As my wife says sometimes 'People have rl things to do~' so its understandable that you've been lacking time, its cool you got on and gave us this much with your schedule being that hectic~! =) *nod* Good luck with wherever you will be going soon, I have quite a few friends who are still in the service so I am pretty familiar with how deployment can be. But I never personally have served in any sense, I was going to if I was unable to find a decent job where I lived but I ended up in the oil field work. So now i'm pursuing that route in my college studies coming up, hopefully I will get out of the oil field and do some more domestic process work, drinking water or some other utility.
I'm assuming we will be going unarmed into the temple proper.... Ninn grimace's as she slowly remembers some of the tenets of the Meronia church, with a laborious sigh she pauses in their stroll and slowly starts placing her 'counter measures' into her Haversack. She informs Luc about these tenets, so that the Templar is prepared to surrender his weapon if they wanted to get into the temple proper. She pulls out strange and rough metal devices that Luc may recognize in his days with the military. Ninn gives him a knowing smile as she finishes packing everything into her small backpack and takes up his shield arm again. The only weapon of note still on her person is her crossbow and battle aspergillum.

@Ronin: Ninn merely observes and assists Luc in his checks whenever possible. She is more focused on rooting out the lies in what is revealed to them, so she can better piece together the possible truth. K: Religion: What does Ninn know of Meronia? Ninn smiled, patting his arm as she nodded in agreement to his words. "I would prefer words naturally Lord Luc, I hope that they see wisdom this day. I see any situation we face being easily dealt with, I have no doubt about that, between your sword arm and my strengths we will be unstoppable~. Hopefully the others find out something as well~"
Ninn hides her surprise well when the Templar speaks to her, and smiles broadly at being called 'Lady'. She marks the page in her tome before gently closing it and placing it back in her bag. She inclines her head politely to Luc as she moves to walk side by side with the Templar. "May Soleil give us grace this day and give us the right path to follow Lord Luc. I fear though that they will show the same ineptitude as those we faced before. So I am ready if things go awry... But what part shall I play in this charade, hmm? Or shall I merely be a lady on your arm~" She gently takes lucs arm in hers as she saunters along, appearing to be enjoying the scenery and her golden company to any casual observer, all the while she takes in the people and objects around her. Looking mainly for escape routes and places she could use as cover if things went badly. She smiled broadly knowing the extra measures she had prepared for their journey and she desperately hoped she wouldn't be forced to use them.
Ninn listens intently as they gather information from the local's, she found the information about the lake more fascinating then most of what was said. She made a mental note to scour of the depths of that place whenever she was able. Perhaps something lay dormant down there... She snaps to attention when the templar starts talking and eyes his golden armor pointedly as he finishes speaking. She does smile at his attempts at joking or sarcasm, it was hard to tell, but she couldn't resist commenting quietly on his full attire. If he isn't wearing all of his gear, then this is more a jab at his golden plate mail. >;), nice Appearance tag btw Luc =) "Of course we wouldn't, although I do hope no one recognizes your golden buns, Templar. For it is not everyday, I am sure, that a man of your station comes to ask questions~" She gives him a broad smile as she adds "If you need help, then I will be nearby to assist you. Good Luck Templar Arkenstol. With that Ninn gives him a light wave and goes back to pretending to be completely engrossed with her tome once more. She does not wear her vestments today, she does wear her armored greatcoat and kilt as she saunters about in the shade of the nearby trees. Hoping that the shade would keep the metal of her weapons from giving away how heavily armed she was.
Ninn's smile turns to shock for a moment as Aria pull's her over for a full embrace with the other two women. Ninn laughs merrily as they parted, soon after they began to walk along again. She noticed that the men, it seemed, were taking their time trailing the women. More then likely watching the view from the rear. Figures~ As they walked though she watches as Katani seemed to glow with a new happiness, this is a good sign, it was good to see her happy. Ninn did not know of this woman's past or any of the other's but hoped fervently that their combined futures would be bright if not brighter then her own... She slowly pulled out her tome and began perusing its worn pages, keeping herself sharp and the proper motions for her spells in mind.
