I see in some very old forum posts that most errata for core books is supposed to find it's way into the PDF versions as new print runs are performed on printed materials. I spent some time re-downloading items from my library and did a quick audit of the Player Core and GM core... I am seeing zero changes included from the official errata list on the copy in my downloads folder. I was curious if this is a technical issue I should take up with customer support or if this is a known "We don't do that here" thing (as in, errata does not find its way into PDF versions). I am starting up a campaign with a known Rules Lawyer and I am going to have to print out the lists of errata to reference live if I cannot get them incorporated into my PDFs. I suppose I could take the time to manually edit the PDFs or slap digital sticky notes in there, but if the work has already been done for me...
Figured it out. It was actually the "I can't add anything to my cart" bug. No matter what page I went to it wasn't showing the products along the top, just the long "subscription" blurb and the sub items below that. Logging out and logging back in let me add stuff to my cart, and revealed all the products at the top of the page. Weird bug. I retract my statement about the store blowing. Pazio can't really be blamed for me not realizing it was a bug.
1) I love Pazio's products! Thanks for making magnificent RPG products! 2) The store really blows. It is not intuitive and information has to be dug out of it. Where are the PF 2e adventure paths in the store? I see two links for subscriptions, nothing else. The store alludes to 156 other items. I'm not seeing any extra information, am I being forced into a subscription? Are they only for sale in stores? Help! I really want to throw money at Pazio... but they are making it difficult to do so...

House rule it, bro! Me personally, i don’t want to see the ability in the core rules, but that’s the beauty of tabletop; you can framework up some dc20 to hack and an additional dc40 check for your root access at your table. GM fiat!
It is really weird. I just googled looking for opinions on strength vs fortitude. I get that they tried to get rid of contested rolls... but they don’t seem to match up in this regard. Unless, they’ve (Paizo) crunched all the numbers and opponents are statistically likely to have a fort similar to what their ‘vs str’ would have been. Other people’s opinions? |
