Alright. epicwords invites sent. See you all there :D

Ok. All characters thus far created are heartily approved :)

I think i've sent the final epic words password, please let me know if i've missed you :)

Once everyone's signed up there, we can start :)

Ok. Epicwords.com account passwords have been sent to those who provided emails, everyone else can post or PM me theirs.

Great work on the character's you guys have made. We are playing with canned adventures, but I'll tweak it to suit the party. Once everyone is done with PC's we can start.

Well, here's what I have so far. Background coming soon.

Great, getting there. Soon we'll have enough to start play.

Nice character, Radavel, all options approved :)

Ok, we're full up. Chris Mortika and nightflier are in, make up some characters, guys. I've created a thread in the pbp forum and will begin posting adventure content once some more character backgrounds are sorted out. We're starting with the Forgotten Forge, which is a prologue from the setting book.

This will be a play by post Eberron campaign, using mainly published material.

I have GIMP, which should be able to open the file.

Great, GIMP will work fine. Fantastic character. Bonus 100XP for the back story and promptness :)

I'll be handling the XP and Treasure here: http://www.epicwords.com/campaigns/423

Create an account and join the campaign. There'll also be bonus XP for character journals and other things that you guys put into this.

Out of interest, do you guys have access to photoshop?

I've created a virtual battlemap technique using the layers in a .psd file :D

Not entirely sure yet. Maybe an urban ranger, eventually going into Master Inquisitive...

Nice. Go with it, or anything else you come up with :)

Oh, and I'm interested.

Great, three players down, a couple more to go :D

Did you have any character ideas?

Edit: Stat roll1,Stat roll2,Stat roll3...wow, so much for a powerful character. Yeesh.

Stat Generation Update:

Roll your sets of 4d6 until you get at least one 18 and one dump score (ie. 9 and below).

Level 1, the adventure path will take you through to about level 8.
I'm not as familiar with Eberron as I'd like, but I've been dying to play a Warforged since I first picked up Races of Eberron. A Warforged druid wouldn't be easy to engineer, probably, but being able to wildshape into mechanical versions of animals would so be worth it(maybe they're effigies from Complete Arcane instead of animals?). Is there still a spot open? Any suggestions for a Warforged naturalist playing against type?

If you want to play a warforged druid, go for it! That sounds like an amazing character idea! You could get some really neat roleplaying mileage out of the idea of a machine that's embraced the natural world after becoming sentient :D

Great! Roll up a PC.

I'm pretty lenient. Ability scores are 4D6, drop the lowest and arrange as you like. Role two or three sets of stats and pick the best if you like, I like relatively powerful characters.

As for books. Anything from the core books, complete series and eberron books is permitted. Anything else, just ask. My knowledge of d20 products is good, but there's a lot of it out there.

Just play something you can be excited about and that you think is cool. An old favorite or something you've been reading about lately, whatever. Just go with something you'll enjoy playing and that you think would be fun in this kind of game.

I recommend the Eberron stuff and it's all easily accessible to those of you savvy with the interwebs. Warforged juggernauts, Shifter Druids and Master Investigators (awesome social character anyone?)are all pretty sweet choices from the Eberron line.

I'm new to PBP DMing, but not to DMing in general. Casual play, couple of posts a week minimum (obviously faster is better).

I'm pretty open to character ideas and options, so roll some up and post em :)