Ninn laughs as her dazed look is quite apparent. Aria's presence causes Ninn's heart to flutter. {If I avoid directly looking at her I will be fine... I hope...} "I am doing quite well, aside from the fact that the sun rises and falls for you dear Aria. As does Tristan~. But to have a splendid creature like Zero now that would be a treat, although I may spoil Zero rotten in the mean time." She continues to laugh lightly and smile warmly at those around her. She continues to slowly follow Katani and listens to Aria's words nodding in agreement to what she has to say. "Trust me sister's this will be a Trial for myself as well, for I have never strolled in the country. I have spent more time on cobblestone and behind a forge then in a real forest. I wonder what the natural magi are like? Do they actually talk to trees? Hmmm... so much to research, to learn... I do hope we find something interesting in this foray of ours~ As the pair of women speak quietly in the language of the ancient ones, Ninn can't help hearing what is said before moving back to give them some privacy. Her face is grave for a moment as she stares at the sky and ponders her dark thoughts. {I wish them both the best for the path I walk is laced with disappoint and loneliness...} She whispers quietly to herself watching the women before her embrace. "Dra kodr Y doga yk jaryyj yv myra, Y 'ymm 'omg dra nyojk omyra 'rdym dra joi Y vomm. Orj arar drar Y 'ymm ca Jaryaj." Due to her own ramblings she missed the rest of what was said but it still brought a smile to her face. It always made her happy to see others prosper and seek happiness...
Yeah.... with how i'm multiclassed I don't get much in the higher level stuff just yet =/ but once I get going it'll be awesome. At least if we have another caster in the party I might be able to learn some spells from them... Although since she doesn't have a spell book that may be difficult. lol @ Ronin: I was at work for the last couple weeks and didn't have access to my books. Now that i'm at home, I can think appropriately on that Holiday feat and ability score bonus, I tried not to pick something too game changing. Feat: Selective Channeling
Up to you if this is cool or not, I can roll either way. =) I hope to eventually roll into a gunslinger like setup. But! I am not going to abuse a gift to magically know how to use a gun and strangely not own one :P.
Ninn quirks a smile as Katani rises up, looking almost refreshed, after burying her face in Zero's fur for the last time. Ninn gave Zero another quick scratching under the chin and around his ear's before moving to follow. She kept close to the warrior woman, as she perused Thral's map's, it was good to see this improvement and hopefully it would hold true. As Katani moves off, looking very confident in her direction, Ninn smile's more broadly and follows after her while maintaining a casual pace. "I must admit that I have never left the city before, although it is exciting to think about moving about the country. Perhaps some will be in need of Soleil's grace?" She gives a small chuckle, as they starting walking beneath the great city gates and as they got closer to the other side it was plain to see the awe struck look in her eyes. As she looked upon what lie beyond the gates for the first time... {The things I get myself into....} She gives a nervous laugh, her musical voice echoing beneath the great city gates.
Ninn gives Katani a sad look for a moment and hugs her close in return, she understood somewhat why the warrior was so different today. She runs a hand through Katani's hair delicately, her duty to Soleil and now these people would tax her greatly in the coming days. Hopefully she had the strength... She had spent to long alone and now had to face the reality of more complex companionship "Eljelc I tu cuy xcuf yrel aclfeln yu yray ucel, lilyeln. Poy yrelnel anel uyreln yricwl ic yril funht yray pnicw raqqicelll." Celestial:
Even I do not know the answer to that one, sister. But there are other things in this world that bring happiness. When Katani moves away and starts to pet Zero happily, Ninn smiles and puts a hand on her hip as she watches. {I would take two of these cats if I could find where they dwell, a fine specimen indeed}. She gives a laugh having heard the templar's joke and winks at him before turning back to look at Tristan. "Alas then, so I must climb the great mountains and traverse the many valleys to find such beautiful creatures... She snaps her fingers and 'tsk's' for a moment before smiling broadly and giving Zero a through scratching under the chin. " An adventure for another time I suppose. Although I don't envy your position, even without magic I see this one getting spoiled indeed." After another moment she readjusts her pack and quiver as she readies herself for the journey ahead. {It would have been nice to take all of my boys but... they wouldn't have survived outside the city...}
Zero's massive head pushing against her side cause Ninn to wheeze for a moment as she was distracted talking to Katani. She turns to look at Zero for a moment and without hesitation strokes the creatures head affectionately. As she pets the strange creature she smiles at Tristan roguishly. "I would ask where you got such a wonderful creature but i'm sure its a trade secret you aren't willing to share~ She hasn't ignored Katani, its just so darn hard not to be distracted by this group varied abilities and... Pets. Her mind reeled with the possibilities that this group of individuals presented and needless to say they show great promise in helping her accomplish her goals...
