Hey everyone!

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!

I just wanted to say that I am (finally!) ready to return!!

I would be happy to do a live play on Roll20. It is a great tool and works great.

I will take the weapon and deliver it for Corg. You who are ill should find your cures. I can complete the delivery.

Unless others object, Nosa will go alone to complete the delivery. Is there anyone for hire in the town that I can hire on as a squire? Or would I be better off in a larger town?

Nosa howls in pain at the bite on his leg, but takes advantage of the beast being locked onto his leg and attempts to drive his longsword through its skull.

Trajen, at hearing his masters cry of pain lashes out with two powerful hooves.

Nosa, seeing Beckett fell the beast who attacked him focuses on the one in front of him.

Horse and master becoming one, Trajen positions himself so that Nosa can swing at the beast.

Nosa wakens quickly when the call goes out. He grabs his armor and has one of the caravan members assist him in donning it.

He races to where Trajen is, the great warhorse stamping and throwing his head about, clearly aware of the beasts and desperate to get into the battle.

He mounts Trajen. Nosa lays his hand on the great beasts neck and pats him gently, he leans close and whispers [i]Come my friend. The Lady calls us to action[/b]

Trajen rears back and Nosa is forced to hold tightly to the reigns or lose the saddle.

Nosa draws his sword and points in the direction of the beasts.

Nosa looks at his friend. The first he had made on this journey and probably the first he had made in his life. His heart aches to see his pain.

He reaches out his hand.

You know that I stand beside you Beckett Foxglove. You know that I have sworn to you that I will aid you in whatever way I can, and that I will help you see this curse broken, and your name restored. Your fathers path is not your path.

Nosa glances at each of the companions in turn, seeing the looks on their faces.

Look around you my friend. You are not alone.

Nosa hearing the sounds, fits his helm on and draws his sword and shield.

He closes his eyes, mutters a brief prayer to the Lady, and relies on his senses to try and determine whether whatever is out there is of an evil nature.

Nosa dismounts of off Trajen. He nuzzles the great horses muzzle in his hands, already acknowledging the bond between man and beast. Trajen returns the affection, knowing he has found his knight.

Nosa pats him gently and watches as he slips off to graze. He then turns and heads over to where his friends are questioning the gnoll.

He claps Beckett hard on the shoulder with his usual greeting. So my friend. What did I miss?

sign me up for the same gear as the good dwarf. I'll be broke after buying the armor, but it will be worth it. Does the special armor trait I have help with the new armor? It's supposed to allow me to don armor in half the time.

Nosa wakes early as is his custom and prays. He thanks the goddess for her guidance and her divine calling. He thanks her for the new friends and comrades he has made in his journey, recalling his fears upon setting off from home, expecting his journey to be a long and solitary one.

After his prayers are finished he goes about the business of cleansing and polishing his armor.

He carefully takes each piece and polishes it to a high sheen, noting the nicks and scrapes that it has taken and remembering each sword thrust or arrow that tried to pierce it.

He remembers well Veras telling him how valuable a good set of armor is and this set has served him well, though he is excited about the prospect of donning the dwarfs fine set that he had bargained for.

He gently stores each piece and prepares to retire it from his uses.

Nosa takes a moment to consider the man, wondering his intentions.

He sees the shift in the big mans stance and recognizes the practiced ease in which he addresses those around him.

Nosa does not flinch. He stands firm and resolute.

Nosa, uncomfortable with the look of the man strides up to stand beside Karl.

He shrivels his nose in disgust at the appearance of Hittlebriar. The ways of the Knights of Ozem was to train to make their bodies strong and fit. Seeing one such as Hittlebriar, with no apparent regard for his own body as a living temple, causes an anger to rise in Nosa.

He stands beside Karl,

Our business is our own.

Nosa takes hold of the notebook paper the dwarf hands him. Immediately he is struck by the blacksmiths memory and artistry. On the page is a near perfect representation of the sigil of house Shieldarm.

Iomedae's sword graces the center on the sigil with a golden eagle aloft on the hilt. The eagle, nearly as resplendent as the sword has wings spread wide as if to shield the world from any evils that may be behind it.

Nosa smiles a broad smile. Memories of the first time he bore the family symbol flood back and he is reminded of his calling.

it is perfect master dwarf. It seems there is no end to your artistry. The sigil of house Shieldarm shall look magnificent on your armor. And may all who stand in the way of justice look in them both with dread.

You never know when help will come to you, or when you will be sent to help. To be one of our order is to be one who puts aside his own self for the sake of helping others. Yet do not be fooled. There are those who will try and take advantage of this and will use it to bend you to their will. Trust in the Lady that you will know the difference.

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the game Shadows of Brimstone? I picked this absolute gem up about a month ago and it hasn't left my table yet and I don't see it leaving any time soon.

This game is the closest thing to an rpg in a box that I have found (and I've been waiting for a long time for a game to fill that niche). There have been a lot of games that have covered some parts of the genre well, but this one really covers them all.

I will go wherever the group chooses, and wherever the Lady leads. While any of you were out, did you happen to notice a blacksmith or armory? I would like to see about upgrading my armor. The road ahead will be full of danger and I want to be prepared.
