Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Good morning all.

It would appear that our GM has gone AWOL, having not posted here for over a month now (and since the 15th on another alias.)

I am sure like me most have felt the slower pace of the game over the last many months has slowed as well. With most of us closing in on almost three years of the game, it is sad to see it end.

I would very much like to continue, but it would have to be at much faster pace, that I have not really seen in the play-by-post medium of the these forums.

If this end, I want to wish everyone the best in their future gaming and lives. Perhaps we will cross paths again.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard waits until the group has left Mayor McBannon's home. She looks to the others as she digs out her small book that she takes notes within. She takes up one of the back pages carefully, "I will send a message to Skyseer Sechim. I figure we have a day or two before the Skyseer will arrive and be ready to ascend to the top of Cauldron Hill. Perhaps we should look on that strange happenings at the Sechim alhahest factory as well as the details of Nilassais arrest in Partiy Lake?"

She takes the time to write out a simple note letting the elder Skyseer that he request was granted and make arrangements to come to the city and asks for a return message of expected arrival. As the group gets back to Flit proper, with flag a messenger and have them deliver the message. She adds a few gold coins for the trek and return message to the Royal Homeland Constabulary within the city.

Do you want to just time jump to continue on with this thread, or pursue something else?

I suspect that we have 2-3 days before the Skyseer gets to us and we are ready. (1 day to send a messenger and have them return with reply, 1 day for skyseer to get to Risur proper and then rest which also gives the mayor to get the goats blood we will need, and day 3 to go and start up and be ready at the top of cauldron hill)

So I am game to follow down the boat lead stake out the factory as well.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

”That sounds,” there is a pause in her remarks as the Mayor describes the spirits and how dangerous it is up on Cauldron Hill, ”Rather ominous.”

”Thank you Mayor McBannon, we will send word as soon as we know when Skyseer Sechim can make the journey.”. She says with a polite nod of respect.

“Unless my colleagues have queries, we should prepare.” Standing and looking to the others if they have anything further to add or ask.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

She give a wave goodbye to the messenger before turning her attention to the Mayor.

As the young bard walks into the office she takes note of how and what is kept, it says something about a person. looking to the man, "Yes please," she turns to the waiting butler, "Tea, two suger's and just a tad of cream please. Or water, if it not too much trouble."

Turning back to their host, "Thank you for seeing us Mayor McBannin, to point, as we know you are a busty man. We have a request, and we are aware that it is an ask. We wish to visit the peek Cauldron hill. We would accompany, Skyseer Sechim to this place. We have some understanding of the dangers, but seek your wisdom in the matter and are making this request to further a case of some importance."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent considers what has been said by the courier and Aslah for a minute before replying, ”While it may seem chaotic, each likely has some semblance of order. Most find some sort of pattern to at least make it appear they have some sort of control of what happens to them.”

As to their suffering, it would be something to alleviate it for those in the most dire of circumstances. I do not know how to help, but hope I can do more with time.” the young woman says as she looks out over the slums.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

"Skyseeer Nevard, thank you for you time here today. We will be in touch regarding Mayor Macbannin's response. Should you be able to arrange a meeting with Gale, please send word." She gives a nod of her head and moves to join the others.

She gives a nod to Alsah, "Sounds like a good place to start. I am sure Mayor Macbannin will hear our request."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent smiles and gives a nod to both of the Skyseeerers, "Of course I am game on both accounts. Finding out who this common enemy might be. No promises but we can speak with with Reed Macbannin and hopefully get you up Cauldron Hill. Anything to help with those on all sides go forward together is good for everyone."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard does give a brief pause before starting, "Heward Sechim, your nephew I believe, mentioned that we seek you out. As there is now easy way to break bad news, Nilasa Hume, has passed under questionable circumstances. Heward, mentioned that you, Sir, gave a warning of sorts, 'An adopted daughter will blindly ride the wind to her demise.'. We are seeking more on this matter, if you have any more information or insight, it would be greatly appreciated."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The young bard has joined Alsah, yet remains quietly behind and to her left. In the presences of the elder Skyseeer she does give a a small bow of respect as she is acknowledged. With a small smile she does give their own Skyseer the opportunity to respond.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Moving back to the the carriage up the hill after collecting the weapons strewn about.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent gives a nod and smile to the bandit person they have speaking with, "Thank you for your time today."

"Perhaps we should gather our things and best to move on soon." she suggestions to her fellow Constables. While there was perhaps some information to still be gotten, it was better not to antagonize this group any more than was needed. Not to mention, who knew how bad the health of the elder skyseer was in. Time here was perhaps lost there once we arrived.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent was kind of confused about the interaction they were having, who was kidnapping who and the like seemed unanswered and now their attacker's seemed to be walking away. She watches the interaction and lets out a chuckle as she thinks to herself, 'Someone is more than a little passive-aggressive.'

