About Nish'Grak
Character Sheet
There is unrest in the Mahroti Empire, a dissatisfaction with the status quo. No-one knows how widespread the movement is but there are those across all ranks that say that the Morza have become indulgent, complacent and lazy. That, specifically, the presence of non scaled folk in the empire is a blasphemy, and the sultana the greatest of all. At least that's what Nish'Grak thinks is going on.
Like all his clutchmates when they came of age Nish joined the service of Urmanli Uloonan Pashtek. A bronze dragon of little renown but great ambition and, Nish believes, a leading believer in the removal of non-scaled races from Mahroti.
After three years of service Nish had come to follow his interpretation of the insidious teachings of the Urmanli and revere her to such an extent that he viewed her as his god. His loyalty was absolute, he would lay down his life at her merest word, if he ever met her in person that is.
It was this loyalty that caught the eye of his superiors; he was approached by an anonymous Dragonkin and given a sensitive task to complete for the Urmanli. He was to meet with some of her associates in Zobeck, to facilitate some trade deals. He was given the signifier “grak” and bestowed with the ability to magically inscribe a glyph, he presumed it to be the Urmanli’s own mark. Without any further instructions he was shipped off to Zobeck. He supposed the powers that be believed that a kobold would pass with less notice, and if he was found out, no one would believe him anyway.
When he arrived he was very diligent, waiting for his allotted task. But now, after several months, he has grown somewhat distractible and has begun exploring more personal opportunities that may present themselves...
Nish’Grak is a snivelling creature, most concerned with himself and his longevity. He will suck up to just about anyone to save himself with the exception of anyone who speaks ill of, or opposes, his beloved Urmanli Uloonan Pashtek; though he holds non scaly folk in deep contempt. He is not incapable of a little cruelty if he has someone strong in his corner and will pull pranks any time he thinks he can get away with it.