Ninn is taken aback for a moment as she approaches and see's how much Katani had changed since last night, had the templar's word stung her so? Ninn hides her emotions well behind her veneer of friendliness, as she looks to the templar showing the whites of her teeth as she smiles broadly. She would one day cure the corruption within part of this city, but today she would try and right this dour mood that clings to her newest comrade like a shroud. Approaching Katani from the side Ninn attempts to sneak in and bump into her with her shoulder, to distract her from whatever . Str check 1d20 ⇒ 13 Her attempt wasn't perfectly executed as Katani proved to have to much corded muscle for Ninn to push her over easily. Ninn gives the other woman a sly wink. "I should have attempted knocking you over last night, perhaps it would have left less bruising... and would have been way more fun." Ninn rubs her shoulder mockingly, all the while she continues to smile at Katani speaking quietly in the words of purest light to her gifted sister, whilst rolling her eyes in the direction of the golden armored templar. "I fihh ruht zuo yu zuon funtl haly ciwry, al I elgqelvy zuo fihh sel. Ib zuo celelt aczyricw I fihh tu sz pelly yu relhq." Celestial: "I will hold you to your words last night, as I expect you will me. If you need anything I will do my best to help."
Ninn had been scowling for a moment at the high blown Templar's stance but for the life of her she could not stifle the laugh that erupted from the drunkards comments. "Continue sleepwalking my good man and quickly before you attract to much attention to yourself. She smiles warmly at Luc and waves a hand trying to encourage him to continue. "You had me at 'hardships' but you got interrupted, please continue. This is quite fascinating." It is then she gives Luc a good natured wink and a broad smile, hoping he doesn't get too angry with her.
She gracefully makes her way to the gates and gives a small wave to Aria, Tristan and.... Her movements pause as she finally sees the fascinating creature that is following the pair of undead hunters.[/ooc] If she could study it... Realizing how foolish she must look, she quickly coughs into her hand as she tries to appear to have stopped because of a light cough. Then she gives them both a warm smile as she continues towards the gates like nothing had happened at all. She pauses though at seeing who was ahead of her. Katani and Thral standing together Katani obviously saying something that Ninn couldn't hear... She turned on her heel and moved to walk alongside the undead hunters, near they're fabulous looking specim... pet. She casually watched the creature while paying attention to her new friends. "Hopefully you don't mind my presence but... I think its best I stay back here. She gives another light musical laugh as she turns away from the pair up ahead so they don't misconstrue her... amusement. Once her laugh had subsided she turns back to the pair of hunters, her golden eyes intense and searching as she says "By the way~ I was wondering if the rest of your group were Hunters? And exactly what type of weapons were you needing to be crafted?
When Ninn awoke she felt completely rested, yet it was still dark. Her flat was cold and quiet like a tomb save for the deep breathing of her two guard dogs. Being swathed in her armor and warm clothing kept the uncomfortable temperature from bothering her as she slowly rose from her chair. She pulled the small blanket from across her legs and went about performing her daily routine. A cold bath, mending her clothes, checking her armor for damage, packing away her few valuables and replenishing her spiritual and arcane strength for the day. The entire process took a few hours and by then dawn was breaking, a sliver of light appearing along the horizon. With a quick whistle her boys awoke and moved to come alongside her, panting excitedly at the thought of going for a walk. She made haste to her parents home and was greeted by the usual apprentices who were milling around the smithy, getting things tidy and ready for the days work. She smiled and waved as she had worked beside some of them when she was smithing alongside her father. When she finally found her Da he was wide awake as expected. The man was like a fine tuned construct, he was up at the crack of dawn working like a mad man and at midnight he finally retired to his bed. After seeing her parents for a bit had brightened her mood considerably, but all of that was dashed when she visited the guild and received a scolding for 'randomly deciding to go galvanting off with fool hardy hooligan's'. How she loved her professors.... Old featherdusters that they were... When she finally made her way to the city gates she was full of cold determination. "Time to get down to business. I've got a date with a wizard..."
