Sadly, I believe this game has died, despite the sudden awesome twist. I'm still open to playing, but unless the GM comes back or a new one takes over, I'll be out. PM me if anything changes, as I'll be removing this from my dash.

At the moment, Luke is still hanging from the cave with one arm missing and in the middle of a painful scream.

:o
Hope you get better! I'm out of spells at the moment!

Alright, then, since charge is a standard action:
Swift to draw the lightsaber...
Move action to move half the distance...
Standard action to use Powerful Charge and move the rest of the distance to the beast and swing.

No!

With a flash of sudden light, Myralda's lightsaber is in her hand as she whips around the corner past Holliday.

If the pair are a little bit away, Myralda will use Surge to increase her speed and reach them. Otherwise, she'll charge in and swing at the creature.
UtF Surge if needed: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (16) + 17 = 33
Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
Damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 2) + 7 = 15
Free action (if needed): Surge
Swift Action: Draw lightsaber
Move & Attack: Charge

Myralda head in quietly with 51. Hmm, I'll need to learn their names soon. I hate referring to their numbers, Myralda thinks to herself. Myralda walks steadily, her vision unobscured so far. She waits behind him as he goes for a visual, ready to draw her lightsaber if needed.

"We have no permenant shelter, replenishable supplies, or allies," Myralda says quietly. "Let's approach with a peaceful mindset, though we should be prepared. We don't know what kind of creatures may live out in this weather. Go ahead and light the glow-rod."

Myralda holds up a hand. "Two lifeforms, not too far in. Not sure if they're hostile or even intelligent, but they're not droids."

Force Vision Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29
Miraluka sees "see" in the dark like normal with Force Vision. Does she see what they are?

Myralda nods at the troopers' assessments. "I agree. Let's check out the cave and see if we can't locate someone else on this rock." Pulling her cloak close, she walks out into the snow, pausing for a moment to adjust to the colder air.

Myralda stops moving for a while, taking in what just happened. The...past...yet so old. What...what was that? She rubs her arms, suddenly feeling a very different chill. She felt all those deaths, all over again. But what had happened in the Force?

Yet more questions to put on the back burner, though she instictively pulled back from the Force some. Too much death. Hopefully they could leave soon. Despite just getting up, she felt like she needed a rest.

Myralda collects her gear, preparing to head out as she waits for the report.

"Yes, that will do for now. But if you insist on titles, I am a Commander,"[b] Myralda replies. [B]"Let us set up my comlink to yours before you go." Myralda pulls her sleeve to reveal the comlink wrapped around her forearm. With a touch, it comes to life.

Right you are, despite 0 military experience.

Myralda pauses as she sees a small part of the now shattered buzz droid. That had to have gained entry or been stowed, somehow. But was it alone?

"Do we know how this thing got on board? Was it stowed, and if so, where? It might not have been the only surprise."

Use the Force to Sense Surroundings and ignore cover to see if these remains is the only buzz droid on board.

Casulties. How often had that very word been spoken around her for the last three years. Casulties, a fancy word to make death seem more of a statistic and less of loss. A way to try to dance around the obvious, the blatant. A word for those who wanted to circumvent any sense of guilt or pain. A word she had come to hate.

Vika's words come back to her, as though her master is whispering right into her ear. Emotion, yet peace. Death, yet the Force. Myralda takes a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself. You are the leader, Myralda. You need to lead these people, your people, out of here.

"Troopers. I want you to find what gear is salvageble from our dead, and collect what resources we have left. Leave each man his blaster, though. If any of you have any medical expertise in biology, check these men and find out if this...frozen state of theirs is natural. It is quite cold here, but enough to freeze them and not us? I fear there may have been even more behind this crash.

"F1, please keep a look-out for anything approaching and assess the conditions outside to see if your parts can handle such weather for an extended period. We do not know how long we'll be trekking.

"Rima, please help me arrange these men in a more...honored way than this horrific scene. We can do nothing more for them, but at least we can lay them with their brothers beside them and their blasters in their hand. We can show them no less honor for their service."

With this, Myralda forces herself to start the task, not caring about the wasted time. She arranges the troops so that they are lying on their back, their blaster in their right hand and across their chest. Finally, she removes each helmet and places it on top of the gun, the now customary funeral for a trooper when a grave could not be made.

These were not casulties, Myralda thinks. This...this is murder. And I will never forget that it is we that force them to put their lives at risk.

Got it.

Myralda gently touches the skin of one trooper, just to verify what she feels in the Force. Frozen? It couldn't have been that cold in their armor, could it? How long were we out, and how did we survive?

Myralda winces as the frigid air blows in with the snow. Myralda was sure there was no snow on the gas giant Bespin. Where were they? "Rima. How's the ship's condition? Is anything operating?" Myralda asks, pulling her hood over her head. "Communications, coordinates, or emergency power?"

As she talks, she checks the ship for any of the stored supplies to see if any of it made it through. Anything, really, to get her mind away from...well...

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

Myralda is calming herself through meditation when she first feels the life begin to fade. Her eyes snap open as the ship shakes violently. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

The next few moments fly by quickly for her as she begins to see the an almost replay of the situation that stole her master from her. Her body enters into a cold sweat as the death count increases.

