Well, you haven't mentioned the file format of your existing map, so without that important detail, I can only suggest doing a Google Search for a program that will convert from whatever format your existing map is in (i.e. BMP, JPG, PNG) to KMZ.

Example: Suggested Search Syntax

Also (and this is meant to be a helpful tangent), don't use JPG as the format to which you save your maps while you are still in the process of editing them. Unlike BMP, PNG, TIF, and PSD which are "lossless" file types, the JPEG format loses quality each time you re-save it as it is a "lossy" file type. Therefore, it's fine to save a copy into JPG for posting on the web or sharing with others, but always go back to your lossless copy before making edits or adding new features.

Hope this helps, and please forgive the LMGTFY link... it was the best way I could think of to illustrate an effective search string. :)

Alright i have managed to make the globe that i have desired, thank you very much for the help. For anyone who may wish to use this thread in the future, use google earth. For a .jpg image, in the toolbar, there will be a button that says add image overlay. Select that, and next to the type box for the link, select browse, select your image, select "location", set north to (90° 0'0.00"N), Set south to (90° 0'0.00"S), West to (180° 0'0.00"W), and East to (180° 0'0.00"E). If everything goes right, you should have a globe of a custom world for yourself.

You can actually do this with Google Earth. You'll first need to convert your 2D file into .KMZ format, then in Google Earth, you can simply open the KMZ file and see your world on the globe.

FWIW, Fractal Terrains 3 has native support for KMZ exports.

Sorry to bug you again, how do you convert to .KMZ?

Me and my friends have created a custom world. And I was wondering if there were any online service that would turn our Mercator projection map into a globe of the world. Any help is appreciated. thank you

I have a character who wants to be a LN cleric of asmodeus, but wants to use channel positive energy. We figured out maybe having a feat that lets the character do it as a cleric of a lower level, but I was wondering if there are already rules and feats or spells out there a cleric of asmodeus can use to achieve similar effects?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this by core rules or any official documented paizo publication that I am aware of. There is a Feat Called "Versatile Channeler" but this is exclusively for neutral clerics of neutral deities (or no deity). There is nothing to say that he cannot heal people. He just has to prepare healing spells and use them within the realms of asmodean law, for example your friend could not heal people of chaotic good alignment. Also, worship of Asmodeus allows access to the spells "Infernal Healing" and "Greater Infernal Healing". In terms of channel energy the best he could do would be to convert his party to the worship of Asmodeus and then select the "Conversion Channel" feat at thirteenth level (or as early as 9th level if your GM is nice and allows a technicality with a "Phylactery of negative channeling"). IF all else fails you can try to have the entire group be an undead, Asmodeus probably wouldn't have issue with that. But when it comes right down to it, an Asmodean Cleric will never be able to channel positive energy. Hope this helped you.

I am wondering if there are any artists/songs that fit for the countries of Cheliax and Absalom. Supposedly Cheliax gives an aura of oppression and evil, and Absalom is a melting pot. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

nice, and how do I create a poison?

Dang that's more than I could have asked for. Ok so is there a table for npc gear somewhere?

And one last thing how do I determine appropriate EXP to award?

I want to build a villain from the ground up. Where are the rules for this such as determining his EXP value? and how tough to make him? How much equipment to put on him?

For background info on the villain, He is a lich in disguise, (he is either a sorcerer or a wizard) that is going to become a mentor to the PC's. His goal is to literally undo his lichdom. He is going to send them on missions with lots of undead to destroy and old texts with necromantic theory in it. (he is also a librarian).

I plan on having the final showdown (if the PC's decide that they don't want to help him undo it) at level 12. There will be 5 PC's.

Any other info needed just post it.