She does nod to Alsah: Taking what weaponry was laying about would be a benefit rather than being found by others.

Playing the good little diplomat she does looks to the departing group of bandits and says in a genuine way, "I am sure that you understand that there are some matters, that are not to be discussed with the public just as I am sure that if I asked where your," she pauses a moment considering what to call them, "party has set up camp within the woods, you would not tell us. Not to mention, you and yours did attack us, so taking offence to the fact that a group of Constables has business that most likely has nothing to do with yourselves, is pointless. You do you though."

If we might inquire, why was the the woman, Morena was it, kidnapped as you say? And by who?" She asks with some curiosity.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent does join the others, still having her bow out, but no nother sign of hostile intent. At the mention of being a long way from home, again, she comments polite but firmly, "City or wilderness, matters not for the Royal Homeland Constabulary."

She then lets the matter drop at the mention of a kidnapping, "What is this matter of a kidnapping?"

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard will remove the arrow from her bow, to show she has no intention of firing in for the moment. She does however cast a healing spell on Adam who stands beside her, he was not looking well. While not much, it is something.

Cast Cure light wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

She turns to man and whispers, "I can try again, but it may have to wait until the conflict has been settled"

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Do not forget bonuses for Inspire Courage (+1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.)

Not sure if everyone has been including those for attack and dmg.

I have it up and lingering performance has it until the start of my next turn.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard attempts to resist the spell once again.
Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Millicent has little trouble staying out of the reach of the vines attempting to entangle her making the most of her movement to escape the spell's area of effect.

(Double move out of Entangle spell
Inspire is still active until the start of her next turn)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Plan before entangle was to use Silent image to create 8 or so illusionary Risiry soldiers. At least give them other targets an/or make them rethink that we have more people than we presently do. But I have at least another round in the entangle (which includes a new save to see if I am stick as well)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The woman agrees with Alsah about this druid spell for sure. As she tries to slide out of the vines grasp and is able to do so. She then then moves a short distance forward in an attempt to escape.

- Move action to escape
Escape Attempt: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 (success)
- Move action (15 ft due to difficult terrain) to move towards the outer edge of the entangle
- Do not continue inspire (lingering performance keeps in effect for 2 of 2 rounds remaining)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

(sorry skipped right to entangled condition and not the full spell, moved back, escape check (failed) and inspire)
Escape Artist is escape: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard seems to take in the scene and considers her action just as she and her colleagues are hit by the entangle spell. Millicent does not fair well, but slowly moves forward a short distance before calling out to inspire the others, "We can get out of and through this together!"

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
(Failed saving throw. Move 15ft (half of 30 ft for move action due to entangled) to position, Inspire Courage (+1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.))
(Temporary AC 12/10/10)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent was reviewing her notes humming a tune as the group made there way into the Cloudwood. As the carriage comes to a stop she joins the other exiting trying to gauge what was happening. With a cry of help, Dr Runemace and Aslah moving of she draws her short bow and moves after them

”Let us see what the trouble is.” the woman says quietly to those around here. When she spots motion ahead that might be causing the issue she moves into the foliage and tries to hide.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Reminder to all

Docker’s Jank:
You may select up to four allies to be affected by this feat. Once per combat, each ally may, as swift action, attempt the aid another action, granting another ally either a +1 bonus on his next attack roll or a +1 bonus to his AC.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

As they began to exit she thought about their next plan of action. Along with the Skyseer in the Cloudwood and the Danoran Consulate. There was a mention too of a document of a contraband raid from the Parity Lake law enforcement.

Millicent moved with Dr. Runemace and the i formation gleaned was interesting yet there was no easy connection to Nilassa. She jotted down the information before asking, ”Mr. Sechim, was there a day and time when these buyers were to return to conclude the sale?”

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

"Thank you for your time Mr. Sechim." the woman says in earnest. "And again, sorry for your loss. Should you recall anything that you believe is relevant or any other matter, feel free to leave a message for us at the Royal Homeland Constabulary Headquarters. We will follow up with you as soon as we are able."

She looks to the others to see if they are aslo done with there questioning or if there is anything else they wish to look at before departing.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Know (Local): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

The young woman nodded at the name of Nevard Sechim and wrote down in her book as they continued through the factory to Heward's living quarters and listened to the man's out pouring.

She considers a moment and adds, "A, parent can only do so much, Nilasa seemed to be her own woman and made her choices. I hope you do not dwell to heavily on what might have been. I am sure you had many good moments as well."

