Half-Orc

"Very good sir, you'll have both by the end of the week," With that, the Half-Orc headed off to his workspace.

Half-Orc

"Very good sir. Would you prefer jewels or no? There's still that chest loaded with them."

Half-Orc

"I would not know the reasons for doing so sir. If it would make you feel more comfortable, I can try and add the symbol of Asmodeus to the armor."

Half-Orc

"That's the thing, sir. I can't find any religious iconography on the armour. I'm positive she wasn't given this breastplate by Rull."

Half-Orc

"I've had a chance to take a closer look at that breastplate, and.......if I'm not being too forward sir, it is better than the current mail you are wearing."

Half-Orc

Seeing the Asmodian Priest approach, the Blacksmith snapped to attention, "Good afternoon sir, may I have a moment to speak with you?"

Half-Orc

Morbak stood stunned for a moment, "Sir, this......this is the breastplate that Grezuna the Stormtouched. I saw this in my dreams. She was the Orc I spoke about earlier that was blessed by Rull." Stepping forward, he then took a hold of the breastplate. "I don't have much use for armour Sir, but I will hold onto it as you request. Perhaps in the fullness of time, a use for it will appear."

Half-Orc

Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

While maintaining his hand on the sigil, Morbak managed to dodge the bolt thrown his direction.

Half-Orc

Morbak complied with the Priest request. Stepping tentatively forward, he placed a hand upon the sigil.

Half-Orc

Morbak stood looking at the symbol in trepidation. "What now sir?"

Half-Orc

Gio found Morbak standing at parade rest across from his door.

Half-Orc

"I'll be out here Sir," Morbak replied while waiting in passageway.

Half-Orc

"Do you suppose we can look today Sir? I don't think I could take another night like the one I had last night."

Half-Orc

"After our talk last night, I had rather fitful dreams about blood and storms. Then Rull himself visited and told me to help you. I don't know how I'm supposed to do that, so I came to you for advice."

Half-Orc

Gio: You see Morbak standing in front of your door. The Half-Orc looked as though he had not slept well. "Good morning sir, sorry for disturbing you, but I think I need to speak with you."

Half-Orc

"Anytime Sir," Morbak responded before turning back to his duties.

Half-Orc

"Very well Sir. Oh, on another point, your helmet will be finished in a couple days Sir."

Half-Orc

"Rull? I haven't heard that god's name in some time. But unfortunately Sir, I do not know much. My mother once told me a story of a young Orc woman that was struck by a lightning bolt and saw a vision of Rull. She then went on to lead a horde for near a decade before her mysterious demise. Her treasure was never found though, it's said only one of her blood can find it. Does that help at all Sir?"

Half-Orc

Finding his way through the winding corridors, Gio found Morbak ending his daily clean up of the forge. Seeing the Cleric, he immediately snapped to attention, "How may I be of service Sir?"

Half-Orc

Stepping around to the other side of the forge, the Blacksmith lifted a long wooden box onto the worktable. Unlocking and opening it, he then pulled out three swords, a couple axes and a mace.

"These are all I have available Sir. The Mithril hasn't come in yet, so I haven't started working with it."

Half-Orc

Sorry, missed your post.

Stopping his work, the Half-Orc wiped his hands before standing at attention. "I will answer as best I can Sir."

Half-Orc

With a bow, the Half-Orc returned to his work.

Half-Orc

With a bow, Morbak responded, "Very well My Lady."

Turning to Eri, he asked, "Was there anything else My Lady?"

Half-Orc

Morbak gestured to the cavern, "Then any open space within this cavern should suffice My Lady."

Half-Orc

"How often will this shipments come in My Lady?"

Half-Orc

Was not going to go dirty. I have a little decorum.

"Mithril huh? I've not worked with that for a while." Morbak pondered the question, then asked one of his own, "Will it come in as raw ore My Lady?"

Half-Orc

Noticing his visitors, he stops his work and sets it aside. Wiping his hands with a nearby hanging rag, the Half-Orc approached, "Hello Sir and Ladies, are you in need of my services?"

Half-Orc

"Then you shall have it a week at the latest Sir," With a bow, the Half-Orc turned and left the Dining Hall.

Half-Orc

Morbak looked at the sketch carefully for a moment, "I believe there were some sizable rubies in that chest your team brought back Sir. This will probably take me about a week to complete. Is that satisfactory Sir?"