Ninn politely refused the inn room and, after rising from her chair, thanks Thral and bows her head respectfully to Nevas. His insight this night had proved most interesting and strangely thought provoking, it had been a long time indeed since Ninn had enjoyed herself so much. She gave everyone her warm smile as she spoke. "I will meet you all at the gate in the morning, I have to make... arrangements to ensure my home goes unmolested while I am away." She waves farewell to everyone as she leaves the bar and traverses the streets to her flat. She needed no light to see in the twilight of the cities dimmed lights, it was a routine for her to walk in the dark. She uses her magic to make herself invisible as she gets into the more... seedier places near her home. As she opens the door to her flat, her magic wears off the moment she opened the door, and she found herself immediately face to face with a pair of large guard dogs... That were growling menacingly, their ears flat and bearing their sharp teeth at her... Ninn smiles broadly at having been detected again by her boys, with a sharp command the two dogs sit. Panting excitedly at their masters return, they were indeed good dogs but sadly they would not be coming with her on this adventure. She walked in and closed the door sighing heavily as the weight of the day came crashing down, she beckoned the two dogs with an unsteady hand. Not needing a second bidding the pair come forward and receive a steady petting from their tired master. "I can never get around you two can I? Sadly tomorrow I will be going away and you will be staying with Da..." The moment the word leaves her lips the pair look up at her with lowered ears and sad eyes, it was hard to resist those stares... But she had too, they could not come... it was too dangerous for them. "Don't give me that look Saber, you too Virgil, I know you hate the noise at Da's but you will go there until I return." She finished giving them both a thorough petting before heading to her bedroom, her flat was an empty place devoid of much furniture and spartan in its function. Her bedroom contained a bed and a simple armchair, the bed she rarely slept in and the Armchair had the permanent imprint of her armor. As she sat back in the armchair, Virgil and Saber curled up at her feet obediently, she adjusted her armored coat and kilt so she would be comfortable and then placed her bonded weapon upon her lap. You could never be too careful... As she closed her eyes she began to quickly fall asleep. In a couple hours she would awake fully rested as usual and be up early enough to meet her friends at the gate and have ample time to get everything she needed to get done early.
Ninn focused on Nevas as he spoke, his words caused her to pause, momentarily forgetting her dark thoughts as she listened to his words. As she started to pull herself out of her gloom, she started to think about the gods and how their wills sometimes turn you to other paths. She looked shocked for a moment as Katani suddenly reached over and began pouring her strong mead into Ninn's empty glass. When Aria did the same, Ninn laughed, her finger had been doused and she was sure to get sloshed at this rate. She toasts again with her now full glass of mixed mead and wine. "To comradery!" With that she drinks down her drink and sets the glass down on the table just in time to listen to Katani harass the golden plated warrior and her talking blade. Ninn couldn't help but chuckle at the whole ordeal. Especially at how uptight the gold plated man was at the bar eating by his lonesome. Drunkness Save:
Fort Save: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 - 1 = 21 As Thral arrived with new drinks Ninn greated him with a warm smile. She took a swig of her new drink and enjoyed the pleasant feeling of it burning its way down. Setting her drink on the table she listened to the continued conversation's and quirked an eyebrow at the talk of attacking a wizards tower. She leaned back in her chair as she thought about the possible defenses they would run into and how inadequate her spells were with dealing with such magical defenses. She sighed heavily as she began talking, imagining the horrors a school of wizards could unleash on unknowing intruders. "I agree with Tristan, more then likely their magical defenses will be quite formidable and you will either perish or be driven back long before you cause any real damage. I hate to admit this but even my spells are less then a match for a few wizards, let alone a school of them. If you need a place in the city to stay and hatch this plan, the guild allows me to use of a Flat near the poor side of town. But it is at your disposal and would be a good place to meet without having eyes and ears in every corner. She took another swig of her drink, she smiled broadly at the thought of how much power she could claim from a wizard tower. Well... So long as she survived...