Hopefully that eased some of the man's pain but now to work, "Would it be too imposing if we looked at where Nilasa stayed? There is more to her, passing, and we wish to have all the facts of this, incident."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The woman gives a Witch a nod at her observation of the men playing guards

"Cannot fault the good woman there, protesting for their husbands, sons, and brothers, when all the workers are asking for is better working conditions. Heck, if someone tried to lock me in, from leaving, I would riot too! I cannot believe such practices are legal."

( Which begs the question, is locking people in a workplace until they reach some quota legal? )

The woman has a frustrated look on her face, wanting to help, yet is presently here on another matter all together. She approaches the Sechim’s Alkahest & Etchings, looking to the trio before them, "Excuse us, we have business with the proprietor ." And starts to move past them not really awaiting for a response.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent nods and writes the information down. She looks up and comments aloud in her thoughts, ”So some of the staff were drugged to feel more compliant as the young woman appears to have consumed an invisibility potion to do a task of some type within the Danoran Embassy, is somehow seen by the Chief of Security and is chased perhaps thrown out the third floor flies for a short duration, is shot, and falls upon the fense of the Embassy. An, odd matter in deed that needs more answers.”

”Shall we head out, appears we will be busy hunting down more answers to many questions?” she asks of the group.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Good day to you Dr. Runemace. Glad to have you on the team." The bard says in a welcoming manner. As the dwarf rattles off his discoveries, she makes notes of the finds within her notebook.

I am not sure how the specific places lay out within the city, but Dr. von Recklinghausen (the Danoran Embassy again and then to Heward Sechim?

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

All done and ready to continue.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard nods to The Band members, "Thank you for your time."

She looks to her fellow Constables, "Agreed. Let us head back, it has been a busy day."

She departs from the tavern while reviewing her notes.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Good to know Kortemir. Apologies it is taking so long. Part of the play by post process I suppose. Hopefully we wrap it up here with the Band here soon.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

At hearing Jared's answer regarding the Cloudwood and a group that she dealt with she attempts to recall coming across any such information in her time here in Flint.

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The bard moves along with Preacher after once again giving her condolences to the Professors.

She keeps her demeanour and tone neutral as she keeps to the mans left, "As my colleague has mentioned, we are sorry for the loss of your friend. We are merely seeking information about Nilasa to discover the truth and discover the circumstances of her passing. Anything you can share, would be most helpful"

Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 Success +2 to check

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent was worries that this would happen.

She does speak up in a calm and somewhat softer tone says, ”Unfortunately no. I am sorry to say that Nilasa has passed. Hence our investigation into the circumstances that lead to her passing. I am sorry for the loss of your friend.” she lets she shock of the matter settle into those assembled.

Diplomacy to break it as gently as possible: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent nods at Hennet’s comments on his finds of dragons no less. It would be interesting conversation if not for the investigation of Miss Hume and her demise. The bard is surprised that Preacher mentioned her death but awaited the answer non the less as she spotted her colleague looking towards ‘The Band’ across the establishment. She too was eager to move on and see what actual information could be hand from them. She turned her attention to Hennet and his answer, if he had one.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

"Thank you," the woman says with a nod. Millicent looks about at the Professors and asks as she takes up her small note book and a pencil, "We have been informed that you know one Nilasa Hume, could you tell us about the young woman? Especially anything of note that you might have noticed from the past two to three weeks?"

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent's brow raises and asks as the comment does not appear to make sense, "Your questions do not appear to be a rebuttal of our answers, unless you intend to tie in your current questions with the previous?"

"Again to continue with answers, any size of group can always separate from the society at large. Whether that is accepted," the woman gives a shrug, "That is another matter unto itself. For a minority to have any real sway over the majority that is, I believe, somewhere in the neighbour of twenty-five percent where they can see a change to the majority."

"To you second question," She takes several moments to consider, "One can generally define a harm, the example my colleague, " she motions to Adam, "Of one causing injury of some kind to another, that for instance caused their death is harm. Stealing from another, is harm. What makes us better arbiters, training." She smiles as she continues to explain, "The person who is harmed by an action, is truly the only one who can say whether they are indeed harmed. We, through out training can only interpret and identify said harm. Are there those that are wrong, yes. Are there those that whether by choice or not fail to see harm, yes. We can only do our best to make such a determination and act as is appropriately."

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Happy Holidays to all!

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Apologies for going a little deep into social order. Went down a small rabbit hole with that one and all that followed it. :)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

"Good evening, I am Millicent. I am sure that there is much to debate law, order, and who or what might give me," she motions to her colleagues, "Us, authority, whereby a citizen would be compelled to answer to that authority." She smiles. "We of course, want to ask you about an individual that we have been led to believe that you know. Answer, or don't in my opinion, you have the free will to make choices you deem in your best interest."

