Because retain old abilities but gain new stats. I'm confused.

My players assisted Nazis because they were in a war with the dragons and a cult. They technically have a common enemy but I'm not sure what to make of this...

Should this be taken as an alignment alteration?

I'm completely stumped.

Better question:

Where did you get gasoline?

It does not exist in Golarion.

Home brew game. That went through into the real world... Long story.

New question.... What kind of poisonous status effect would gasoline cause?

Creative. I can see this scene in the movie version already.

Funny enough, this wasn't the weirdest thing that happened tonight.

Last time I pour gasoline on the ground and lit it on fire nothing really happened to the ground. So I'm going to say other than some color change he is fine.

yeah but was it 20 gallons?

Long story, but they broke their car in the middle of WW2 and had to get gasoline. And they found some but lack of buckets led to this plan.

What would the long term effects be?

What kind of DC save is it?

And what percentage chance does he have to catch fire?

Quickly, please.... I need help.

What about Nikola Tesla?

The BBEG is Dr. Edward Richtophen, PhD. The party consists of a break dancing monk (flowing monk), Changling Witch, Ranger (formerly wizard), a halfling bard that looks like a kid with the voice of Morgan Freeman, and a Zen archer.

Four questions:

1) How would the Allies and Axis powers react to dragons, mind flayers, and C'thulhu based cultists?

2) What famous historical beings from this time period should be incorporated into the story?

3) Does General Patton count as a Cavalier or a Battle Oracle?

And 4) How do real world weapons kill my players?

Begin.

Waitwaitwait...what?

"So, lowlife, you killed 15 innocent people in a crowded market square? What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Yes sir, it was an accident sir."

"Oh well that makes it okay then, I'll just charge you a small fine, maybe that will help smooth over the heartbroken sobs of 15 families tonight."

I was too mad with the wizard and he was resisting arrest so I forgot to punis h the Monk further. Also he surrendered when the other guy escaped so I just didn't think about it the time.

Unless the entire populace is cowed by the PCs or the leadership is completely sociopathic towards their people or the PCs are known to be absolutely, without question, necessary for the survival of the world, I can't see any way for them to not want the characters involved punished with extreme prejudice without having the NPCs not act like actual people.

Granted, those bystanders probably should have moved away from the battle unless all of this took place right at the start(in which case, holy hell) or the place was so crowded that they couldn't quickly get away.

Personally, I'd really recommend rethinking the -5 thing and that homebrew bow on the GM side. On the player side, thinking of the NPCs as people makes a lot of these problems go away. Unless the PCs themselves are sociopaths.

In which case this is probably going to come up again.

it was within the first and only round because the cultist figured the legal system of this town was punishment enough on these adventurers so they after the slaughter.

I'm sorry mass murderer. Happy? CAUSE I'M NOT.

Non heroics in my world die at flat -5.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I informed him. He's now saying that he tried to make it look like the cultists did it...

See my friend decided to Stone Call with Elemental and Rime Meta Magic feat in the middle of a crowded pseudo Indian market place fighting cultists. He managed to mildy harm the cultists and kill 50 peasants during the process. And the monk before hand had accidentally killed 15 more. The guards saw this and this is a campaign to save the world. The bard is innocent. But there's a problem also. The guards don't have a jail. They just take you to the chopping block. I don't want to derail the campaign but the wizard was more blood thirsty than I thought.

What the hell do I do?

What would his background be?

Is there anyway for bards to use artistic instruments (visually/speaking) in combat?

Is there any way to make a summoner illusion hybrid?

Yeah and every wand he has is a paint brush. This is going to be amazing. People are going to love this.

I say summoner because I was watching Epic Rap Battles of history Dr. Seuss vs William Shakespeare. And he summoned the cat in the hat and thing 1&2 to rap for him while he stood there and danced and stayed silent. I thought it was a good enough reason to start an NPC for him.

I'm trying to make an NPC in pathfinder based around Dr. Suess for my group to encounter in my world (homebrew). What would he be? Summoner? Illusionist? Transmuter? Any and all help would be appreciated.

That's a very plausible arch I could take but is there a way to do that with the Goblin Vengeance deity? Like that wouldn't be hard would it?

Sure. I thought you said the gods were dead, but it could be possible that any figure hellbent on vengeance, including a god, could demand all goblin infants showing any signs of relative physical or mental weakness to be killed at a young age so that only the strongest and smartest would survive to wreck havoc on those that had previously bested them while they were weak.

Goblin Spartans, here they come!

40 generations is enough to expect problems for people to be likely, but I think you could write in either the artificial selection or outbreeding I mentioned earlier to end up with a mechanically superior race for your story. [/

About a 40 goblin generations. Considering that their generations are a hell of a lot shorter in my world. Well most campaigns I imagine.

............... What just happened?

Yeah let's drop that. But the suggestions are really helpful. The reason why the last three goblins lived is because the party had to go home. So those goblins have the best luck in the world in my book. But I like the idea of Dwarves discovering new goblins and the deities of Goblin Vengeance ideas.

The starting point of the campaign was the death of 99.9% of the gods... The starting point was that.

It's a homebrew and universe I don't use Golarion....

That was the last remaining goblin place due to the fact the Cthulhu gods have destroyed most of the multiverse

Kthulhu wrote:

So some PCs for some reason assume that they've been successful in their efforts to rid the entire multiverse of the goblin race, with only two exceptions?

I personally wouldn't provide much more explanation than: "You really thought you killed off the entire race? Wanna buy a bridge?"

But they did... I didn't expect them to do that well against them...

They worship a version of Haredgash... Which is also dead due to the goblin "annoyance" because he tried to intervene... Which resulted in more genocide... That group really didn't like certain races...

My friends were high leveled and they were annoyed with the goblins on the swamp moon... Yet they forgot they saved that very same goblin group 2 campaigns ago... They should blame themselves for this happening.

Not my fault.

Hadregash is dead too....

Oh I'm using the deity idea that sounds amazing.

I think I'm going to use both of those ideas. Although more advice wouldn't hurt. But thank you.

Here's my problem.

My friends want to play goblins. The problem is that in my game universe, the last group of friends I had genocided the goblins down to two brothers and their mother and now they number around two thousand and suffer massive race penalties because of this.

I know what you're thinking, "Why don't you just rewrite the history?" Well I don't just want to rewrite it. What do you guys think?

Any and all suggestions would help.