Lmao, hmmmm here goes for a drink save~ Fort Save? 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 Hehe Ninn is cool and in control of herself so far, and I didn't even need Guidance... yet ;) As Tristan moved his perky self out of the way Ninn could finally get a good look at Aria, sadly her good intuition didn't prepare her senses for what she saw. Ninn's jaw almost hit the floor, this woman glowed with inner and outer beauty that could tame any man with a mere smile. IF THAT! Perhaps it was the drink but if... No, best she stop there. Ninn recovered herself as quickly as she could. She felt the slight burn of embarrassment deep in her core, because there was no way she could have hidden her shock... especially with that armor Aria was wearing.... hmmm. Tristan is a lucky B@%&$#^... Ninn in her embarrassment focuses on watching the men-folk go and smiles as they start talking at the bar, she hoped her next drink wasn't spiked with something 'extra'. Her cheeks started to burn as her embarrassment moved upward towards her neck, she maintained her warm smile and tried to shove her emotions back down. Before they caused her further ill! But as each woman began to speak in turn she forgot her struggles and sat stunned by their powerful words. "I... I am at a loss my dear sisters, and sadly my drink has expired early." 'Yee gods I need another and quick' She raises her empty glass in toast to this newfound sisterhood, even letting slip a short laugh of joy. "May we bring ruin to those who stand against us and lay low any man who seeks to better us without our approval." With that she sat back in her chair trying to get more comfortable as she adjusted her coat ever so slightly, so it didn't chafe her as much. She sat cross legged, idling playing with the ice in her glass. She smiled and listened to the conversations around her, nodding every now and again but slowly began drifting as darker thoughts took hold. As she pushed the ice around with her slim finger, her eyes became somewhat distant. She started to think about her life thus far, what she needed to accomplish and wondered if she would use these good people for her own ends or merely take the nearest opportunity to vanish whilst they weren't looking.
As Ninn listened to the jests and good humored jabs at the men-folk, she smiled more and more as she was barely able to contain her laughter at the newest 'pet' names the men were receiving. She watched the reactions of those around her and felt warmer, more carefree, perhaps it was the whiskey. She did have a low tolerance for it but it had been such a long time since she had enjoyed such good company, too bad their other comrade couldn't have joined them. His name escaped her, but she would memorize it and every minute detail of the man as well. She had been interested to see him loosen up a little but he was so wound up tight that he couldn't even enter a lowly bar such as this... Feh... She casted him from her mind as she focused back on the interesting banter around her, she smiled mischievously at how much the men seemed to squirm. She gave Aria a sly wink and mirrored the womans broad smile, Ninn was barely resisting a giggle at how Tristan began to stutter in response to his wifes playful teasing. She smiles at Aria "It is a pleasure to meet you Aria, I am Ninn Elen'Lain, and may I just say that you are quite remarkable, especially keeping your persuasive husband in check so easily. How do you do it~?" Ninn kept an eye on Nevas, awaiting the man's response but also fearing what he may say... In the mean time though she wanted to keep the day lively and entertaining~

She smiled warmly at Nevas response, easily understanding the origin of his words, and bowed her head in respect to what could possibly be a traveling priest of some repute. She tried to hide her annoyance at the bits of grime and gore that remained even after she had used her spell... She couldn't fathom how or why her spells were failing her so... But yet again proof that she was somehow slipping... That was not allowable, no, not if she wanted to succeed. She had to become stronger. With a quiet sigh, she realeased her pent up frustration and became serene once more. As she took her seat back next to Katani, quirking an eyebrow at the conversation going on, she became distracted by the back and forth between everyone and everything she was learning about them! As she smiles, filled with the satisfaction of learning something new about those around her, she starts to imagine how best to utilize their talents. It was then she noticed the drinks that Thral had so