A padaprajna (prophet of blood) from Surdok, Oberon is a desert dweller that fanatically views fighting as a way to achieve illumation. Fighting, for him, is spreading his belief that everyone is going to die, so you might as well die gloriously and sell your life dearly. He was a gladiator in the Surdok capital up until the war started: the he joined the human armies of the south.
He dresses in light multicolored robes as the fashion of his people, and always has his trusty polearm at hand, using a style colled Dashing Cobra (which consists in using long reach weapons, waiting for the right opportunity to strike). His many scars tell a history of violence and blood, his body wasted by the numerous wounds. In battle he is menacing and tries to intimidate his opponents by showing his prowess with the weapon and casting divine blessing upon himself.
He respects bravery and martial prowess. He doesn't hate any particular race or group: to him, everyone is equal in combat, as the blood is red for all of us.
