Hello I want to create a magic artifact but I don't know how to calculate the price. It is supposed to work like the spell "False Vision". However, it's range is a 30 miles radius not a 40-ft one. How am I to put this in rules terms? How am I to estimate the Price and Cost. Is there a better spell I could use? Any tips? Regards
Heyhey I need creative help. I am currently thinking about some creepy effects to spice up a horror themed adventure. Like those listed in the "Heroes of Horror". It is about minor strange events that do not deal real damage but are... well strange and creepy. Like one character grows funghi on his skin or something like that... Any ideas?
Hello I have a question. I once designed a magical trap for a D&D 3.5 module. It was supposed to work like this: Everybody touching a certain floor starts dancing around loosing 1 temporary Con per round. This goes on until one succeeds at a Will save or dies. How am I to put this in terms of the Pathfinder rules for trap designing? The only spell I found to be of use is an 8th level spell ("Irresistable Dance") which makes the CR far to high for a trap that most probably won't do that much harm. Regards
Heyhey The Core Rulebook says that the spell Locate Creature cannot be blocked by anything except running water. Does running water only mean rivers? What about a sea? Can you sense the direction of someone aboard a ship?
Regards
Heyhey I am working at a manuscript for a PFRPG module with lots of orcs and derros in it. I really do like the new rules. However, the bestiary confuses me in two instances. 1. Derros are using repeating light crossbows that deal 1d8 points of damage. Why do they deal so much damage? Derros are small creatures aren't they? The Core rulebook tells me small light crossbows deal 1d6 damage. And by the way: Wouldn't they need an Exotic Weapon Proficiency to use these weapons? 2. The Bestiary says that orc characters suffer from light sensitivity. However, the entry for the NPC orc doesn't list that weakness. Is this intended? Regards
I find it a bit strange how the disguise skill changed. Now it appears that you can only use it on yourself, which is a bit absurd. Why shouldn't the bard be able to disguise the fighter. As it stands, a character can only help someone else to use makeup, to dress up etc., granting her only a +2 bonus.