graciously provided. As she accepted her drink and started to give thanks for his kindness, Tristan pulls up his sleeve revealing the strange runes that seem to flow across his right arm and with a quick glance she understood the meaning of the symbols. "You have my dearest thanks Thrall, I will have to repay you sometime for the courtesy you have shown." She gave him a warm smile and a sly wink before returning her attention to the others. Ninn didn't have Katani's raw... drive or advantages but Ninn was very partial to strong individual's and the more willful they were the more interesting they proved to be~ But now she was understanding why Katani was so unique. She was a Summoner for pete's sake! Ninn would have never had guessed it, not with the way Katani carried herself. No... Katani was possessed by the fighting spirit of her barbarian ancestors and yet the power of a summoner must have lay dorment in her bloodline... It simply boggled the mind! What were the odds that so many with such raw talent and potential had gathered in one place so easily. Wait. What had Nevas said, 'Saviors of Ren'? Preposterous! She was but a lowly apprentice... He must be joking... that couldn't possibly be right... As she took a long draw on her drink as she pondered the meaning of Nevas's words. "As much as I find this interesting, I do not understand how I have a role to play in this. Forgive my ignorance but I have just met these unique and wonderful people only hours before. Please Nevas, if you would humor me by gracing us further with your wisdom. I would be most grateful." Her warm smile had faded slightly when she considered the implication of his words, that soon she would have even more enemies to contend with... Great... Thats just bl@@dy GREAT...
Wow... I really need to get over this sleep debt lol I keep missing things >.<; its driving me nuts. After being so tired from the days events and conversing so lively with Katani, Ninn didn't realize that she had ignored the other occupant of the table until Tristan had spoke. Quickly hiding her surprise at such a grievous error, she hastily stands and pushes her chair back under the table. She bows apologetically and addresses the lone elf in elven. "Oemveela sa mywalalala, E saill'an le ellaycan fa laeananelv ameanireyan eleleanilaneel." elven:
"Forgive my rudeness, I mean't no insult by sitting without invitation. Thanks tristan~ =)
Hehe, I WISH there were decent gaming groups where I lived, most of the people who do play are, for lack of a better term, creepy as heck like stalker creepy... But thats what happens when your buddies leave for college, its so hard to find decent replacements! xD. I too apologize for my errors as of late~ Argh 16-18+ hr shifts is killing me. >.<; Thankfully though I have less then a week left and then I get to have 2 weeks off at home~ >=)
Ninn is definitely known by a few merchants because of her way to close a deal, much like her old man, although she does drive a hard bargain. But thats business ;) I do wanna see Aria in action sometime though =). Sorry for the typos -.- I seriously am too tired I think because when I type it out it looks like x and, when I read it later, somehow it became y... She hadn't expected Thral to pick up the tab, she finds herself reconsidering her drinks. She didn't feel like burdening these new allies she has made, especially not until she understood them better. There was much to learn through simple observation. Finally deciding what to drink she places a hand on Thral's arm for a moment to get his attention, once she has it she gives him a warm smile. "That is most kind of you Thral. I will take a small whiskey on the rocks, if there is any to be had, if not I will just have a dry ale. She moves to the side of the table that has its back to the wall, as she sits she casually keeps her hand on her Battle Asper. She didn't trust bars very much, too many men get tanked and when they start thinking they can get 'touchy feely' with the weak mage... They get burned. How she wished her dogs were here, they were good to have just in case. As she waited for the others to sit down she took note of the Inquisitors absence and sighed. She was much too tired to keep track of that man, let alone understand what drives some to wander off in the first place. She runs her eyes across the bar patrons and finds herself oddly amused by the sight of a gnoll in the bar, she quirks a smile at the rare treat and continues to peruse the patrons. Shortly after sitting down the table starts cleaning itself as she idle continues to use whats left of her spell.
