To be brutally honest I think that it's likely the best option to call the game... it's either that or almost take stock and soft reset with potentially different characters entirely. FWIW I'd likely back out at this point primarily from the AP perspective as I haven't found it anywhere near as engaging as I'd hoped it would be.

I know opinions have differed on the setup and what not - but I've yet to get any tangible IC or OOC 'traction' with the goals of the AP. Maybe this is a slow-burner where it comes in strong later, but it's not worked for me.

FWIW - as laid out previously, I did find Jacob's initial entry with Tariq intruding... and I'd have to be honest to say that the brouhaha from that has colored my opinion and enjoyment moving forwards. That said I think this is important to keep in mind:

Mus'ad's only 55-60% chasing it because he's down 4 wisdom at present (so back to 'normal average') and it bit him. Natural response to seek a bit of percussive revenge... even if like 99% of the inhabitants of the AP he can't hurt them due to some sort of hardness / DR :P

What's Mus'ad's final Wis damage? - he had 2 ea in Rounds 12 and 13, so is at 4 at the moment.

Just as a side note - suggestion would not compel Myron to pour out his alchemist's fire.

As per PRD: Asking the creature to do some obviously harmful act automatically negates the effect of the spell.

I think pouring liquid fire on the ground is obvious nei?

With both hands engaged - one with a shield and the other with a hammer, Mus'ad is rightfully nonplussed at Pherenike's suggestion. Chewing cud as the pahmet considers the statement, he settles for attempting to knock the vial out of Myron's hands - rather than see himself disarmed...

Teeth gritted as the cry of the floating heads cuts through his skull, the pahmet is nonetheless unbowed. Noticing the ones behind him stiffen, he moves to take guard near them... grim of jaw and hammer ready.

Mus'ad offers a simple "Yes, and No" to Myron's question before slightly expanding "Not right to rob cat of a normal death."

He then moves to the Western door, giving it a check for traps before seeking approval to breach.

The way that the AP presents the wealth is a bit gauche as well. Funerary masks, mummified cats, jewels encrusted into sarcophagus lids that need to be pried out... I'm surprised it doesn't have a You spy a fleck of gold in the interred body's mouth. Would you like to pry the gold teeth out of the jaw of the honored dead?

If it was a few sacks of gold in the corner, or trade goods or the like - it'd sit a mite better.

Mus'ad's eyes flash angry as Elrisiel explains what the mummified cat was. He growls a response "It's a cat that's been used by bastards and savages... and it's getting a proper burial." making to carry the small body outside and towards where he can find earth for digging.

With a degree of reverence, Mus'ad stows his hammer and slings his shield across a shoulder. Stepping forward he reaches into the sarcophagus and looks to gently remove the mummified cat...

Mus'ad feels the induced terror break and wash over him like a wave... but remains in place, fixated upon the mummified cat.

Mus'ad leaves it to another to heft the sarcophagus open, and stands ready with hammer and shield.

Grimacing at the confines of the tomb, Mus'ad wonders if the Pharasmites really understood what they were getting themselves into. To send out the sort of explorers that would think little of prising each and every gemstone set in the sarcophagus' face for profit. He looks to the heiroglyphs before turning expectantly to those of academic bent... waiting to see if they are able to decipher their meanings.

Mus'ad carefully moves forward with shield and hammer to hand, having stowed his axe.

Moving to the fallen creature, Mus'ad puts his foot on it's back to wrench free his axe... managing to do so but unfortunately losing his balance as his boot adheres to the dead one. He collapses in a heap of dwarvish expletives.
