Unsure if Yamato(both player and character) are at all interested in the KB/DT aspects of the game, but I very much am. Would I still be able to partake in the year off of downtime to add some stuff to our kingdom, even though I'm an entirely different character? If so, how should calculate how much BP I have for each month? Should I just make a list of what I would like to try and accomplish(either in general, or for each month), and then we can figure which were successful/possible? Also, for my three goals that the old GM asked for(which I think is a great idea): 1) Meet/be introduced to Eranex & Tiressia, along with any other fae in our local area, and befriend them(Short term goal). 2) Create some sort of fae court within our kingdom(long term). 3) Visit and establish ties to Sevenarches, and possibly negotiate allowing elves to return to their former town(long term).

I forget if I ever mentioned it or not, but I have played through the vast majority of the Kingmaker CRPG from Owlcat Games(which, is obviously very different from the actual AP, lol), so I am super well aware of how fey centric KM is. Hence deciding to switch Zarrin to Nem. Zarrin was neat, and kinda a badass, but I really wanted to delve into the fey aspects of the game. Especially since they are a favorite creature type of mine. Also, as an awesome fun fact/FYI: I backed the Legendary Games Forest Compendium kickstarter(the one they did *before* they did the expanded Kingmaker/2e books in conjunction with Paizo) at the tier that lets you make your own country. I also got to have art made, and they used mine for the cover of their Mythic Monsters: Fey book. As for the fact that I might have some issues with summoning fey, that's okay. I'll have plenty of other options, just figured those 3 were so perfect, I couldn't not ask. No worries if ya say no. And yeah, Kingmaker is probably the best AP for Leadership, we gotta popular our kingdom somehow! LOL

I know the original incarnations of this game did not allow 3pp material, but I stumbled across these while lookin for feats for Nem. They're heckin perfect for her, and I have to least ask if I could take em: Also, I think my 7th level feat will be Leadership. My initial(and obvious) thought for my cohort was some sort of fae, but then I was thinkin maybe a normal race, with levels in a class that has some sort of Eldest/Green Faith/Druidic type archetype(s). Thoughts on this?

"Please ta meetcha Elloise! My noble lookin friend there is Christian, the punchy lady is Cenna, and the pretty redhead is Elania. She's kinda awesome!" Nem practically gushes proper introductions. "Oh! Um, I'm not sure who the grim lookin sword guy is. He's new." I have decided Nem's personality/voice will be heavily Harley Quinn inspired. Especially from the HBO cartoon. Be warned, lol

GM, how does the local area look atm? Are the fires all out? Nem has some spells that could help here, like Create Water and Plant Growth. She would know if casting them would be useful or not. Nem smiles warmly at the offer from the Dryad. "Ya know, we really shouldn't accept gifts from strangers. I'm Nem, what's your name?" She inquires in a bit of a playful tone, while looking around the grove.

Nem fully understands what has unfortunately happened to Dahphnaie. She gives the weeping, grieving Dryad time to slowly calm down before telling her what happened. "Your sister did find help. Us. She brought us here. Sadly, she did not make it back through the portal before the loss of her tree took her too. I'm truly sorry. I know the bond you two shared."

"I do!" Comes a hyper enthusiastic reply from the rainbow haired gnome. She quickly scrambles down off the ledge, and makes her way over to the group. "However, most dryads and unicorns speak and understand the common tongue." She informs Cenna in a more calm, reserved tone. "Shhh. Relax. We aren't a threat, promise. I know, you're scared and hurt, but we're here to help." Nem says in a soothing voice. "Was this your tree?" She asks the dryad. 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (4) + 25 = 29 Diplomacy Feyspeakers learn Sylvan as a bonus language, so that can be in either Common or Sylvan.

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 Fort save Would this count as something that Resist Fiendish Influence would affect(doubtful, but wanted to double check): Resist Fiendish Influence:
Resist Fiendish Influence (Ex): At 4th level, a halcyon druid gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like and supernatural abilities of outsiders with the evil subtype and spells with the evil descriptor. This ability replaces resist nature’s lure. Nem flinches slightly when the bolt hits her arm. "Ow. Rude." She says, then launches a quartet of force bolts at the offender. Casting Magic Missile 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 SR check (do I need to roll separately for each missile?) for 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 1) + 4 = 12 force

When she sees Christian cleave one of the spriggans in twain she quips. "That's what ya get for insulting his mother!" She then causes a trio of flames to erupt beneath three of their foes. Casting Flashfire for 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 fire. Ref DC(18) to negate and avoid catching on fire. Targeting orange, blue, and red. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 red SR check, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 blue SR check, 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 orange SR check Unsure if SR actually applies, as it always confuses me when it says SR: Yes(object)...

Unsure if I can start out with them via my starting gold, but if not, I would love to somehow acquire the Robe of the Faerie Queen and the Vest of Golden Leaves

Unsure if the squares are 5ft or 10. I'm going to cast Holy Smite in the middle of the spriggans. If they are 5ft squares, I'd like to try and hit all four(including yellow and blue). If they are 10ft squares, I don't think I can hit red, purple, and yellow. If not, I'll place it so it can hit red, purple, and blue. Nem raises her staff, and shouts "By The Eldest, leave them alone!" and blasts the spriggans with an explosion of gold and white holy power. Spontaneously casting Holy Smite for 4d8 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 2) = 11 or 7d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 4, 6, 3, 2) = 28 if they are evil outsiders(unsure if the Blight alters them at all that way). They are also blinded for 1 round. A Will save(DC 19) halves and the damage, and negates the blind.

Play whatever is gonna make you happy. You still have 2d6 for channel energy, can still prepare healing spells if needed, and if necessary, you can always select Focused Class Feature(Channel Energy) as a Credence if it seems like we're really lacking. Which, is probably unlikely, all things considered. With both you and Yamato, we currently have 6d6 healing via channel energy, plus any normal spells and magic items. We should be good. |
