"TYPHON NOOOoooooo!!!"

In a brilliant flash of light, the ghoul guarding the exit, the one scorched by Lureene's lightning, and Nylithati are burned to ashes and blown away by the glory of Alíta. The remaining two stagger in disbelief eyes wide at what has become of their sacred mother.

Heedless of Mal's claws, the one nearest him dives forward as if hoping to save Nylithati by scooping up her ashes. The other follows suit, dropping to its knees as well.

Nylithati reels before the unbridled power of Alíta. That blast surely should have resulted in her destruction, yet there she stood in defiance of the young goddess. Surely this was a vindication of Typhon's power, surely this was an expression of her worthiness — the worthiness of her children!

Cackling in spite of the severe burns she just suffered, Nylithati raises the ancient talisman she uncovered here so long ago. "Children, bask in the power of Typhon and know life everlast–"

Without warning, Darvesch springs at her, his short legs propelling him higher than they had any business doing. Yet the dwarf had not swung for her throat...

"–NNNGGH!"

Nylithati gasps in shock as Darvesch's heavy axe slams into the serpentine relic in her hand, crushing the millennia-old piece of red-veined marble to dust!

In horror she can cry but a single word:

"BLASPHEMER!!!"

In a furious rage, she casts a vile spell and the hand that had previously held her unholy symbol glows with a baleful red light. Reaching out like some grim reaper, she touches Darvesch on the front of his breastplate and the energy blasts clear thru him carrying his life-force away with it.

The dauntless dwarf somehow remains on his feet, although he looks like he could fall over if struck by so much as a feather!

Spying a ghoul trying to sure up the defenses at the entrance to this chamber, Darvesch pivots delivering a devastating backhand with his axe that nearly topples the ghoul closest to Sasha.

Undaunted, Nylithati raises her hand once more and calls out, "Fear not children, Typhon will not abandon you!"

In a wave of unholy energy, the scorching damage from Lureene's fireball and Priyya's arrows is wiped away. While Priyya, Lureene, and King Tut are not in range of the fell energy, Talvyra collapses into unconsciousness, and both Sasha and Darvesch are beginning to look haggard from continued exposure.

Based off the observation that Priyya's positive channeling harming her, that her negative channeling was healing herself, and that she seems rather spy compared to Malikadna, you guys surmise that she has to be undead. You also recall Captain Beliker's journal mentioning her as part of his crew and that even the most recent entry was penned some 60 years ago.

The elimination of the ghoul at the tunnel entrance makes Priyya's shot much easier. She aims above the energetic dwarf and puts a single arrow into the undead crone, her first shot having no effect on Nylithati's leathery old hide.

Nylithati sneers at the tiny priestess' pluck.

"They shall all be food for mighty Typhon, my children. Let them rush to their final fate!"

With that, she holds up her talisman again, wholly undoing all the damage to her own kin and racking the rest of you with pain. Lureene's eagle is immediately blown away by the force of the blast. Sasha and Talvyra are also strongly affected, unable to resist the foul energy.

Once she has unleashed the negative energy wave, the priestess takes a step back to allow her children room to maneuver.

FYI, you can't 5-ft step on difficult terrain, but it's AoO missed anyway so no harm in this case.

Darvesch shoves his way up next to Talvyra and lays into the ghoul before him with his axe. A moment later, Nylithati raises a serpentine talisman clutched tight in her hand and a wave of baleful red energy sweeps outward mending the lead ghoul's injuries and sapping the life force of Darvesch and Talvyra.

Priyya looses twice. The first arrow ends up striking the ghoul attacking Talvyra, yet the second hits the ancient priestess. A moment later, Lureene's eagle appears, its claws raking harmlessly across her hard flesh.

The moment Priyya's arrow hits Nylithati, Darvesch feels the force gripping his heart release and he can move again!

Doh, almost forgot the enemy's turn! I know you guys would have been upset sooo...

Down below, Nylithati glowers in anger, continuing to wring Darvesch's heart with her cruel intent. However she appears to be biding her time.

Be that as it may, another ghoul rushes forward into the breech to attack Talvyra. The creature's claws dig deep, opening a terrible wound on her shoulder. Yet though she should cry out or retaliate, she stands still, rigid as the dwarf behind her!

"Grab the dwarf, strip his bones. I shall freeze the blood in his veins..." The words echo down the tunnel reaching even to the entry chamber as Nylithati steps into view of Darvesch. With a wicked sneer, the purple-skinned old hag points a crooked finger straight at Darvesch before clenching her fist so hard that he can hear the bones in her old hand crack.

Instantly he finds himself unable to move, his heart seizing within his chest as if gripped by an iron vice! Although he can still think, not even his eyes will blink nor his lungs take a breath.

In the next moment, cruel claws grasp his arms pulling him forward into the hallway beyond!

Still waiting and hoping that the others are able to escape, Lureene keeps an eye on the situation below, wondering how much longer it will take before Alis and Sasha arrive to help. As she looks, the ghoul that was watching her retreats out of the way, his place take by a truly decrepit and ancient-looking crone appears dressed in tattered, filthy vestments, with purplish-grey skin and bone-white hair.

The old hag squints upwards with beady red eyes that grow wide upon seeing Lureene. Baring rotten, yellow teeth, she turns and whispers something behind her that the succubus cannot hear. Turning her gaze back towards the winged-woman, she groans an invokation and thrusts her staff forward like a spear, shaking it vigorously.

Immediately, a glowing red spear like the one held by Invidia appears at the edge of the ledge near Lureene and strikes at her. Yet the instant it makes contact with her, the weapon wavers, cracks, and then shatters into a thousand pieces, fading away into nothingness.

The old crone frowns deeply, eyes never wavering from her golden adversary.
