![]() Miss Trenchard spots Zendara and as she approaches she tells her, "I received this about fifteen minutes ago, it's addressed to you." She hands Zendara a letter. Zendara: Good news, while still weak Sheldon was awake for a few hours and managed to eat some soup. The doctors are pleased and expect him to make a full recovery. Quarantine permitting, he should be able to receive visitors the day after tomorrow.

![]() Zendara: You find Miss Trenchard writing in a journal as you approach the department office. She looks up as you approach saying, "Yes?" She frowns when you ask about missing secretaries, "It was a terrible thing! Poor Carmen shot with a poisoned bolt here in the department! There say she will pull through but will be off work for weeks, couldn't have come at a worse time for Dr Morgan..."
Kn: Local DC 15 to recognise Dr Morgan as the head of the Archeology department, and Carmen Franklin as his secretary. You also know exam season is starting soon which is a busy time for the department especially with Dr Munroe's expedition setting off soon. When you inform you of the expected message she nods and promises to let you know. ![]()
![]() Thanks. I'm not expecting combat for a few days so there's time to get it sorted. Xindyra: Miss Trenchard raises an eyebrow at the names of Xindyra's parents, replying tersely, "You'll have to spell those for me..." She doesn't seem interested in the common tongue spelling, so this takes a little while to sort out. The very last question about the solicitors or lack there of causes her to repeat her standard advice, "I would highly recommend you have a will drawn up before you leave, should you be selected. Speaking of which the second round of interviews is tomorrow. Check your pigeonhole, hmm actually you don't have one. Check at this office tomorrow morning, if Dr Munroe wishes you to move forwards to the next stage we will have instructions waiting." ![]()
![]() Zendra:
Miss Trenchard raises an eyebrow before carefully transcribing your details. She remarks, "At least somebody has been paying attention. Check your pigeon hole tomorrow, if you're selected there will be a further round of interviews conducted by Dr Munroe at 3pm sharp, details will be on the note." Ferin:
Miss Trenchard dutifully writes down your answers before telling you, "There's another round in interviews tomorrow, check your pigeon hole. If you're selected they will begin at 3pm on the dot, details will be on the note." Yukarii:
Miss Trenchard informs you, "Yes it's a standard waiver for high risk expeditions. Naturally everything will be done to ensure your safety but circumstances beyond our control may happen, acts of god or war. Etcetera, Etcetera..."
When you ask if there are any more questions she replies, "None at this time but check your pigeon hole tomorrow. There's a second round of interviews with Dr Munroe for those selected. He's a stickler for punctuality so be there at 3pm." Edwin: Miss Trenchard finished writhing her neat entry before telling you in a bored voice, "While all due care and attention is given to the wellbeing of expedition members, it's impossible to guarantee your safety. I'd recommend preparing a will just in case if you do get asked to join. Speaking of which there's another round of interviews tomorrow afternoon at 3 on the dot. Check your pigeon hole tomorrow, if selected where will a note with instructions." ![]()
![]() "Next!" came the loud yet bored sounding call. Miss Trenchard looked you over dubiously before asking in a voice that reminds you of gin and cigars, "Name?" A fountain pen at the ready she prepares to record your answers in a giant ledger filled with her remarkably clear yet tiny copperplate. It's clear she knows a good portion of the answers for at least half the members in the queue (various acedemics) but insists on asking regardless. She's going to ask you all the same questions, please have a go at at answering them. There will be a second round of interviews with Dr Munroe afterwards and this will give him something to talk about! Feel free to make up any details such as burial practices and solicitors. I'll record them in the Player's Guide for posterity.