Nice lol, over all I enjoy pathfinder over the old 3.X stuff sadly I own all the friggen books from the older system -.-; I need to convert some of it over someday xD Iron Kingdoms though was a very decent 3.5e system and had a lot of steam punk in it, it also contained firearms, explosives and changed up the way divine magic and arcane magic worked. It was more focused on mechanical items over magical items but arcane magic was mostly unaffected except for higher end spells weren't as readily available as in normal 3.X. It had PrC classes such as! Pistoleer
It was a neat setting very realistic and well written. They definetly made curing others a lot harder. You could still do it but say If you all worships a god that is a rival of my god/goddess. Then I wouldn't be allowed to cure you since you worship differently then I do. But if I DID cure you my god could smote me depending on how many times I broke the 'law' with them. there were a lot of tables on this divine punishment.
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 I notice nothing lol As the fool man is dragged away, Ninn stands, her fists begin shaking as she barely control's her frustration. 'Soleil's grace wasted by foolish pride again! All that effort wasted and I learned NOTHING of the mage!' As her frustration fades, her features soften as she was pacing her breathing and focusing on being serene once more. After achieving her desired state of calm she smiles at the thought of adding that enemy mages spell book to her own. Maintaining her calm, she turns around to find that everyone is suddenly closer then she expected. Her smile broadens in satisfaction now that, thankfully, she wouldn't have to go hunting for the wounded. "If your looking for a weapon-smith I can help you. I am very familiar with a forge, though I do admit that I am not as good as my father in the craft." She smiles as she flexes her calloused hands. "But he is much too busy producing goods for the empires military to do any requests these days. Also if you need a guide I can show you around, being born and raised in this city has its... advantages, one could say. But first, I must know if any of you are still injured? She starts looking for obvious injuries, starting with the newcomer. As she 'looks' for injuries she is impressed with what she saw and especially at this 'warrior' woman's ferocity. Her golden eyes shine mischievously as she gives Katani a warm smile, Ninn focuses as she quickly casts prestidigitation hands move quickly performing the necessary gestures to cast. As she finished casting Prestidigitation she ponder a moment before she started moving her hands in slow almost delicately , performing the simple gestures one must do to use this novice spell. "This simply won't do, hmm, perhaps... Yes~ A touch here, to... oh yes that color is perfect, it truly brings out the fire in your spirit~" Through the help of the spell Ninn slowly removed the gore, which had to go, so she could see Katani's full features unmarred by the enemies spilled ichor. She continues to smile as she removes the filth and gore from Kitani's skin and clothing, at least what she could see~. Once finished she focuses finally on Katani's strawberry red hair enhancing it with her spell to became a much more fiery, lustrous strawberry red and smelling of fresh srawberries. She continues to perform these minor tricks on the others, enhancing this and cleaning that. Will DC13 to resist (I think) spell description doesn't really say :P "So which tavern do you prefer~? Because I could seriously use a stiff drink after today."
Cure Light Wounds 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Giving Thrall a tired smile, Ninn politely motions for him to wait a moment. She kneels near the dying man and clasps her goddess symbol, praying quietly. Deeply focused she slowly places her hands on either side of his head, his body moves involuntarily, as before their eyes his muscles and skin knits itself back together. Sighing she turns to look at Thrall and gives another tired, yet mischievous, smile. "I have a knack for being in the right place at the worst possible times, but I do have my uses." She gives a light and musical laugh, being this close causes her otherworldy features to be more prominent, her golden eyes seem to sparkle as she laughs. "My name is Ninn, I am an ex-priest of Soleil an apprentice at the local Wizards Guild. I perform minor services in the poorer districts and... Pardon me a moment. Her eyes change from being filled with mirth one moment to being hard edged and cold, she turns back to the man as he begins to moan. As the pain of his wounds seep into his barely conscious state, she places her hand over his mouth and kneels over him. Between being badly injured, a blade on his poor throat and the calls of the Imperials nearby as they do their 'duty', she barely represses a smirk as its obvious where the man's attentions lie as she stares him directly in the eyes. She gives him a deadpan stare, her golden eyes are close enough that he has no choice but to look at her and she holds him firmly so he can't look away there is no escape except to face