Who Niho's parents are is not known, as she was found in a pen with normal goblin children by some adventures clearing out a goblin infestation in an old watchtower.
The little girl was named Niho by the group's wizard after she bit him for the dozens time, niho meaning tooth in some old language according to him.
After a long discussion on what to do with remaining little monsters in the pen the group headed back, dropping of the cages at a monastery of sarenrae. The Ranger of the party, a Walter Trend, decided that the adventure life was not for him and to raise the child himself with the words "I managed to train my dog by myself, how much harder can raising a child be?".
Niho grew up to be a healthy young woman, a bit ood at times but mostly free of goblin superstitions(she can read and write, but has a terrible handwriting). She generally preferred the wilds to the city, that she visited with her father from time to time.
With the years Niho and her father didn't miss the winters getting longer and harder each year. Once her father deemed her old enough, she set out on her own adventure following the call of her blood to the north to Irisen.
Niho is a bit small for her age(around 15), but makes up for the lack of size with wiry muscles.
With her big ears she could be mistaken for an unwashed Half-Elf , until she opens her too wide mouth and shows her sharp teeth.
Niho is an active girl, that has trouble sit still for any long periods of time and gets bored easily (except when hunting). She is very direct and dislikes wasting time with formal stuff. She doesn't give her trust easily, but once she considers someone a friend she's loyal to the very end.
Her biggest hobby is cooking (it involves both eating and fire, the cornerstones of goblin society). She is quite a good cook, but unconventional at times. She is always on the lookout for new ingredients.
Niho is a skilled hunter, but unlike her father prefers thrown weapons over bows. She hunts smaller animals using throwing clubs, deer using spears and larger animals using her bare hands and teeth (she likes to take down bears that way, even if her father complains that it's bad for the fur)
