Background Overview and Physical Description:
Minah Waits for the Sun was born into the Lyrune-Quah 25 summers ago. Wandering the Cinderlands proved a harsh upbringing but Minah showed promise at an early age in both hunting and caring for the land and others of her Quah in equal measure. Minah's mother and father both passed when she was young, leaving her in the care of the tribe. Though well taken care of in the Quah, she has felt a loneliness and certain wanderlust ever since.
Engaging that wanderlust proved fruitful as she has trained with warring Nirmathans, traveled with Varisians and supped with Taldans in Oppara.
After a disagreement with another member of the clan over tribal rites resulted in bloodshed upon her return to the Lyrune-Quah, Minah decided she was better off on her own. Recently wandering far and wide throughout Nirmathas and surrounding lands, Minah has recently come to Molthune to attend a local festival. She arrived too late for the ceremony however, having saved a mountain lion from poachers when leaving Nirmathas. She and the faithful cat, Sasha, are now inseparable companions and arrive looking for adventure.

Minah is short and sturdily built with long dark hair, dark eyes and skin. She is even tempered, slow to anger and kind to most strangers. Like most druids, she loves all animals but does have a disdain for vermin. True to her gifted name, Minah awakens before the sun rises each morning, climbs the highest place she can find and bathes in glory of the morning.

Background Essentials:

1. Minah spent most of her life in the Lyrune-Quah Shoanti tribe that roam the Cinderlands of Varisia. She served various roles within the tribe including hunter, warrior and healer. Her values are reflective of the heritage, traditions and philosophy she absorbed while in the tribe. She places community, family and friendship foremost in importance.
2. Both Minah's parent's died when she was a young child and this still has an effect on her relationships today. Though she was raised by her tribe as a sort of makeshift "family unit", she holds one on one personal relationships in much higher regard. She still sometimes takes jokes and ribbing personally, though this has lessened with her exposure to other cultures and people over the last few years. Minah can come off as overly sensitive at times.
3. When Minah left the Lyrune-Quah the first time, she engaged her wanderlust as most Shoanti do and found the experience quite joyous. On her return however, she felt as though she did not fit in as before. This led to arguments, anger and some mistrust on Minah's part, though truth be told, the tribe treated her no different than it always had. Over a short time, Minah began to hold a grudge against another female member of the tribe who had assumed many of Minah's duties while she was away. This eventually boiled over and led to the violent outburst and subsequent catastrophe that caused her to leave the Lyrune-Quah for good.
4. Minah's journeys have changed her in numerous ways. She is much more open minded to other's viewpoints, culture and traditions and still finds new people and experiences fascinating. She is a confident warrior, battle tactician, and healer who is more than capable of finding water and sustenance in various wilderness environments. She has lately taken on a weakness for good wine and she is easily inebriated after a few glasses. She stays out of arguments and disagreements whenever possible, preferring to let others choose their own paths without her influence.
5. Minah has numerous scars (which she wears proudly) on her arms and legs from training and playing with Sasha, her mountain lion companion. She and Sasha are fiercely loyal to one another, both willing to lay down their life for the other should the situation call for it. Minah's bond with Sasha is somewhat motherly, though Sasha has a fierce independent streak if Minah does not keep her in check.

Minah's Goals:

1. Minah wants to be truly accepted as a member of a successful band of adventurers, seeking glory, excitement and camaraderie along with any just rewards that come along with it. She finds the idea of exploring caves, hidden passages and other underground places enthralling.
2. Minah wants to see, speak with and eventually train a dragon or other mythic, fantastical beast.

Minah's Secrets:

1. Minah seeks to extract revenge upon the woman whom she blames for her leaving the quah, spending long amounts of time secretly planning ways to ruin her life and ultimately end her life. Though she feels ashamed by these thoughts, her still hot anger over the situation burns brightest when she thinks of her homeland.
2. Minah desperately wants a family someday but does not realize she is sterile and unable to conceive. The only true family she will constantly have throughout her life is her pets.

Minah's Contacts:

1. Thoamak, Minah's most recent lover in Tamran. Thoamak is a half orc merchant who broke Minah's heart when she found out he had a wife and child in another village.
2. Pezi Runs to Battle, one of the eldest members of the Lyrune-Quah. Pezi was an early mentor and father figure to a young Minah and she still holds him in the highest regard.
3. Tahano Milhathis, a Varisian hunter who has been paid a small bounty by Thoamak to track Minah down and silence her for good about their affair.

Minah's Memories:

1. Minah vividly remembers the day both her parents were killed by the Ashwing clan of gargoyles in the Cinderlands. She can still smell the iron-like stench of blood and hear her mother screaming as she was dragged away.
2. Minah's first "companion" at age 4 was an imaginary red dragon named Chaand. She still smiles when she thinks of rolling in the grass, blowing smoke rings and riding into battle atop him.
3. Minah still fondly remembers the first time she set foot into an actual city be herself. The sounds, noise, smells and atmosphere were completely different than she imagined.
