Hero Points:
1 Hyde sees a mother and her daughter trying to find cover. The girl stumbles and falls as they run for safety, with a giant ant right behind her. The girl screams in fear as Hyde approaches, though it is difficult to know whether she is afraid of the monstrous figure approaching her or the giant insect, or perhaps both. Hyde interposes herself between the ant and the girl, ready to intercept any attack. Her mother stands by the street, unsure what to do.

Hero Points:
1 Apologies. I have been preoccupied with cleaning out the storage room to turn it into an office. We have about 5 years' worth of junk plus all my RPG stuff in there, and it's a task. Dodge: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Toughness: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Hyde struggles against the vines holding her, but it is in vain.

Hero Points:
1 Hyde tried to remember what Jeckyll knew of the Greek myth, but eventually gave up. She was capable of remembering what happened during her time as her alter ego, but does not have access to that personality's knowledge.

Hero Points:
1 Hyde seems a little saddened watching Sehkmet tear into the beast, but does not interfere and says nothing. "Could you have tamed it?" She asks Jonathon. "It might have been a useful ally."

Hero Points:
1 Strength: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 "Kill it? I'd like to make a pet of it!" Hyde replies, only half-joking. If the snake resurfaces and approaches the boat, Hyde will try to grab it.

Hero Points:
1 Hyde does notice that the monster has stiffened up, but either doesn't recognize Jonathon's schtick or doesn't care. She swings again at the creature. Attack: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 2 = 14 Don't know if that will hit an unresisting target, but DC 25 if it does.

Hero Points:
1 "That's... not a mermaid," Henrietta says, her voice growing deeper as she shifts to Hyde. "Aren't you a big one," Ms. Hyde says aloud, not even certain the creature can understand her words. She assumes a defensive position but has not yet attacked. Ready action: if the creature attacks, so will Hyde.

Hero Points:
1 Henrietta groans. Her body twists and reshapes, becoming a muscular, seven-foot-tall monstrosity. Her skin takes on a greyish pallor and her eyes recess into her face, becoming little more than pinpoints of black amid the grey wrinkles. Her hair, once so beautifully fixed into a neat bun, now hangs loose, scraggly, and unkempt. She reaches out with a mighty fist and "knocks" on the door (with enough force to break it from its hinges). "Door's open," she says simply. Sorry to take liberties, GM, but unless the door is reinforced, it probably isn't going to stand up to her. |
