Well when a guild falls apart, a new guild will move in or there settlement will eventually fall apart.

Kinda like real life :).

Not a fan of cash shops. Prefer to pay a monthly fee and get all the content.

But that said cash shops should in no way effect game-play and should be purely cosmetic.

I really hope Golbin works doesn't get involved with SOE. There track record isn't great...

They ruined star wars galaxies and Planetside 2 is just a Battlefield clone. Also all the other fail games they have made ie EQ2, Vanguard.

Bad things happen when SOE are behind a game. Its like there cursed.

I'm looking forward to DF unholy wars.

For:

1. Full loot: Nothing quite like it, if you like demon souls or dark souls then this is the system for you as it makes surviving really gratifying and killing other players rewarding as you get there gear! (note getting a basic set in DF wasnt hard)

2. PVP: The battles were huge when the game first launched. Yes there were some problems, but if you got past that (normally by disabling the sound lol) the fights were amazing and epic

3. Huge world. I did like DF's world, the only thing that sucked was the PVE was bad. Not sure how it will be in the reboot.

4. Alot of freedom but not alot of sand.

Pathfinder online:

1. The sandbox experience: I loved SWG and I feel pathfinder will be somewhat Similar to it. Owning a house, building a city, harvesting etc.

2. Exploration: What i'm really hoping for is a land I can constantly explore.

3. Enjoyable PVE and PVP.

4. Fun crafting system (Hopefully like SWG's)

5. The eve mechanic's they want to bring into pathfinder. I think thats awesome.

I really hope DF unholy wars fixes the mistakes they made in the first one. But I feel pathfinder will have more of the sandboxy type things I want from a game.

In war and in player driven games, the real decisions are taken before the first stroke is blown. This makes the actual fights seem sometimes anti-climactic.

I never played SW:G but I would like to hear more. Why did it fail after the patch?

In swg you could get competitive pvp gear for fairly cheap, also you could get great Damage over time weapons and legendary/good weapons from PVE though they were quite rare.

Also the best traders were often neutral suppling both sides with gear.

It failed because they tried to change it into wow. Went from about 32 classes to 8 with lackluster combat.

Ryan said he wanted 4 to 4.5k in on the first run. That amount covers all backers nicely. I'd be amazed if the backers weren't the first group tapped to beta or play.

Yea I can imagine the backers will get some sort of priority for beta or launch.
