We have no lead for the cannibalistic dreams though, and it seems like something in the background connected to something else - either way we'll have to deal with that as it comes up.

Out of the leads: I think Marcella mentioned a Dryad in the Park(Hedge Hill) which might be who is hiding there.
Making Contact with a local Fey(even one bound to an area) could bring some information.
I also suspect the Cult may be involved with the dreams, so the Temple seems a good next step, too.

However, the conspiracy girl went missing, and we may be on a timer to find her, so I'd personally rank:

1. Conspiracy Theorist
2. Hedge Hills
3. Temple of Abadar

Mira followed Amandines lead in changing her appearance (but I decided against changing profile pic) - her hair now elaborately braided in a pattern, her clothing neither suitable for low-born commoners nor nobles, more suited to some successful merchants daughter - a ring on her finger indicating an engagement - she had a girl in mind from her home town, but decided on not preparing a full cover story, trusting in her ability to improvise on the spot to adapt to whatever seemed fitting.

At the social gathering, she spent some time reading the room - by the time she moves to action, the others had already begun spreading out to gather information, Mira decides to follow suite, and approaches the Enumerator.

Miras own relation with religion was...strained, her family still clinging to Aroden in their traditions, and Mira devoting herself to Calistria in her search for Vengeance.
But she had some basic education on the matter, at least enough to not put her foot in her mouth when touching on religious subjects.

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

It seemed true that some mystery cult was one of the lesser worries they had to deal with, but the man seemed sympathetic to Eutropia, and it seemed sensible to make sure he felt heard and had a chance to voice any concerns or further information he might have on that Cult of the Twilight Child - or the nightmares, which Mira suspected were not natural in origin, either.

Hej...
been spending some unplanned time in the hospital myself in january, and had some stuff to deal with in february as well.
Anxiety hit hard because I was afraid I'd come back to find most of my games possibly dropped me for going AWOL.

So...either way, I'm back? And hoping that's fine? I'd get caught up and try to get a post up in the next couple days if that is ok?

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"Are we....supposed to cooperate with this Merkondus to resolve the local issues? Especially given the disappearance of Sir Meir, it does not sit well with me, but if it IS a setup, not getting involved may present the wrong picture that Phytareus men are more efficient than us. I understand we likely have some leeway in how to approach this, but I doubt we will arrive in Yanmass to find the situation exactly as last described. Whoever orchestrated this will have been busy, and the council may not be entirely neutral any longer. So basically, I am asking...what are our priorities in this? To find Sir Meir and show that Eutropia cares about things getting done? To prevent an alliance of Yanmass with Pythareus? To attempt to secure the alliance, even if we have to risk foul play ourselves?"
Mira pauses a moment, then sums up:"I expect to arrive with the game already in progress and the deck stacked against us. Diligence and skill may only take us so far - so I wonder how much...*ahem* subterfuge from our side would you expect to turn the game around."

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

White and Green already functional.
Koriana's Blade, Black, Red, Pink: 1d3 ⇒ 1

So, +3 Defending Longsword, and the black gem(negative energy) is operational now.

(Also, again, here's best of luck to Dro'gan)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Mira is updated and ready to start book 3.

3 minor points:

1.: Did resolving the palace thing do anything for the relic items triumphwise? I understand they can only scale so far, so no worries if not, just making sure we did not miss anything-?

2.: Does the extended downtime before we are called upon perhaps come with some persona-phase? As I understand it, you get certain starting facets, then have to work on those - Mira is not even on the list so anything to not make her fall farther behind ;)

3.: Having wanted to make contact with Eutropia, Mira would also petition for a audience. The topic, quite simply, would be that her familys lands would be restored to her once Eutropia is on the throne. That she, not her uncle, be declared rightful heir and reinstated as ruler. We can play this out open, in spoiler tabs, or just assume that the meeting took place. But it's basically Mira's plot hook and a main reason she would support Eutropia and her quest for a change to succession rules. (The fact Mira's family was murdered by Eutropias political opponent and her own uncle being involved should be good enough a reason for Eutropia to grant that request...)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

As written elsewhere, best of luck, Jeremy.

