Thanks! So there is absolutely no information's regarding the land/town/cities of the Pathfinder chronicles in the core rulebook?

Also a bit off the original topic, when using the rules to buy ability scores in the character creations should I interpreter the list as:

Raising an attribute from 10 to 18 costs 17 points? Or lowering from 10 to 7 gives you an extra 4 points to spend?

I'm skimming through the book while creating my Paladin/Sorcerer character and I can only find a small ( very small ) list of the gods and there descriptions at the Cleric page, is this all about the gods provided in the book or is there more?

Same with cities what pages gives some information about towns/cities?

Or is all the information in expansions?

Sorry for DP:

But there is no target DC for casting a spell unless you are under pressure?

Because I can't find it anywhere.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

But the use of magic is correct? ( See the first post )

Even Sorcerer and Wizard? Or Paladin and Cleric combo?

Also, the Sorcerers "Arcane"-bloodline feature "Arcane Bond" does it allow the Sorcerer to have a familiar or if chosen an bound object?

I had a question about multiclassing Sorcerer/Bard/Paladin/Ect.

If I understand "Spell-slots" correctly, it works a bit like specific "mana" for certain spell-levels. For example if you have 4 spell-slots for 3rd level spells you can use for example: 4 spells that uses one spell-slots each or two that uses 2 slots each?

Also what happens when you multiclass two ( or more ) classes that draws their powers from different sources.

For example a Sorcerer and a Paladin. Does both sorcerer and paladin skills share the Spell-slot pools or do the different classes get there own spell-slot pool?

Hello all, today is my first time playing Pathfinder.

I had some questions about:

- Buying Attributes
- Buying Skillranks

First things first:
We are going with buying option were everyone starts with 10 ( modifies with racial bonuses ) and then spends points.

I'm assuming that lowering your attributes from the racial bonuses don't grant you any extra points. But when you want to buy a skill from level 7 to level 8 do you ignore the -x and just pay x? Because you can't actually get skill points from BUYING a higher skill level.

Also the rules says an attribute can't go below 7 does this only applies in character creation? including racial bonuses?

Second things second:
When buying skill ranks after you level the rules say you skill limit is limited by your Hit Dice. For a Player Character this is equal to there total level? One skill rank cost one point, correct?

Also other skills besides your favored class they also costs the same? Because I remember in some other D20 game that the favored class skills only costed 1 but your other class skills costed 2 per rank, this is not the case in Pathfinder?

Is there a limit of how many classes you can have? ( Multiclassing )

Additional Question:
I'm going to play a Dwarven Sorcerer, which by the rules is not ideal.
My question is how hard is the game rules going to punish me for not going with an ideal class? Is it still going to be possible to play a good sorcerer ( although it wont be as optimized as the ideal class/race combo. ) or is it going to punish me hard and make the character near to useless?

Thanks for your time and I'm eagerly awaiting your responses.
