While preparing that book i ran into problems with map E.

According to map these are supposed to be 5ft squares but this makes the map very cramped.
Is this an error and these are in reality 10ft squares?

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I'm just getting to the planning stages here and I have to agree. ESPECIALLY with E30, which is supposed to be a boss fight. This room is the worst part. How am I supposed to have this battle (especially with a party of 6)?

The rest of the map seems manageable. I'm either going to have to convert this one room to 10 ft squares or use an entirely different map. Extra sad, because when you compare E30 to the art of this cool open set-piece in a large cavernous room seen on page 37, I had to do a double take.

It is kinda lame how much less emphasis Starfinder puts on gods than Pathfinder .-. Like I get the logic, but gods are 100% known to exist so you'd think they would feel less niche in the world outside of Abadarcorp or Sarenites in the sun

Ethics and philosophy change with our understanding of the universe. Their definitive existence in the setting serves to weaken their position, if anything.

Why does raw power entitle them to different treatment than other sentients?
Why should we worship an existent and thus flawed and fallible entity?
Can we trust them and their agents as more dogma begins to rub up against science?

My philosophy is that technology is actually the largest factor. There are more distractions in life and -generally- an improved quality of living. Basically, you don't have farmers praying for rain for their crops since you have irrigation or mass produced food. You don't need mystical healing when there is advanced medicine and clinics. So yes, of course people think of the gods less since they don't feel reliant on them.

In my head-cannon, it's more likely that the gods in Starfinder would be for people that seek spiritual meaning and purpose. Or they are desperate for some reason, or have reasons that lead to extremist points of view.

So, I noticed the art for the verthani in Alien Archives and those presented in Penumbra protocol are wildly different. In PP, they look pretty much human, versus the AA where they are very lanky with huge black eyes. Is there a reason for this?

Any cool lore things that you're seeing?
I personally like the list of Manufacturers, beginning on page 55.

This excites me to an unreasonable degree.

Quick question, when a PC is hacking a computer that has a countermeasure, do they know that it has a countermeasure automatically or is there a way to detect if it has a countermeasure on it?
