In combat, Muriel can engage her hunted prey from up to 200ft away with her longbow. Within her longbow's volley range she can engage at range using her returning starknife up to 40ft away.
Or she can engage in melee with her starknife and any of the other agile weapons in her arsenal; typically her other star knife (for damage focus) or the main gauche so she can parry or disarm.
She is also skilled at skirmish tactics; hiding in underbrush to make foes flat-footed before she strikes at them.
Against more deadly foes she will adopt hit and run tactics; either moving in close and doing a twin takedown before pulling back, or engaging from range if the target has too much reach or attacks opportunity.

Wayfinder (slotless) (2 fame)
To guide your path, your faction has secured a wayfinder (Pathfinder Core Rulebook 617) for you to carry on your journeys and serve as a badge of office in the Pathfinder Society. This wayfinder has an effective sale price of 0 gp.
Consummate Dabbler (slotless) (0 fame)
It’s not enough to simply see the world; you’re driven to experience local cultures’ unfamiliar customs, too. When you play a Pathfinder Adventure Card Society scenario or a Starfinder Society scenario, you earn 2 additional Fame and Reputation with the Horizon Hunters faction on the next scenario you play.
Special You can benefit from this boon only a number of times equal to your current Reputation Tier with the Horizon Hunters faction. Each time you fulfill the requirements of this boon, mark it on your Chronicle sheet along with the associated Reputation Tier. Have the GM sign beside this notation. You can only earn additional Fame and Reputation with this boon for one character per scenario played, even if you have multiple characters who could benefit from this boon.
Mentor, Rugged (mentor, social) (2 fame)
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide important insights that keep your less experienced colleagues safe from harm. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to saving throws to 2.
Normal A Level Bump increases a PC’s saving throw modifiers by 1.
Special A PC can only benefit from two mentor boons.
Faction/ACP boons:
Wayfinder, Rugged (Horizon Hunters) Prerequisites Liked by Horizon Hunters
You have modified your wayfinder to absorb a small amount of your exhaustion, allowing you to continue exploring unhindered. When you purchase this boon, you apply its benefits to one wayfinder in your possession, granting you a special ability when the wayfinder is invested and in your possession.
As an action, you can reduce the severity of your clumsy, enfeebled, or sickened condition, reducing that condition’s value by 1.
You can safely use this benefit once per adventure. You can attempt to use it a second time, overcharging the wayfinder at the risk of destroying it. When you do so, roll a DC 10 flat check. On a success, the wayfinder is broken. On a failure, the wayfinder is destroyed. If anyone tries to overcharge a wayfinder that’s already been overcharged, the item is automatically destroyed (even if it has been repaired) and does not provide the activated benefit.
Special You can apply multiple upgrades to a single wayfinder. Each upgrade only affects one wayfinder in your possession, chosen when the boon is purchased. If a wayfinder has multiple upgrades on it, you can only safely use each ability once per scenario.
If the wayfinder with this upgrade is destroyed, you can apply the upgrade to another wayfinder during Downtime for no additional cost beyond that of the wayfinder itself.
Storied Talent (Horizon Hunters) Prerequisites Liked by Horizon Hunters
Word of your skill and expertise is spreading, and you find that increasingly prestigious clients are prepared to pay for your services. When using Downtime to Earn Income, you can choose to attempt a task of your level.
Normal When Earning Income, a PC can attempt a task of their level –2 or lower.
Heroic Hustle (Horizon Hunters) Prerequisites Admired by Horizon Hunters
In moments of true heroism, you can always move to where the action is. When you spend a Hero Point to reroll a check, you also gain a +10-foot status bonus to your Speed until the end of your next turn. After you spend a Hero Point to avoid death, you can also Stand as a free action when you next become conscious.
Hireling
You have recruited a non-combat hireling who can assist you with a certain set of skill checks. This ally performs the selected skills with a total modifier equal to 2 + your level, and they are considered trained in the skills. You must expend any actions and be in range to perform the action yourself, and any consequences of these actions affect you (such as falling when using Athletics to Climb).
The hireling doesn’t have or use its own ability modifiers and can never benefit from item bonuses, status bonuses, or fortune effects. Abilities that grant you a circumstance bonus do not grant that circumstance bonus to your hireling even though you are using your action to attempt the check. You cannot aid your own hireling.
You cannot use the hirelings skills except recall knowledge in combat, and the hireling cannot be affected by, or affect combat, and cannot be harmed unless willfully endangered, and has no effect other than performing the selected skill checks.
When you purchase this boon, you select one skill as well as one Lore skill. The hireling can perform only these skills checks.
Special You can purchase this boon multiple times, but may only benefit from one hireling boon on any given adventure.
Hireling, Expert Prerequisites Liked by any Faction
When you gain this boon, select one Hireling boon you possess. The selected ally’s proficiency for their selected skills improves to expert, and their modifier to skill checks increases to 4 + your level.
Special You can purchase this boon multiple times to the same character. Each time you purchase this boon, you must apply its benefits to a different Hireling boon.
Esoteric Spellcaster—Core (protection)
As a Pathfinder, you periodically come across esoteric magic that is unfamiliar to most other spellcasters. Select one of the uncommon spells from the Pathfinder Core Rulebook listed below when you assign this boon to the character. You have access to the spell, allowing you to learn the spell, prepare it, or add it to your spellbook (as appropriate).
You can assign multiple copies of this boon to a character, each time selecting a different spell.
Spell Options: circle of protection, discern lies, drop dead, ethereal jaunt, false vision, globe of invulnerability, hallucinatory terrain, locate, magic aura, mind blank, mind reading, nondetection, power word blind, power word kill, power word stun, protection, spell turning, stone tell, or undetectable alignment
CHRONICLES
1. PFS(2) 1-01: Absalom Initiation:
Head Initiate Janira Gavix invited you to a party to celebrate the latest group of initiates to formally join the Pathfinder Society. The party's attendees included many high-profile members and associates of the society, including many of its current and former faction leaders. But the party was more that just a chance to socialize; several faction leaders were looking to assign simple missions to new agents. After the celebration, you explored an abandoned ship where you pacified a strange fleshforged creature, searched a haunted house where you found signs of grave misdeeds in the past, investigated a ritual being conducted in the Blakros museum and recruited the ritual's inquisitive caster, and un-petrified someone who had been frozen in stone.
Engraved Wayfinder (Slotless): To celebrate your success as a Pathfinder agent, Janira gave you a compass lid engraved with your name and a Glyph of the Open Road, symbol of the Pathfinder Society. You can attach this lid to any compass, including a wayfinder, to personalize it.
USED Society Connections (Downtime): Your connections with leaders within the Pathfinder Society help you find opportunities, both new missions and support for your other endeavors. Check the box that precedes this boon when you Earn Income during Downtime to attempt a task of level 3. If you critically fail the check, you still earn the result of a failure for that task.