Half-Orc

"Very good Sir. Any special requests on materials or design Sir?"

Half-Orc

The Half-Orc stood at military fashion and asked, "How may I be of service Sir?"

Half-Orc

The Half-Orc gathered his things, stood up, and started to walk away from the camp. He stopped and looked at his former commander, "Nrok nu nro Rohh'g ranr 'u hakt nro Zukzah. Captain." Morbak said with venom in his voice.

Orc:
Then to the Hell's with you and the Council.

Half-Orc

Glaring at Terra, "Orcs started out sentient. These things did not."

Half-Orc

Morbak looks at Doran, "Have you lost your sodding mind? These, things, cannot be taught magic. The ability to speak does not make them like us in any way, shape, or form. They are abominations, pure and simple. Monstrosities that need to be put down, no matter what."

Half-Orc

As the one intended for the Half-orc approached, he raised his crossbow towards it. Then he heard Doran's words, and glared at the youth, "Don't proceed to tell me what to do, you bakg ggakkot ruknhaak hauk phaan."

Orc:
pink skinned mountain lion bait. This is an insult, in case it's not clear.

Half-Orc

Coming out of his momentary shock at seeing them surrounded by talking ants, Morbak's grip tightened on his crossbow. "Sir, we need to get out of here. Now." He whispered to his former Captain.

Half-Orc

Thinking for a moment, the Half-Orc realizes what the Captain is driving at. Doesn't mean he had to like it. "Yes I see it sir, but a talking ant ain't natural. I have no idea what's going on here but we need to put a stop to it. Sir. The Void Tower's unnatural enough as it is, this world don't more. Sir."

Half-Orc

Stopping in his tracks from the shear habit of hearing his rank, Morbak stood there for a few moments before walking over to the Captain. Standing at parade rest, "Yes, sir." he said with slight venom in his voice.

Half-Orc

Morbak grabs Doran by his shirt, and lifts him off the ground. "Never. Touch. The crossbow." The Half-Orc dropped the young man turned and walked away.

Half-Orc

"What in the Nine Hells is this?!" Morbak exclaims as appeared from behind another fallen spider. "It talks! The damned thing TALKS!" He raised his weapon and aimed at the ants head, "Move out of the way, Ranger Boy, and let me dispatch it quick."

Half-Orc

Taking the Ranger's queue, Morbak follows suit with loaded Double-Crossbow and heads in a different direction.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11+2 vs Vermin
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Half-Orc

"So you're telling me that the vermin in that area might be able to think?" Morbak asked as they began to walk west.

Half-Orc

"Yes, the brightest green light I've ever layed eyes upon."

Half-Orc

"That's the rub of it Captain, I haven't. This all started about a month ago, when that tower that stands in the clearing glowed bright green for a night. Since then, this Bug War has raged on."

Half-Orc

"You forget Captain, I was born in the mountains here." he jibbed back.

Looking at the map for a few moments, Morbak shook his head. "Of course you'd be heading there. That clearing is right smack dab in the middle of a territory dispute between the Spiders and the Ants. Craziest thing I've ever seen, vermin fighting over that smidgen of land like tribes fighting over hunting ground." The Half-Orc scratched the back of his head thoughtfully. "I can get you there, but we need to be very careful. Spiders are bad enough, but ants, there's never only one."

Half-Orc

Turning to his former Commander, Morbak asked, "So Captain, what brings you here to Azeem?"

Half-Orc

"Still, what a night." The Half-Orc responded to the Captain's reference to the dance girl. After the introductions, Morbak bowed his head slightly and continued, "A pleasure to meet you all."

Raising Dorna a little higher and looking him straight in the eye, the Lieutenant said, "Drop it." With a soft thud, the dagger hit the ground. Releasing the fey, Morbak tilted his head off to the side, "Beat it." Quickly Dorna flew off into the wood and disappeared again.

Turning to the young ones, "Yes, it did. Ettercaps may not be vermin, but they are damned close enough for me." Morbak said while his eyes seem to flash crimson for a second.

Half-Orc

Two bolts come from a nearby bush and embed into the purple creature's skull. A fairly large Half-Orc steps out from the brush, left hand holding Dorna by his shirt. "Looking for this Captain?" the newcomer said in a deep voice. "You really need to take better care of your equipment. Isn't that what you always told me in Hodag Company?"

It takes Captain Piers a moment, but he recognizes the Half-Orc as Morbak.

Half-Orc

Nope.
