Quote: Later in the week you each receive a message from Envar. It is a digital invitation to his 24th birthday party, described as an all-inclusive trip to a pleasure yacht in high orbit over Verces, with a note, “Join me for an encore performance of our glorious victory!” The Monstruwacan is laying low in his tiny one-room apartment, surrounded by film memorabilia and makeshift holoscreens, when he receives the invitation. "Huh. I guess our disguises didn't fool Envar Tamm after all", he thinks to himself. And starts looking into the price of a starship passage to Verces...

"Thank you, Historia-7, it was a p-pleasure to serve the society, and a honor to w-work with you all. See you around… well… yeah… bye". The Monstruwacan awkwardly shakes hands and appendages before moving out. As he approaches the local public transportation, he starts checking his backlog of holovids that accumulated while he was away, a tiny smile on his face. Other than a little bit of trouble with the elementals, we just tore through this scenario. Pretty good!

Missing that was pretty bad... these tiny ships have a lot of hull points, and at first glance, seem better built than our ship - they balance some serious investment in armor (mk 2 or mk 3) with cheap but reasonable weapons. They can hardly take us out unless they start doing flybys all the time, but they'll sure give us a hard time.

Alright, the Monstruwacan and Zoomer are both on turret weapons with long range. Our missiles have a speed of 12 and theirs only 10. We don't have any point weapons, so if you keep us at least 11 or 12 hexes away from the enemy ships, we can keep dodging their micromissile battery while (probably) hitting them. Or are you talking about letting them board us? That would also depend on the the result of the scanners, if there's only 1 or 2 people inside each ship, that'd be an easy fight, more than that, our odds on a starship battle are probably better - not to mention faster.