2. PFS(2) The Fall of Plaguestone:
Accompanying a dwarven merchant, you delved into the twisted skeins of a deadly plot seeking to devastate all the residents of the town known to outsiders as Plaguestone. Disease, poison, and corrupted wildlife all sought to block your progress and add you to the list of victims already claimed, including your dwarven compatriot.
□ Fiery Companion (Limited-Use, Slotless): You have befriended a unique animal augmented by alchemical experiments. If you have an animal companion, you can check the box that precedes this boon between adventures to replace it with the fiery leopard (Pathfnder Adventures: The Fall of Plaguestone 57). You may also transfer this boon to one of your other characters who has an animal companion, immediately checking the box on this boon and replacing that character’s existing companion with the fiery leopard; keep a copy of this Chronicle with that character.
□ Noala’s Lessons (Slotless): In gratitude for your help, the ranger Noala is willing to teach you several of her carefully honed techniques. You gain access to either the ranger feat Relentless Stalker (Pathfinder Adventures: The Fall of Plaguestone 57) or the skill feat Wilderness Spotter (The Fall of Plaguestone 57). Once you have taken one of these feats, check the box next to this boon and cross the other one out.

3. PFS(2) AP-145: Hellknight Hill:

[spoiler=5. PFS(2) Q5: The Dragon Who Stole Evoking Day]
It's unclear whether the aged drake or the detonating bags of fireworks were the most dangerous part of this mission, but it's the fireworks that came home with you. Hopefully your efforts also helped Amenopheus maintain his favored status in the Ruby Prince's court.

The mountainous passes between Isger and Molthune were daunting and treacherous. Avalanches and fearsome mountain goats were, in many ways, the least dangerous of the threats you faced, though each was deadly and draining in their own right. Though the unmarked trails are far from claimed, perhaps your efforts will aid the trade between Isger and Molthune, strengthening the region against the looming threats plaguing the Inner Sea.
Experienced Mountaineer (General): The trek from Isger to Molthune taught you tricks for navigating treacherously steep terrain. While this boon is slotted, you treat mountainous terrain and other steep slopes as difficult terrain, rather than as greater difficult terrain.

7. PFS(2) AP-146: Cult of Cinders:
You traveled to the jungles of the Mwangi Expanse and befriended a settlement of Ekujae elves. In seeking to aid them, you purged the remainder of the cult known as the Cinderclaws.
Mwangi Summoner: The Ekujae you met during your travels taught you of the creatures that roam the Mwangi Expanse. You have access to the following creatures for the purposes of appropriate summoning spells: biloko warrior, biloko veteran, eloko, and kishi.
For good or ill, your time amongst the iruxi has changed the status quo in this region. Hopefully things will be less tumultuous when you finally reach the iruxi city of Ekkeshikaar.
Ally of the Iruxi (Slotless): You befriended the iruxi of Kihirat. This boon will have a special benefit in a future adventure.
Traveling across the Arcadian Ocean, you arrived in Port Valen, a town built on the path to the legendary Ulfen paradise of Valenhall. In the port town, you interacted with many of the Ulfen, Mahwek, and Valenborn citizens. You befriended the rancher Deishu Molwan, were invited back by the rancher Balasz Yrmingar, and met with all of the town’s most prominent figures, including the legendary linnorm king Sveinn Blood-Eagle and the Mahwek diplomat Rahahksenwe. Finally, you saw Sveinn Blood-Eagle march on toward Valenhall while defending Port Valen from rampaging monsters.
You successfully escorted a squad of hobgoblin Pathfinder candidates to Absalom, sharing techniques and skills along the way.

You crashed her garden party, rescued the imprisoned nature spirits, and returned home to your forest.