her as she speaks in a voice that betrayed none of her previous mirth and was utterly devoid of emotion. "Soleil has given you two choices: Redemption or the imperial cells. You will either tell us what you know, especially about that wizard you had, and live an 'Honest' profession from now on. Or I leave you here. You have very little time, Choose Now." Diplomacy1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Ninn curses as her spell fails to stop the mage from escaping, she would find out how he had beaten her Silence spell! Had she not been paying attention to that feral savage that had joined the battle she would have seen what HE HAD DONE and perhaps countered it! She shook with frustration before sighing, casually wiping the dust off her armor, and she slowly paced her breathing using the teachings of the church to help achieve a more serene state of mind. Finally calming down, she glanced at those around her and could easily see some had been wounded in the battle. She couldn't allow their pain to continue. Reverently she took hold of her silver holy symbol of Soleil and knelt in the bloodied street near her allies and began praying for the power to heal the wounds around her. AS she prays those near her feel a warm energy pulse through them. It is a pleasent feeling as each pulse passes through them their wounds begin to mend, the aches and pains of the battle fade away. Until there is nothing left. She staggers to her feet and begins making her way over to the downed man, who is barely holding onto life. She fumbles to reattache her Battle Aspergillumto one handed to her belt and keeps hold of her goddesses symbol. "As much as they deserved the fate they brought upon themselves, I cannot stand by and let a person suffer in my presense... No matter how foul or loathsome... 'Ye Gods, I am NEVER leaving the bows at home again!' Channel Positive Energy: Twice~! 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 4) = 16 (3 of 5/day remaining)
Since I don't know how everyone will react to Ninn~ so I will wait and see how it plays out. Good battle everyone and some awesome beat-downs there lol.
I guess I will add a feat as well since I didn't hear of a Christmas bonus lol I think I joined after the fact, But Ronin has been Extremely bust like me as well in RL stuff~ Stupid long shifts..... My sleep debt is enormous. Anyways~ Up to you Ronin if thats cool or not. An extra feat would help some but either way I'm having fun blasting stuff as it is >=). Hopefully I did alright in that battle lol xD I'm used to being a front line fighter and I was trying to mix it up with the buffing, blasting, disrupting and healing :) Although you guys killed everyone before I could get to the healing. xD
Welcome to the group! I'm still really new myself~ Excellent first post by the way, also a very snazzy avoidance of the silence spell as well >=) Poor E10 is not having a good day with everyone suddenly up in his grill! Your typing/grammar looks better then mine lol xD. I will post a reaction once Ronin has the time to continue, but you will have definitely caught Ninn's attention.
I'm totally fine with the 5/10 rule since I have a handy radial template to look at so I don't fudge a spell. 20ft Radial
Ya I lost two fairly recently as well lol... But now I have more time to spend on the ones i'm still in, been keeping myself at a limit of 3 just so I don't overwhelm myself. I'm a fairly fast at typing but~ I work some seriously insane hours and sometimes I may/maynot have internet access and have to use my blackberry lol.
@DM:
Ronin do you do the 5/10 rule for radial bursts or is it just a 20ft square? I was trying to center the silence spell where it caught the mage in its grasp and either forced him to move towards us to be free of it quickly or to have to double move out of it to move away from angry men with swords >=) Oh man Thrall is about to unleash a world of hurt now! @.@;
Seeing the other caster harming her 'allies' Ninn eyes become steely and like a blade she unleashes her next spell. As she weaved runic glyphs in the air, she targets the ground just behind the caster, she smirked as the sound this rival 'mage' was making becomes quite and less annoying. She offered them surrender, now they could die in silence as her friends tore them down in close combat without the aid of their feeble magician. SA: Cast Silence on E7, 20 ft radius, duration 4 rounds
Ninn kept her eyes moving as her original target fell, reduced to a broken ruin by the attacks of her allies. 'These fools are amateurs trying to make the big time by taking on major players' With the hint of a smile on her face she moves closer to the enemy who, strangely enough remained clumped together like sheep. As she brought her Battle Aspergillum to the fore, it starts to wriggle in her hand as if yearning to be free of her grasp. She smiles as she faces her clumped together enemies just ahead of her. MA: Moves to K-13
Reacting swiftly Ninn moves to K17 and begins casting Scorching Ray at E5. She tries to provide support to the lone warrior, who was shouting something at the enemy while attempting to block their advance. MA: to K17