As for the "watch the looting", I'm pretty sure we are good with the Star of Cassomir - it might be a special item but I think it's more of a "don't go ripping the paintings from the frames" kind of plundering we are disencouraged to perform.

As for the Cthulhu: My recent track record on posting frequency got really bad after 3 games basically shut down - I'd prefer for that to stabilize before I'm throwing my hat in the ring for a different system.(I did play CoC, but it's been a while and never got the casual system mastery going for it that I developed for Pathfinder)

Level Up Summary:

+7 HP(5(D8)+1(Con)+1(FCB)
+1 BaB

Spells Known:
Level 1: Telempathic Projection
Level 3: Glibness, Displacement
(Glibness will just be silly on top of everything, so I am compelled to pick it up. Displacement has decent combat utility and can just as well buff other party members, not depending on Mira to be frontlining.)

Spell Slots
+1 Level 3(=> 2 total with +1 from Cha)

Bold Stare: Disorientation(Penalty also applies to Attack Rolls)

Feat: Manifold Stare(+1 use of Painful Stare/Round)

+1 Bluff
+1 Diplomacy
+1 Disguise

// Since she made a decent performance during the party, background goes to those two:
+1 Perform(Sing)
+1 Perform(String(Harp))

(I'll take a moment to review it tomorrow and/or get an ok, then will apply it to profile)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Ah, yeah, I wanted to comment on the Star of Cassomir, too - fine with me if you want to gift it to her.
On one condition: Make it clear that that is not a personal gift, from you to her, but that the group as a whole wants her to have it.
You are perfectly welcome to romance her, not minding that, but if party funds are used lets avoid misunderstandings :D

Generally: I was the last to join and could cherry-pick my stuff, so I'm totally ok with leftovers or not getting anything this time around.
(just expressing interest in the circlet as something that was on my list, for later, but not attempting to claim that one)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Ah, curious, could have sworn the Circlet was a Headband, too, but you are quite right.
In that case, yeah, I am interested, but there's a good chance I'll pick up Glibness this level, so it may be overkill anyway :)
(But eventually, will want to pick one up, as well)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

I'll get to levelling in the next couple days.

No strong feelings on loot, but a few comments-

Wand of Lightning Bolt: Good, I'll add it then.
Circlet of Persuasion: Aye, I got a +2 Cha Headband already. I will eventually pay for the circlet to be added as secondary effect, but that's in the far future. So yeah, Amandine seems a good recipient if her slot is available.
Minor Wand of Extend: Meraki, you want? I can use it, too, but having some of your buffs potentially last longer could be sweet for back-to-back battles.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"Oh..", Mira exclaims when Greenly starts to rip open the floor. "Ohh..."
She watches with a certain fascination, then pulls her gaze free when Drogan speaks up.

She looks around, then shrugs:"Any other locations around here we need to check? To make sure it's safe?"
Then she turns to Amandine: "And what of the...other occupants? Should we deal with those, or leave that to others?"

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Mira is not affected by the Gaze yet, so I suppose another save is in order(as customary for gazes)
Will vs Save: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28

So far, the creature was much less frightening than Mira had feared. With an air of confidence, and an elegant flourish, Mira moves her blade into a downward position, then cuts into Ehlers again with an upwards swing.

Attack, , Korianas Blade, Good Hope, Prayer: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 + 1 = 26
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 37
Damage, Slashing, Magical, Good Hope, Prayer: 1d8 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 11 Painful Stare: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11

The uncommon stance made it hard to put much strenght into the attack, but the unexpected angle made it easy to catch enemies by surprise, and her confidence seemed to empower the psychic feedback she could feed into the attack.
Painful stare counts as precision damage, but otherwise simply increases the raw damage, so it's not mind affecting or anything, I just assume it's some sort of psych thingie - I mean I could stare at someone Drogan hits and force them to take extra damage without even being near.(but only once/round, and less added damage if it's not my own hit)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

When the creature steps away and begins to invoke magic, Mira instinctively uses the position of her blade from the previous strike to bring the blade into a new attack swing swiftly - something her familys Master-at-Arms had her train extensively to make sure it would come naturally, from muscle memory.

And indeed, it seemed to result in another accurate and strong blow: "No you don't", she voices at the creature, hoping for it's magic to fizzle from the disruption.

Attack of Opportunity, Korianas Blade, Good Hope, Prayer: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 2 + 1 = 23 Slashing, Magical, Good Hope, Prayer: 1d8 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 15

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Gaze Attack, Good Hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 12 + 2 = 25
Fall Apart, Good Hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 12 + 2 = 29

"You should not be on this plane of existance, monstrosity.", Mira answers the mental voice as calmly as she can manage, then approaches the creature drawing the blade she was given before, making a sudden lunge at the Sahkil trying to cut it.

Attack, Korianas Blade, Good Hope: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 8 + 2 = 23 Slashing, Magical, Good Hope: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9 plus Painful Stare: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

Assuming Meraki pre-buffed us with the Align Weapon - otherwise I'd hold until after she acted this round, to see if she does it now. Same action either way, just if at all possible would like the Align spell to be active before trying to attack it with a weapon.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Will: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Mira remains remarkably steadfast in the presence of the little one, smiling at Carr:"Oh, we'll definitely have to pick you up after we are done. You be good now, and we'll go to the gardens to play later. Did you notice anything interesting lately? Any story to tell?"

Diplomacy(if needed): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24

It takes quite some willpower to maintain her composure in front of such tragic a creature, but Mira manages, and if anything, it only strenghtens her resolve to get to the bottom of it all and bring ruin to those responsible.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"Nothing in the way of defenses beyond what I already bestowed upon you. I...had not planned for my life to take the detour it did. I had more...subtle magic at my disposal. After I became an outcast, I learned more active magical options, in self defense. I'm afraid I had little time to hone this aspect of the craft.", Mira replies to Drogan, following the others behind.
She can't help but smile at his Lotheed impression and interaction with the painting lady.
KN Arcana: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

When the nursery and something undead is mentioned, her expression swiftly darkens again as she stares in the direction and grips her blade tightly. "I'm coming, too."

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

I do not have it on my spell list - but Mira does have pretty decent UMD(currently at 14) so if you have a whole collection of pilfered wands around, it could certainly be useful to hand a few to her.

"I am afraid there is little I can do against such an enemy. I am a passable warrior, at best, and what magic I can do mostly affects minds and senses - neither of which seems helpful, if the creature cares, at all.", Mira admits unhappily, but bravely adds: "That said, the blade you borrowed me is magical, so at the least, I should be able to help distract it."

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"That seems low. What did he expect would happen? That we would overlook it if one of us got electrocuted by this trap?", Mira shakes her head: "We have no idea what other surprises are waiting for us in there. No matter the detail, we should probably proceed with utmost caution and not bunch up, just in case..."

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Linguistics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
"Hu...are you sure, Greenly? They look real enough to me...you think no one questioned them, all these years? Why do you believe they are forged? I mean, how'd you notice?", Mira inquires, unable to notice anything off about the documents, but quite willing to learn.

After all, she had no documentation for her alter ego, herself, but wanted to make sure if she got any forged documents, they would pass inspection.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Oh well, same was true for me. Glad I didn't hold things up :D (here, at least)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Mira was not sure what she was expecting to find in the game room - or even what exactly to expect from the room itself, but she figured it was likely to be some place for recreation - and inebriation - or, and those were not mutually exclusive, for some high-stakes gambling and games.

The balls she found seemed to be relatively valuable, and with the set not being full, it seemed quite reasonable to take those as well, and find them a good new home with a paying patron.
The rod racked with the queues, however, was an astonishing find. How it ended up here, she had no idea, but it was definitely coming along with her.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

KN: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

"An Ehlers? Never heared of that kind of creature, but it sounds awful.", Mira responds after shortly trying to recall her lessons in religion and magic.

She then turns to Amandine: "I may be mistaken, but I believe we should also attempt to undo these...modifications of a summoned nature, before we hand over the estate - at least if we are able to."

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

I think the Vault is a definitive yes - albeit possibly someone who can deal with locks(Support Nightswan, maybe?). But aside from that, I'd just go with Guts and check the Game Room :)

"Curious. What kind of things would make their home in the royal apartments that are beyond the control of the master of this place?", Mira inquires with genuine curiosity.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"How eloquent. Truly, you touch the souls of the common folk, Miss Greenly.", Mira teases her companion, albeit in good spirits.

Then she turns to the Count:"Are there any personal effects you wish to retrieve? You were civil about this matter - if allowed, I'll return the favor. You understand we can not let you or your associates roam freely right now, but If you name some things of sentimental value and where they are, I will go and fetch them for you."

I mean, she dislikes the man and would not have been sad to see him try something and subsequently gone - but he may have spared innocent lives by not escalating it - if theres stuff like paintings from kids, mementos, some book, whatever, then she'll fetch it for him. As long as she can find and carry it and it's neither magical nor in some other way suspicious.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

For my part, I'm perfectly fine with the outcome.
Mira is not a great Fighter - she has options, but definitely also prefers to talk, deceive, flirt and scheme.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Mira leans against the Wall near the Window, observing the situation while absent-mindedly playing with her hair while keeping her other hand near the Longsword at her hip.
She attempted to take in the whole picture - the Count, his cousin, the others - their arguments and responses fell short, and they knew that. She did not expect them to throw their lives away, but if anybody was about to do something rash, it would be now...
Sense Motive(to read the situation): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
She was quite unable to get a read on them, which made it all the more important to be ready for anything.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Baiting: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (17) + 22 = 39 (via Bluff)

When the new set of people arrive, Mira turns her attention to them, addressing Lord Titus as he slips his dueling sword away and steps forward towards the assembly. "Ah, what little honor guard could be mustered arrives as well. And if you are not here to fight, then doubtless you came to bear witness to your cousin surrendering the Birdsong Palace? Worry not, safe passage will be granted to all of you. I mean, surely you would not presume to speak in place of your cousin, right? Or did you mean to imply he can't hold his own in a verbal exchange?"

That should be two false binaries(fight/surrender; be silent/insult Count), I hope that works for Baiting.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Unfortunately by raw not, HIS sense motive takes the penalty, the DC to intimidate or diplomacy him is lowered - but it could possible be argued that it could apply for this part of verbal duels as well, if GM wants to :)

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Mira remains silent, for now, but trusts Greenly and Drogan to remain alert about their surroundings, while she subtly focuses her gaze on the Count.

-2 on Will Saves, his Sense Motive to counter Bluffs, and to Diplomacy and Intimdate DC's made against him.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

I guess that answers that question :) Albeit I think right now it's Amandines turn to banter with him.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

This has Verbal Duels. - I'm fine either way but a 1 vs 1 duel imho is ill-suited to pbp...so if anything we'd need a team vs team one.

"Certainly does sound like a trap. But what's an intelligent, civilized soul to do...", Mira smirks, keeping her blade drawn and staying in the middle of the group, following whoever takes point towards the stairs.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"Have it your way, but try not to bleed on the furniture.", Mira shouts coldly at Titus and his cronies, while drawing her sword and approaching the door, to see if it is locked.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

Well, seeing how it's hearsay about where in the mansion he is, I think shooting it through some open window would not really "count" as "delivered to person", we might absolutely shoot it into some remote guest chamber that nobody will enter in the next couple months.

So I think knocking on the door, then loudly reading at the front steps if nobody opens is the go-to in this case.

I do not have access to it, but I think with our entourage we will find someone that can provide spellcasting service or a scroll for Clarion Call.
This seems like one of the niche applications for using this spell, making sure everybody on our side and inside the palace will hear what is said.

HP: 46/46 | AC: 18 / T: 13 / FF: 16 | Fort: +5, Ref: +9, Will: +13 | CMB: 7, CMD: 19 | Init: +2, Perception: +8

"With all due respect, Lady Bethony, we cordoned off the grounds. His guards fled - our march here was not a fast one, with the entirety of our entourage, and word spread...which is why those of his underlings with a brain decided to leave. Look at the torches surrounding the grounds. He knows, and he knows we are here, and he decided not to come meet us. I do agree that formalities have to be fulfilled, but for all practical purposes, we already have his reply. He will not come personally, he will not leave voluntarily. In that light, it would definitely make sense to consider our priorities - securing the charter and cutting off the circle are both instructions independent from forcing Count Lotheed to vacate the premises - fulfilling those objectives before he has a chance to meddle with either of them could be preferable, under the pretext that we were looking for him to deliver the news in person.", Mira suggests.

She was afraid that Amandine would insist on attempting to meet with Lotheed, but then, with all the spectacle they arrived with, there was no element of surprise involved on their side, anyway - still, she would have preferred dealing with Lotheed last out of their stated goals.

Just IC stating my preference for doing the other things where we theoretically know their static position on the map first, THEN look for Lotheed, but I'm fine with any approach.

"So...we have no idea where he may be hiding...what do we do first? Secure that Circle and shut it down? May also encourage the Count to surrender...if we want that.", Mia suggests - albeit her tone of voice makes it seem more like an inquiry.

I do have access to many maps from diverse AP's on a shared space with friends.
I took the liberty of replacing yours with a un-blocked one and added the second floor below.

As Greenly said, thanks for doing a great job running this, if we can take minor things off your load, I'm happy to do so.

Good to go, too, just would like my weapon :) Plus as said, each of the relics should be with someone so that they can acquire a triumph(I do suspect ousting Lotheed and reclaiming the place for the Princess might count as such).

Greenly has the Ring, Meraki the Mask, Drogan the Crossbow, the Longsword should go to Mira, no others were mentioned but if there is anything else Amandine should take it with her.

"Well, it sounds like it will be dangerous, regardless of our efforts.", Mira sighs. "I did receive some basic training in the use of Longswords, albeit I can't say I ever excelled in it. I do have some tricks up my sleeve, but I've never been much of a fighter."
She turns to Amandine:"Still, it would feel better with a weapon in hand, if you happened to have a well-crafted sword I could borrow from your Armory?"

I never got Koriana's Blade - as I swapped the build from Whips to Longsword specifically so someone would make use of it, It'd be great to have it, now.

As the evening goes on, and some guests already retreat to their chambers, Mira has Amandine's servants bring a harp from a different part of the castle into the dining area.

She was no virtuoso, but her family had insisted on a musical education, and she was decent enough.
Perform(String(Harp)): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Perform(Sing): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

She provides some music in the background, not loud enough to interrupt any conversations, but hopefully pleasant to listen to.
Her choice of works include classical songs and ones playing up the heroics of regional heros(Baroness Voinum definitely inspired a Bard or two) and tradition, but also newer songs popular with younger members of the audience as well as folklore pieces.(Basically attempting to cover the whole spectrum of possibly audience members.)
For those songs with text, she softly sings along, so that anybody who decides to take a break can listen and relax near hear.

(Some attempt at culture hopefully won't go amiss. Plus per Perform, that was a Great performance akin to small-time professionals)

Haha, two minds. I was like 'ok, someone probably intros her, then she gives a speech' and decided that with the current situation it's not proper for Mira to do that, but some long-term companion should.

That said, I second the aid question.
(albeit it sounds like we already garnered all the support we can, and this is more of a formality.)

An important notice to all my games:

First off, I would like to apologize for putting off this announcement until the last minute.
My wife and I will soon be welcoming our second child into the world.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Congratulations, and I hope everything goes smoothly.

I had #4 earlier this year, so I am well aware of how these times are. You take the time you need, and don't feel compelled to do anything in the near future.
We can always socialize a bit at the party, or talk some more among ourselves and with guests, or just wait for a bit.
That is your kid, we're just a bunch of understanding strangers from some board. Worlds of difference in priority - so again, all the best and we'll read you when the time is opportune. :)

I can empathize...and I'm supposed to be the freaking GM!

Thank you both for that.

English is not my first language, and I often felt insecure about my posts. (even worse after the walls of text during the criminal case).
And this time, I also felt guilty, since I've been wanting to write a "reveal" ever since I asked GM via DM, but never got to it and seemingly held things up for a while by not posting.

For what it's worth, I often felt out of my league with you guys as well and tried to put in extra effort to not fall behind.
So I kind of appreciate the notion and want to give a shout-out to my long-term buddy, low self esteem :)

"I doubt they'll settle. But even if they did, there's precedence for woman leading their Barony. You, Voinum, many others. My uncle, as said, is unmarried - ambitious, but with no heirs yet. If Eutropia and Pythareus indeed work out an agreement, and Martella no longer has need of you, I would ask that you help me take my revenge on my uncle. It may or may not allow me to return home, but it would at least give me closure. I do understand that I am asking much, and you do not have to answer now. But please consider my plea. I have nothing to my name that I could offer you, now, except my continued service...but facing my uncle will be something that I will have to do, sooner or later, even if I am alone. I won't forget, and I am not willing to give up who I am and run forever.", Mira responds to Amandine, and leads into requesting her help in the future.
Might be a side quest if GM so wills, may happen after the AP, or may not even be relevant if Eutropia wins and sentences him to death...*shrug* Just keeping things open there.

**************************************************************************

Oh, Selli will be there, too? That changes everything. In that case, Mira will make sure to acquire a "fresh" fox-fur scarf before the party.

"Hej Selli. I've got a present for you. You see, after your story, I went and asked some...friends, to find out who cheated on you. There was only one that could have been responsibly, so I went to them, and forced them to play the same game with me. They denied everything, but you see, if a Fey is challenged by another, they are not allowed to refuse.", she winks at Selli, "But that is our secret. You can't tell anybody, not even your Father! Either way, as you can see, I still got all of my fingers. The prankster, on the other hand...", she retrieves the fox-scarf from behind her back and presents it to Selli. "It's yours, now when you tell your story, you can close it with another chapter and a happy ending."

She'll take some more time to embellish the story, but since it's not really a focus here, I'll keep it short... :) - and yeah, she totally tells the girl she's Fey, too. Selli's telling so many stories that nobody would even take it serious if she does not keep the secret :D

Bluff, with Silver Tongue: 1d20 + 22 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 22 + 5 = 44 (And she gets -2 on Sense Motive.)
As Selli knows she did not REALLY lose her fingers in a game with a Fey, I'm not sure if that counts as far-fetched(-10) or impossible(-20) - but I think I'm on the save side that she believes that I did indeed find some Fey Fox Prankster roaming the place and won his fur in a game for her...

“That explains a lot. But not everything. Why the boat? Were you the one to set it on fire? Or was that by someone coming after you?”

"I was perfectly truthful on that. I had made arrangements to meet a former employee of Lotheed that promised to have incriminating material on him, but seem to have run into a trap instead. As I mentioned, I was reluctant to put on the trinket that would have allowed my contact to identify me, not seeing someone wearing the trinket that should have allowed me to identify them. I suspect the fire was to get everybody into the water - and I suspect several young woman would have drowned then, had you not come along when you did.", Mira recalls that part of her meeting with the group. "As said, aside from my identity itself, I had no reason to mislead you. Unnecessary lies are just opportunities to mess up your story, with no benefit to be had."

At the party

When the guests that announced their participation are accounted for, Mira also heads inside. She makes some small-talk with people, heading from table to table, while helping with the organizational flow - directing servants where needed to keep snacks stocked and glasses filled.
Definitely not the only one running that, but helping with the staff coordination respectively organisation/running of the party so Amandine etc are free to focus on people.
While at the table with Voinum, Okerra and Atratus, she takes a moment to inquire on how Selli is doing, takes some time getting to know Atratus a bit better, not having met her before, and commends the Lady Voinum on her tasteful attire.
I think she is not vain enough to enjoy empty compliments, but trying to find something to lift her spirits. Some small, minor thing that is clearly meant the way it's said and may lead into a small conversation(which tailor made it, where was the fabric from....to go with the example of attire) - no need to play it out, just saying what I'm going for. And as said, Mira is moving from group to group to make sure everything is fine, this table being representative for her efforts at socialising(though I would like to hear what Selli is up to...she seemed fun).

"Well", she comments to Mira, "this letter changes matters. The mystery is over. I can't keep this letter from you, and I can't conceal Lady Martella's identity from you after you have read it. You know all our secrets now."

"Well...as long as we are admitting stuff about identities...I may have something to say, as well. You see, I was perfectly honest about my motives regarding Lotheed, and how I took up work in Calistrias temple. But before I arrived there, I was Lady Milonia Floria Valeria Fahlspar, of the House of Fahlspar. My family held a barony with a handful of small villages and lands filled with forest - before my father and brother have both been murdered by the high strategos, and under agnatic primogeniture, my uncle inherited their titles, then graciously offered to wed me. I know that he and the high strategos plotted all of it, and even confronted him about it - he did not deny it, but I have no proof. He wanted to have me put in chains to break me at his leisure, but was unaware I learned some magic from my mother before she died. I fled, and found refuge with Calistria in her place of worship. I have hidden my true identity ever since, and take a huge risk telling you. I very much intend to take my revenge, and regain my birthright. I hoped to contact Martella via my actions against her brother, then support Eutropia in her political goals - if she can establish absolute primogeniture and win the crown, I can contest my uncles claim, and be reinstated. Or just be reinstated, if my uncle happens to mysteriously die before then."

Mira pauses a moment to attempt to read Amandines expression, as well as those of the others :"Again, I want to be perfectly clear...I did not intend to mislead any of you. But my uncle placed a bounty on my head, and as such, I keep my origin hidden - from everybody. I have met Eutropia in the past, albeit I don't think she took notice of me. But Martella? I think she'll see through me, and I'd rather you hear it from me than from her. I had not intended to mislead, but expected to only work with you to accomplish my goals with Lotheed, and part, with no one knowing my true self. But this letter changes things...you are working for Martella. Please accept my apologies and allow our cooperation to continue."

I don't want to go too wall-of-text with explanations and apologies...I'll leave it at that and see if Amandine gives me a hard time about it :)

Now...the evening of the party

Mira resumes her role as a member of the Lady Betonys retinue, doing her best to greet the guests and subtly attempts to direct them into match-ups/tables with like-minded individuals, hopefully reducing the chance of arguments or unpleasant events as the amount of wine consumed increases.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34 For greeting
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 To try and read guests...
Knowledge(Nobility: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 ...unless she knows about them.
Oh well, the groupings may not be optimal, but she curtsied very nicely to the people...

Terribly sorry. I'll get the ball rolling again.

I believe it may have been my fault. In the first DM I sent, I stated that I wanted to open up to the party and reveal some details - i.e. talk with them following Amandine showing the letter.

So you may have waited on me doing that - but between clarifying with you and working out some of my own background stuff, it all got delayed more than it should have been. Just saying - I'm quite willing to take part of the blame-

as for prospective guests, I concur, invite everyone, work things out during the party if needed.

Yes, I've been in contact with him via PM, clarifying some parts of my background.

I'll get a post in tomorrow, or at the weekend - that may give some RP potential between us, for now.
(I had meant to post for the last couple days already, but I was very busy with a project and the heat here was draining me of what little energy I had left).