No, not now, not my men, Myralda thinks, trying to unstrap herself. The violent crash stops her attempts as her vision fades out.

...Where...where am I? Myralda wonders, feeling hurt all over as she comes to.

The crash! Myralda darts up, only for the restraints that had kept her safe to stop her. Drawing her lightsaber, she slashes through them quickly and jumps up. The hum of her yellow lightsaber is the only sound for a moment, until the droid's systems begin to whirl.

"I am alright, but I fear most did not make it," Myralda says slowly in response to the droid's question.

Slowly and methodically, Myralda checks each trooper, searching for any traces of life. She shivers, but doesn't know if its from the cold temperature or all the death surrounding her. Pulling her robe closer to her body, Myralda continues, mentally repeating the Code to herself as a calming method, not completely trusting herself to be fully in control at the moment.

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

Myralda heads to the transport once she sees that supplies are taken care of. Strapping in early, Myralda relaxes herself and silently recites the Code.

Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.

Myralda repeats the last line to herself as she waits for the rest, half-listening as Rima speaks to the pilot.

"Thank you for the information. We will be sure to accomplish our mission, Captain Ralen, Master Elasra," Myralda says, making a small bow. Myralda wonders whether to speak to Master Elasra of Vika, as she knows they knew each other, but decides not to. Most did not like her attachment to her old master, and she did not know if he would also disapprove. Best to stay silent.

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

Myralda nods at her assignment of command. She had expected it, though she knew she would end up relying on the clone's military knowledge like always. She still remembers when the losses the GAR took when they first instilled the peaceful Jedi as military leaders. Did not end well for many.

When the Zeltron speaks to her, Myralda smiles. A non-clone answer. Well, maybe it was a good thing to have someone who isn't all protocol along every once in a while.

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

"I will be able to handle capturing this commander alive once we reach him," Myralda says, finally speaking up.

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

Myralda mentally checks off that these are true ARC Troopers. Blunt, direct, and arrogant. But then again, they had every right to be. She had seen a few in action, even a null ARC one time. They often accomplished feats even a Jedi Master would be hard pressed to do with the Force. She didn't prefer to work with them all the same, because their mercenary mindset from Jango often went directly against the Jedi traditions.

And how does this Zeltron fit into this mission? Myralda wondered. Again, she stays silent for the moment, taking note of the emotions of the others in the Force

Female Miraluka (Jedi) | hp 116/116, Force Uses 20/20 | Init 7, Per 17 | Fort 22, Ref 23, Will 23 | Lightsaber +12 (2d8+3), Powerful Charge Lightsaber +16 (2d8+7), Redirected Shot: +11 (weapon's damage)

Myralda stays silent as she senses the other gathered members. She has her hood pulled back, revealing her apparent human appearance with long brown hair in a thick braid. However, her eyes are covered, as she is not a human, but a miraluka.

She is quite surprised at the team of troops gathered. Three ARC Troopers and a team of commandos? This will be a tough mission, Myralda determines.

Myralda here and accounted for, sir. Excited to see the Trooper party here as well.

Avatar, this was the closest I could find to a female Miraluka. :P Did find an almost perfect male one, though.

Myralda is updated and ready.

Chips and Conditioning:
Actually, both the novels and the show are correct, as they refer to different types of troopers: Regular Clone Troopers and then special forces, such as ARC Troopers and Commandos.

Regular clones at birth were impanted with chips, both the original batch, and later batches. In the Clone Wars shows, this is seen when a 'new' trooper later 'malfunctions' and the chip is seen. These were to force troopers to obey any command. However, these grew with birth and connected to the brain so well, that a trooper saw no ill-logic in what they were doing...when done right.

Later on, troopers were rushed out to the frontlines, making training incomplete. With the growth cycle greatly increased in speed to get them ready, the chips could not mutate as well to grow with the individual, sometimes giving off 'errors' and 'malfunctions', such as seen in the Clone Wars episodes. The chips were like a conditioning in and of themselves, setting themselves up as sort of the HQ of the brain. With the faster growth speed of troopers, it failed this and sometimes became more of a 'brainwashing invader'. However, the majority of clones still followed Order 66, even if most of the new ones do not recall why or how.

Of course, ARC Troopers, as has been said, were given much more independence and decision making abilities, and such chips were not implanted to make sure they could operate to the fullest of their abilities. They were as free-willed as most normal beings. Commandos also forgoed the chip, instead just receiving normal 'conditioning' from their trainers so that they could operate to the fullest of their abilities.

So the first clones were conditioned by having chips from birth with a regular time cycle, the rest were were raised too fast to have the chip take full effect, and special forces, such as the ARC troopers and Commandos, were left to the devices of Jango Fett their Mandolarian trainers, respectivefully.

On Commando Novels:
I loved those novels, and hated how it ended, even if I expected it.

Alright. Myralda is now updated to the new system.

So, does the feat becomes static in the number of uses available when you take it, or does the number of uses scale with level as well (1/2 per level)?

It scales with level for number of uses, but is static in the number of powers learned per acquisition of the Force Training Feat.

