Edited post above, sorry Mike :)

With the warning Nu'mara retrieves an arrow from her quiver, ready to test her new bow.

Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Crit Confirm 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Damage 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (1, 4) + 8 = 13
Survival 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Dangit!

EDIT: Added survival Check, if failed this will be round one action

Nice bonus Mo'butu. Looks like many people are better at survival than the ranger :(

"Thank you Corvus. Any kind of help is appreciated. The sooner we find the ruins the sooner we can track down the halfling."

Nu'mara packs what gear she has and prepares herself for the journey through the dangerous jungle. As the move out of camp, Nu'mara approaches Chacall to discuss survival techniques.

Survival 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
The Ranger seems like the best candidate for this job :)

EDIT: Now that I look at it, Chacall is actually better suited. Mine will be an aid another check if he wants to take the helm.

"Rest would be nice. First light it is."

Looking over the group of adventurers she had recently befriended, Nu'mara speaks when it seems all the others had finished, "Friends, we should leave as soon as possible. The halfling's tracks get harder to discern as time passes."

Seeing a group of people forming around the healer, Nu'mara makes her way over to hear their conversation. "If we can make it to a location we know the halfling stopped I think I could track him from there."

Cool if I add 37.5gp for selling my old bow?

I would like a MW Composite Longbow (+2 Str) 600gp (500gp camp, 100gp my own), if that is available. Let me know how much a contribution toward a wand would be and I'll put some in. Maybe some potions also, let me think about that.

Nu'mara sits near the fire with the other three adventurers. As she is eating, she looks over at each of them, "Do you all know each other from Nantambu?"

WooHoo!

Nu'mara rushes into the camp to help the guards.

"Should we move toward the camp and see if the remaining ape-men scatter?" Nu'mara asks, looking over the large bleeding body of the ape-men leader.

Corvus and Mo'butu were before me, so if you need to adjust my movement go ahead Mike.

Garboko's impact on Nu'mara almost knocked her to the ground. After the beast bit down on her armor, she was surprised she was not injured. Feeling a new found confidence, she steps up to Garboko and lashes out with both her axes in a frenzy.

5 foot step to T33
Full Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Damage 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Quite alright Mike. Rheed's turn, then start of new round, correct?

Since you are keeping the initiative, does that that mean big bad Garboko goes last?

Nu'mara sees the giant gorilla thundering towards them and lets her knocked arrow fly toward the charging behemoth. She then drops her bow and draws both her axes.

Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

I am guessing we are putting an end to the sleeping one's lives quickly. Do we rush in from here then?

"Nice work Ceer. What is the plan from here?"

"I will shoot any who stand."

I can charge next round if needed.

Nu'mara knocks an arrow, also nodding to Ceer.

Nu'mara follows behind Ceer.

Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Good question Ceer. Mike, how many were there?

Nu'mara moves north into the center of the group and whispers: "Are we going over the wall and attacking from behind? We don't really know how many are deeper in the camp."

Nu'mara moves deeper into the jungle, trying to gain better cover.

Move 20ft west into jungle and Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Can I attempt another stealth check if I move into the jungle or am I spotted?

Nu'mara sheathes her axes and readies her bow for their trip into the camp. She moves as close to the path as possible to stay hidden.

Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10. Looks like I'm screwed on that one.

Three of us can coup de grace an ape each in one round and the rest can ready for others. Unless you guys want to move up?

Sounds good. Sorry if I made the confusion worse.

I don't really see a problem with the way we run it now. The ape-man I am probably killing and Rheed act after me in round one, so I don't feel my early post will change anything up-coming .

I believe the ape-men in pink on the map are asleep. That can at least answer that one :)

Sorry for the early post, but I may not be able to post when you start round 1

Seeing the ape-man with the axe stuck in his shoulder start to retreat toward the camp, Nu'mara moves quickly up to him and lashes out with her axe in a fit of rage.

Move to K37 and Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Damage 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 the ape-man in K36

Though her hate for the ape-men begs her to jump at the nearest one, Nu'mara knows that waiting for the right moment can make things that much easier. Nu'mara stays hidden in the bush waiting for the right time to pounce.

Delay till Round 1

Nu'mara draws her axes and prepares for the ambush.

One word. Awesome! I would like to move as close to the road as possible without exiting cover. Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Nu'mara heads back toward Rheed to let him in on the plan.

Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

As she reaches Rheed, Nu'mara leans over and whispers to him. "They are going to lay the trap and then we will come out of hiding in flanking position."

Mike, do Rheed and I have to move to be able to see the trap go down?

Heck yeah! Jolly good map sir.

Nu'mara thinks for a minute. "If you draw them back toward you, Rheed and I can come up behind them and we can have them flanked."

Stealth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Nu'mara sneaks back toward the others and relays what she has seen. "Where do you think would be best to place your illusion?" She asks Ceer and Ku'ada.

Nu'mara will actively scan the area while moving. Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 24 concerning ape-men

I believe you are right about the perception, but my Armor check penalty is 0 because the masterwork chain shirt and armor expert trait.

Nu'mara falls in step next to Rheed. "I hope it is not too late. The ape-men were already becoming impatient when I escaped." She comments giving Rheed a short glance.

Don't worry, I am the same way on the weekends.

Me likey and other DM's have used this before in games I am in. It is quick and dirty but effective.

"I will accompany you, Rheed."

Nu'mara looks at Ceer. "I was not paying as much attention as I should have been, but the camp should not be far. I was not running for that long."

"I say we leave them bound and burn their weapons." Nu'mara agrees. She then looks at Mo'butu with a nod. "Greetings to you."

"Nice to meet you Rheed. I agree, it may be difficult to move these creatures as is. We should move quickly though, I have little faith that the ape-men's patience will last much longer." Nu'mara says with a weary look on her face.

"In that case, I would like to accompany you. I have nowhere else to go and I owe this King Silverback revenge for my village's slaughter."
