About NichosBackground:
Born on Chiss, Nichos always stood out as different, both in his physical size, but the color of his eyes being rare enough in Chiss hair, but even odder in his eyes; because of this, he always was on the edge of Chiss society, getting taught the knowledge, but missing out on much of the societal interaction. This vantage point, at first seen by him as a disadvantage, soon became apparent to be an advantage, as it allowed him to see things about the society that those in middle of it could/would not. This allowed him to take advantage of the system in ways that others could not. While frowned upon by the others in Chiss society, this proved to be an asset when the Imperial recruiters came around, as it demonstrated skills that the Empire needed, even if they couldn't publicly claim that they needed them. He was put to work as a spy and a slicer, where he showed a knack of not only acquiring information, but other goods as well, so his training took a subtle change that most would not have noticed, but Nichos did. Instead of being a spy, he was now being trained as something more that he never found out precisely what, as the battle over Yavin pretty much took the sails out the Empire as it was understood to be at the time. Since then, Nichos has laid low, feeling out the strengths and weaknesses of each of the contenders to the throne before deciding on which one to support. This has most recently brought him to Kuat. Personality:
Despite being very charismatic and even well trained in the manners of society, he views such things and those who use them with disdain, seeing them as fools who blindly follow something just because they were told it was the correct way by somebody else. He will often mock those people by appearing to practice the exact opposite, though in truth, his personal view is that both extremes, and for that matter, extremes in general, are silly and incompatible with true order. To this end, displaying unproved arrogance or worse, espousing ideas that already proven themselves to be failures, will evoke a sharp reaction from Nichos, and he doesn't care what the immediate circumstances are, either, when he goes off on the unsuspecting victim.
He views the previous Empire as a great vision impaired by the insistence of implementing extremes. In particular, he sees the whole Sith vs Jedi feud and the humancentric focus as being particularly ridiculous ideas that got in the way of the stuff that actually worked. The former he found silly to spend so much energy on some philosophical dispute that most people didn't even know existed, and if they did, they didn't care; the latter was just plain stupid considering the demographical data of the galaxy. The ideas of the rebels and the Republic that came before the Empire to be great in theory, and necessary to keep in consideration, but equally worthless in implementation as they understood them and used them. He still views the Empire as the best overall solution, provided they can get over their hero worship of the now dead emperor, and actually learn from his mistakes. His time working under the empress has proven useful in defining his skills, and he is demonstrating great talent as a spy, which has been put to good use. Game Stats:
