Effortless lace isn't PFS legal, and you can't get the c on a bastard sword. Inspired is +1 equivalent and many investigators will want it.

What a pity!I forgot to check the Effortless lace legal or not.Will the Furious better than Inspired?Since I'm new to investigator,I don't how many uses of inspiration can be left to attack in pfs.

Given the move action required to study a target, you might want to cast a standard action buff or debuff that round, or spend an action moving to a better position rather than shoot just once. It's not a show-stopper, just a change of tactics.

Yes.At low level the studied target doesn't matter.If necessary,I would like to fight without it.

When you say twf with a bastard sword, do you mean two HANDED fighting?

With the alternate racial traits Ancestral Arms,a half-elf can get a Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat which make the bastard sword one-hand weapon and available to two weapon fighting.Besides,Effortless Lace will reduce the twf penalty though it is heavy for low level game.

I think the downside of the sanctified slayer is that you are giving up judgements, which are very flexible; and the studied target is a movement action until level 7.You won't be able to Rapid shot on the same round that you are starting your studied target, whereas Judgements start off as swift actions.

I totally agree with you.The sanctified slayer is weaker than the normal inquisitor at low level,but it will catch at lv5(when Bane become the first choice) and stronger after lv7(SA,more feat,more uses)

Hey all, i'm going to player a new character on pfs. i have some ideas but i don't know which is better. i need your advice to make decision.
All my ideas are about character focusing on combat and covering some useful skills.

First idea:
half-elf twf Empiricist dip ID rager
combat:
bloodrage and mutagen for high str
half elf for bastard sword and fco
Dutiful Strike/Lead Blades（wand,maybe）enlarge the weapon dice of bastard sword and twf make it hurts twice.
skill:
Empiricist and Student of Philosophy trait mean everything

Second idea:
human archer sanctified slayer
combat:
inquisitor is good for archer.
redemption inquisition boost the damage.
spell bane feat and Studied Target make spell hard to save
skill:
inquisitor have 6+int skill point and good list of class skill.
Studied Target and redemption inquisition give some skill bounce.
maybe some spell to boost skill

so,which one do you think is better?which one do you like to be your teammate?

@Starbuck_II Thanks a lot.Crocodile domain seems to grants no AC but familiar. Is there something translate familiar to AC?And it`s a pfs character,so VMC is illegal source.Without playing sneak attack character before,I don`t know whether flanking enemies by familiar is a good idea.Is there another way to make sneak attack？I want AC totally for flanking enemies to make sneak attack.

Hmm...In fact this character is starting at lv2 because it's a pfs character.The build is what my character plan to be.
I'm going to take the animal domain before I notice taking two feat for AC with the rage subdomain is mostly equal to taking two feat for the rage subdomain with the animal domain.And two feat for the rage subdomain is a pretty good deal,isn't it?
If i take the animal domain to get 3 free feat,what feat should i take?i'm absolutely new at pf so i want some advice on it.Thanks a lot.
P.S Does AC archetype Bodyguard useful for my build?

I want to play a human Sanctified Slayer with animal companion,which make me flanking.But my guys told me my build is bad on defense and damage per hit is not good.How can i boost my build up?
