I think that used to be the rule. HMM said that now the only time you can get credit applied to a character while it's in a game is Campaign mode or GM credit. I think they did it to prevent the situation where you die or gain a condition as the pregen but the character is in an adventure. They thought resolving it was tricky or something. Also to prevent power leveling probably.

thanks, GM, that was fun. However, I had my -703 character in a game while we played, so it sounds like I need to apply this to my -705 character instead. Just leave the name and faction fields blank; that character doesn't exist yet

"Remember those pirates from before? Their sister came and tracked us down. She boarded us and then we were caught in this storm and our ships fused together. They were really angry and wouldn't be nufriends, but after we beat them up a few times they decided that nufriends sounded nicer and we all left the planet together." Nako explains.

"Works for me! I'm so glad you finally decided to be our friends! It's much more fun than fighting each other."

"Do you trust her?" Nako's not sure, but she'll trust the judgment of the others.

"Are nufriends are back. But they don't look very nufriendly. Aba, Gaz, can you talk them into being happy together with us?"

Nako says as she makes her way back to the gangplank and draws her weapons, just in case.

I'm assuming whenever the captain attacks 'dako' you really mean 'nako'

Nako strikes out twice with her doshko. She starts by targeting the robot and then, if it goes down, strikes at the captain. Then she suddenly steps beside the captain!

Between packing tonight, traveling, and doing con related things, I will be busy with GenCon from now until Sunday. I don't expect to be caught up to speed until Monday or Tuesday.