At First Level, with a +2 WIS Modifier, and the Force Training Feat, you would get 3 Force Powers, and 3 uses of said Powers (you can still spend a Force Point to return one use to your Suite).

At Sixth Level, with that same +2 WIS Modifier and no new powers taken, you'd still have 3 Force Powers, but you'd have (6/3 =2 + 2 = 4) 4 uses of your Force Powers.

So here's the math for # of uses again:

Start Feat - 2 from Wis, 1 from level
Racial Feat - 2 from Wis, 1 from level
6th level - Feat - 3 from Wis, 3 from level
7th level - Feat - 3 from Wis, 3 from level

However, as the uses gained from each feat scales with level, I get 4 base uses at each plus Wis, so it becomes this at 8th level:

Start Feat - 2 from Wis, 4 from level
Racial Feat - 2 from Wis, 4 from level
6th level - Feat - 3 from Wis, 4 from level
7th level - Feat - 3 from Wis, 4 from level

This is where I'm getting confused.

The way I'm understanding it right now is:
1. # of powers gained when the feat is taken is 1/2 level (min 1) + Wis modifier
2. # of uses gained when the feat is taken is 1/2 level (min 1) + Wis modifier
3. # of current powers increases only when Wis modifier increases, or the feat is taken again.
4. # of current uses increases only when reaching an even Level, or the feat is taken again.

Again: I'm good with whatever way it is, just wanting to make sure I'm doing it right. :)

So I would have 26 uses?

Start Feat - 2 Wis + 1/2 Current Lv
Racial Feat - 2 Wis + 1/2 Current Lv
Level 6 - 3 Wis + 1/2 Current Lv
Level 7 - 3 Wis + 1/2 Current Lv
10 + 4x4
26?

Also, I that alternate version might work well at certain points as an rp option I wanted to try with Myralda if she got chosen. Her sensitivity to death in the force might weaken her grasp temporarily when a chosen amount of organic beings die within a certain range of her.

Alrighty. I'll be able to change Myralda once I get home myself. Just wanted all bases checked so I didn't mess up. I am a little excited at all the new powers I'll get. Let's see...9 new powers for a total of 20 (with the new starting feat added, and removing duplicates), with a total of...28 uses of known powers.

Check my math if you would, jemstone, to see if I got this down right:

# of Powers
Start Feat - 4 (1 min lv, 3 Wis)
Racial Feat - 4 (1 min lv, 3 Wis)
Level 6 - 6 (3 from lv, 3 Wis)
Level 7 - 6 (3 from lv, 3 Wis)
Total # of Powers - 20

Uses
4 Feats - 7 each (4 from lv, 3 Wis)
Total Uses of Powers - 28

One last question: Does the number of powers you're able to select from grow as your wisdom score increases, like the original feat, or just the number of uses only?

Once I know that I'll be able to change Myralda to fit this method.

So, does the feat becomes static in the number of uses available when you take it, or does the number of uses scale with level as well (1/2 per level)?

And you can use any power allowed until you reached that, rather than from a selection? It's like the wizard is becoming spontaneous. Seems a little OP, but I won't complain if we go this route.

What would a 'session' be then, and what about selecting Force Training multiple times?

As for connections and the trooper team, Myralda has just recently been put over a few special tasks missions afer her master died. Maybe she headed them up before?

I'm down with that.

Ah, got it now.

Question for Rhal: What continuity will we be using and to what extent? (I.E. Lucas Arts or Disney? Strict adherence or loosely followed? Will we somehow be able to, say, happen upon Luke, make him have an accident, and end up letting the Empire remain fully in contol?)

...That last one is a joke, but I am interested in seeing the answer now that I've written it.

I LOVE the Citadel, but I know others like customization. We'll be able to afford a used one, but it might be close for a new, though if we can afford it, I'd vote to spring for one. Plus, this is the exact timing in which the Citadel was in its major use, so its easily avaliable.

Jaynt - Thank you for the reminder. As for helping, I know only one Jedi player gets picked, and while I'd prefer only playing a Jedi, I'm okay with helping out others and knowing if they get picked I get left out. I'll be good. :)

Jace - I'm sure Joynt just wanted to make sure we understood that there was only one Jedi allowed, so we would not end up angry finding out later, and not trying to tell you not to make the character. Either of us would have a better chance with a non-Jedi (5/6), but it's was just a reminder.

We might be using the same excel program. I'll check the name when I get home. However, it will be tricky making sure you get character feats at each odd level, rather than Saga's feat levels. Also, your background mentions being Order 66, which has not happened yet in this campaign.

I use some excel sheet thing to build it that I found somewhere years ago. There is no straight conversion of points from Pathfinder to Saga, but you will end up with in the mid 30's in Saga.

Looking over ship mods, if we went with the YT-1300, we could probably afford something like this:

YT 1,300 Transport - 100,000 Base, 10p spend
Combat Thrusters - 1p - 10,000
Shields 55 - 3p - 30,000
Laser Cannon, Medium (x2) - 2p - 8,000

Total - 148,000 - 4p left

Shields for safety, combat thrusters for the ace pilot, and weapons for all PC's to have something to use.
