Long weekend FTW?

Losing the extra cash sucks though.

Asking me for anything more is folly. Unless it relates to abscondi-cave activities, mind.

My day is the opposite, I've gotten inventory done and all my expenses for the month totaled and sent in, so I've nothing to do today but answer the phone and goof off.

Okay, I am all but officially done with this day. Managed to get all the orders out, my inbox cleared, and any warranty issues resolved to the customers satisfaction.

And I didn't even commit a felony today. I deserve a cookie.

Heresy. D:

We roast everything in Ireland. Roast veg, roast potatoes, roast meats. It's delicious, done right.

Stereotypically, all food in Scotland is deep-fried, and all food in England is boiled.

Neither of those things are true, he says, chowing down on his freshly boiled hamburger & 'fries'

Almost time to call it a day, invoices logged, checks ready to deposit, and warranty calls returned. Now to go home to three kids, two dogs, and dinner.

I think I have less stress and headache at work sometimes. :P

If memory serves correctly I subjected you to my love of Johnny Cash a few years back.

Sounds like you and my daughter, Arden, have the same taste in music.

your music is damn good. You need to hang with markthomas66.

How is she? Probably tall and grown and breaking hearts, she was cute last I saw her.

OMG, she's taller than her momma now, and all into her "rocker phase". As for the heart breaking, her first girlfriend broke up with her right before the end of school, but I bought her a new guitar and she's pouring herself into music. Shoot me a text if you still have my number, I'll send you some pics.

You must still be young. In my teens I misliked most pop songs, and despised metal. By my late 40s, I was starting to admire just how polished and cleverly-crafted many of the 90s pop songs were, and I find myself seriously enjoying Impus Major's European metal.

Dressing up like Joakim Broden at 50 was quite the blast, too.

Don't know if I'd call 43 young. Though I reckon to some it may be. ;)

I tend to kind of stay the same through out my life, hell until about 4 years ago I've only ever cut my hair one way. Still dress the same as I did as a teen, jeans and either tshirt or button up, converse all stars or work boots.

I even weigh within 10 pounds of what I did at 15, around 185. I'm like Peter freaking Pan that way.

Lucky! I did hard-core Tae Kwon Do (22 hours a week!!) from 20-23 and fought at 155 lbs, but quitting cold and continuing to eat 5000-6000 calories a day is detrimental to your body shape. I ballooned to 185 within 2 months, and have stayed within 15 pounds of that for most of the last 27 years.

In terms of fashion, I'm wearing much the same stuff (loose cotton pants and T-shirts), but skate pants with skulls 'n' such went out of fashion, so I've switched to Chefwear. Explaining the many references to me and "fish pants".

No kidding! I fought Muay Thai from 20-24. Quit fighting after meeting my wife. Of course now I pay for thinking I was indestructible back then.
