Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Option 3 might be best for everyone. I'm pretty busy myself. But I definitely still like the game.

Your flat footed AC is 28. Mine is 11, lol.

EDIT: Ah, apparently size bonuses to AC apply to flat footed AC, I think. And I think I also gain a +1 natural armor bonus, so I'm apparently at 14 flat footed.

I guess I'm pretty much the opposite of you (high touch, low flat-footed vs high flat-footed and low touch).

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

In line with what I've stated previously, here are Perception checks for the first 1 minute, minus the ones in the first round.

Spoiler:

2nd Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

3rd Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

4th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

5th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

6th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

7th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

8th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

9th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

10th Round
Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

If any of these are nat 20s, and I still don't see the bastard, then I will try again at minute 7.

Minute 7, Round 1:

Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

If that still fails, then I will take 20 for 2 minutes just in case Invisibility was cast. If the above role was a natural 20, then I will ignore taking 20 and just move into the center of the arena (at the very highest point) and ready an action to use Lay on Hands on myself if I take damage. The same will happen should my take 20 fail.

Lay on Hands:

Lay On Hands: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (1, 3, 3) + 12 = 19

As before, if at any point I see the a!+#*#&, I dive bomb him with the aforementioned charge attack.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

I can't use that strategy effectively though. The vast majority of my defense is DEX & dodge AC. Being flat-footed is insanely crippling to me, and I don't have the highest HP stat. The fact that my reach is 0ft also doesn't help, since it means that I can't ready an action to strike back like you guys can. So the most effective thing for me to do is to try and wait him out, I guess.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Ugh, stealthy enemies. My number 1 counter. That said, it seems as if this enemy is in the same boat that I'm in, with a high stealth but a low perception. Looks like this match is definitely going to take a while. I'll do my best to speed things up when I get in close.

When we get to level up, I'll definitely have to see what I can do about increasing my damage.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

The bird knows better than to listen to the creature's goading, and instead continues to search for the creature. There aren't many places to hide in this arena, after-all. And low level invisibility isn't likely to last a particularly long time.

Move Action 1:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Move Action 2:Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

I'll keep the previous stealth & Initiative score, if at all possible.

I'm willing to keep spamming Perception checks for at least 7 minutes straight if need be. If nothing happens after the first minute, assume that I will take the 2 minutes necessary to take 20. If nothing happens after 7 minutes, then Mu will fly to the center of the room, at it's very zenith before attempting another Take 20 perception check.

If Mu finds the enemy at any point, or if the enemy chooses to reveal themselves for any reason, he will attempt a charge attack...while fighting defensively.

Charge: 1d20 + 15 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 15 - 2 + 2 = 31
Damage: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Note that this will provoke an attack (before I get the opportunity to fight defensively) since I need to enter into the enemy's square before I can attack them.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Look around using Sense Perfection (Detects people with Ki Pools), if Mu sees nobody then he will fly behind a pillar and use stealth. After that, he'll use Total Defense (+6 AC) until the enemy makes a move.

Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Sorry it took so long guys.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

I just realized, since I'm super consistent and all, I might as well include a Round 6.

Mu Ridenhou, Round 6:

Full Round Action = Full Attack [Fighting Defensively]

Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 15 - 2 = 15
Damage 1: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 2 = 22
Damage 2: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

If I took damage, then here's another lay on hands:

Lay on Hands: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 2, 1) + 12 = 20

I just realized that I made a mistake in my character sheet when I put down 3d6+6. It's actually 3d6+12, since I have both Fey Foundling and the Tiefling Favored Class Bonus.

If I was forced to use Hero's Defiance because the Dragon got a few lucky crits in and my HP was reduced to 0, then assume that said lay on hands was used as an immediate action and add the following:

Hero's Defiance, extra healing: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

EDIT: That first attack is looking like a miss, so here's a Round 7

Mu Ridenhou, Round 7:

Full Round Action = Full Attack [Fighting Defensively]

Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 15 - 2 = 32
Damage 1: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 10 - 2 = 9
Damage 2: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Hopefully, that's enough to do the Dragon in, so I don't waste time.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Mu Ridenhou, Round 5:
Full Round Action: Full Attack [Fighting Defensively]

Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 15 - 2 = 28
Damage 1: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 10 - 2 = 21
Damage 2: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

I'm certainly consistent, but damage clearly is NOT my forte, heh. This might go on for a while.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Mu Ridenhou, Round 4:
Sensing the Dragon's Rage as it adds more power to it's attacks, the bird decides to center itself, healing it's injuries before it continues to attack.

Swift Action: Lay on Hands
Heal: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1) + 6 = 11

Full Round Action: Full Attack [Fighting Defensively]

Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 15 - 2 = 31
Damage 1: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 10 - 2 = 21
Damage 2: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Second verse; same as the first.

Note that the Dragon is free to 5ft step each round to escape me. Each time I make a 5ft step back into it's square I'll provoke an attack of opportunity, giving it one more chance to strike me.

Feel free to just include it as an extra attack each round, rather than writing it out each time.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

If you wanted to stick with Barbarian, I'd suggest either a Beastkin Berserker or a Flesheater for this challenge, since both have rather easy access to flight.

Also, GM, I put a link to my mythweavers sheet in my character's profile.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

I should note, I have the Defensive Strategist trait, which prevents me from being flat-footed before acting in combat.

It's a religion trait, so if you want me to change my deity from Irori to Torag, I'm more than fine with that. Enlightened Paladins aren't required to worship Irori (a Lawful Neutral deity), but Torag is Lawful Good, so there's no problem with me switching if need be.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

I'm not flat footed before acting, because I took the trait, Defensive Strategist. I presume that I wasn't able to enter into Crane Style though. If that's the case, then I will do so now.

Mu Ridenhou, Round 2:

Swift Action: Enter Crane Style
5ft Step into the Dragon's square [This provokes an Attack of Opportunity against AC 28]
Full Round Action: Full Attack [Fighting Defensively]

Attack 1: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 15 - 2 = 24
Damage 1: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Attack 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 - 2 = 15
Damage 2: 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

While I'm fighting defensively using Crane Style, my AC rises by 4 (2 base, +1 for Crane Style, +1 for 3 ranks in Acrobatics). This puts my AC at 32.

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

Buffs:

Use Ring of Seven Lovely Colors to transform into a Songbird.
(==> +4 DEX, +1 Natural Armor, Size --> Tiny)
Enter into Crane Style
Fly up to equivalent height where Dragon would be (180 ft up), but near the wall (40 ft away from Dragon)
Use Stealth & Total Defense until Dragon arrives

Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Given that we have knowledge of the enemy we're facing in the first round, I presume that we aren't flat-footed, correct?

Male Tiefling (Div-Spawned) Enlightened Paladin 6 | HP: 44/46 | AC: 23 [28B] (23 [27B] tch, 11 [14B] FF) | CMB: +4 [2B] CMD: 27 [26B]| F: +12, R: +13 [15B], W: +12 | Init: +5 [7B]|Perception: +2 (Darkvision 60) | Resist 5 cold, fire, electricity | Lay on Hands 7/9

I'm here. Let me know whatever else I need to do.