She does give a shrug, "But, to appease your query. Social order. It is how institutions, groups, and values work collaboratively to keep a society stable and in order. To define social order as an aspect of stability that exists to deviate society from chaos and disruptions. It means when individuals abide by the social contract by observing the law, norms, rules, values, and standards. Social order can be observed in various aspects; it is referred to as laws and regulations in governmental institutions. Also, it is referred to as standards, values, and norms in communities, formal and informal groups, and society at large. Our society will have values, morals, and traditions to uphold its stability and move forward with daily operations through social order. In addition, it plays a crucial role in deviating individuals from illegal activities such as robbery that will lead to chaos, thus affecting social order. In this case, our beliefs rely on the morals and values within our society; social order evolves with the evolution of society. To that end, as law enforcement, our role is to keep the social order, by a social contract that most within our society, for instance, agree to partake in."

The woman give a nod to Rinus,"There are many aspects within my mere statement that can debated, but as I mentioned prior for me, help us or do not. We want to find out the truth of what happened to a young woman, who has died." The young bard says the last, with a sombre note.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Millicent holds up her hands at the jab and warning, "Do not worry, we do not mean to trouble Mr. Sechim, just ask him about Nilisa. He may know or have some insight that might help us in getting to the bottom of this poor woman's untimely death. We," she motions to her colleagues present, "Want to find the truth of of this matter, it is the least we can do."

"Thank you for your help, Grimsley." she says sincerely.

She looks to her colleagues, "Professors first?"

(I flipped a coin for one or the other...did not seem to matter much)

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

"Before departing, do you know of a Heward Sechim, he has been linked to Nilasa? We should speak with him to find if he knows more of the young woman and her actions and motives," Millicent asks.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

The young woman eyes the conversation and sees the Preacher speaking intently. She takes her mug towards the bar and sits on the opposing side of a fellow Docker. She nods to the man, “A pleasure to finally meet the famous Thames Grimley. I am Millicent. I hope my colleague has made a convincing appeal for your help in this matter. I assure you we want to find the truth of the matter.”

@ GM Fanguar: It does indeed start at 2

"... If you choose Docker’s Jank as your character’s theme feat, the party’s Prestige with Flint starts at 2 instead of 1. ..."

The others that have prestige are Vekeshi Mystic starts at +2 with Unseen Courtand Yerasol Veteran Risur starts at +2 (which we had, but characters that have since departed)

@Dr. Kortemir Runemace Welcome!

I have added you to the Skill Tracker google doc to see who has what.

The bard gives Grimsley a nod of respect back and as she passes by Alsah, she whispers, "Sechim is not presently here, but both he and Nilissa come here often in the evenings."

With that said she moves back into the crowd and makes her way towards Thames yet not seeking him out within those around him, taking up a small table to the man's left. Sipping her drink she makes that eye contact with the Grimsley and smiles and waits to see if he will join her or not. All the while listening and watching the establishment.

Human Bard Lvl 2 AC 14/12/12 / HP 21/21 / F+1, R+5, W+3 / Init. +2 / Perc. +5 / Sense Motive +8

Would the Flint be at +3 as a docker starts out at +2 plus the +1 to all of them?

As the woman moves about the room she attempts make to make small talk, she buys a drink or two, before moving on. She is working her way through the many differing folk dropping a query or comment here or there about Nilissa and Sechim. Nothing too intrusive, yet still trying to get anything known by those here in the Thinking Man using her various skills of diplomacy and performance as a story teller and comedian

"Evening boys. Not been a pleasant day out there I here."

"You heard about that nasty business at the embassy?

The young bard has heard of the Thinking Man from her first few months now in the city, yet has ventured here to check it out. With settling in and just so much to see and do it was not high priority. Before entering she cautions her colleagues. ”Do watch how you present yourself. The Thinking Man is know for its anti-establishment patrons. Many are scholars and artists, but the everyday worker too. We would do well not to be run out by an angry mob.” the last past is only partly said in jest, as she knows that could escalate should tempers flare over perceived wrong.

While the jolt from the shaking ground is a concern, she notes the time within her book, she pays it little mind as she moves into the room. ”Meet you all up at the bar shortly,” she says with a smile as she moves into the crowds to get a lay of the land so to speak.

”Perhaps leave the consulate for the morrow, or have another pick up the relevant paperwork on the Doctor? We could than focus our efforts on the Thinking Man and finding out about our victim?” the bard says looking to the other of how to continue in the later part of the day.
