Sooo, my players are plowing through book 4 and are currently below Jorgenfist.
I now realised, that the Mokmurian in the Anniversary version is a different one than the one in pfsrd.
I suspect the one in pfsrd is form the og AP?
He's a 14th level wizard compared to 11th level in the AE.
Which one should I take? My party is 5 quite optimized PCs (Shaman, Arcane Trickster, Swashbuckler, Ranger, Druid).
I want to gibe them a really, really hard fight, but not an unfair one.
Also, I'm thinking of the possibilty to bring Barl back as a Runeslave in the final encoumter. That would propably be too much?

Hi all!
So, the following situation.
My players freed the three black arrows, but none of them sensed Kaven motive, so he's basically a usurper in the party right now.
After the party freed them they send the druid in Owl form to the Fort for scouting, while Vale drew them the complete map and they discussed their options to attack the fort.
The plan is right now:
The main part of the group will head into the fort via the tunnel with the thunder lizards. They will drive the lizards into the fort. The main reason why they chose this route is because they hope to find captives in the cells.
Meanwhile they want Kaven to burn the "new" barracks to cause some trouble inside the fort.

Spoilers: he will not.

So, as written the party will encouter Lucrecia in the basement. I don't want this to happen.
I think Kaven will head straight into the basement of the fort, taking the secret route at the barracks. He will arrvie there shortly before the PCs will and will warn Lucrecia, who then teleports both of them via dimension door into the top of the tower. Should she block the stairway before she leaves?

She will then ask Kaven about everything he knows before she kills him. After that she will advice the Ogers how to handle the situation and let them imprison her into the tower, so that the party later finds her and hopefully think she is a hostage of the ogers.

But how should I go on from this?
As planned, the PCs will have no secret entry into the fort anymore, obviously the ogers will block all secret doors after Kaven tells them where they are.
I think maybe Jaagrath will challenge the PCs? Telling them to fight for the fort, he and his Brother-Sons against the party plus the black arrows?
Any suggestions?

The party is relatively open with the fact, like if someone asks "what happened to her?" They'd answer openly.
She died at the very end of book 1, one encounter before the fight with Nualia, but around two weeks passed since then and the beginning of the Skinsaw Murders.

I think my Gnoll PC might notice a missing comb (she wouldn't use it much as a gnoll anyway :D) and a disguised Aldern will run in another PC shortly after that. He will ask him out about her and when he finds out what happens will get very, very angry. He will either make the gnoll or the PC who he blames for her death the subject for his wrath.

So... A while ago I started my Rise of the Runelords Campaign with 6 PCs.
One of them was a female Undine, which appeared to be human due to the flesh chamaleon alternate racial trait and was the subject of Alderns obsession.
Problem is, she died during Thstletop, but was reincarnated as a...... GNOLL!!!
So, what to do from here on? We're at the very start of Skinsaw Murders now. Does Aldern even know she's dead? If so, why? How would he react?
My thoughts were:

-He doesn't know she's reincarnated or even dead. She is still the Subject for his Lust.

-He somehow knows but still loves her

-He knows, and hates that she's ugly know. He know has Wrath for the PC he makes responsible for her death.

But how would he know? I thought maybe he kidnapped a Villager, an took his Mask to look like him just to spy on the PCs. As soon as he realize that the Undine isn't in the party anymore he runs into one of the PCs to ask him out.

What would you do?
Sorry for my english, not my native language.
