I like starfinder and I played the first editon. Second edition has let me and, I expect, many other players by being a 60% game with only 6 classes. The playtest featured all 11 but what happened..? So, over a year past the release and we're still waiting for the Tech Core to restore some of the missing classes, like the Technomancer, which I can't play cos it doesn't exist at present in second edition. I'd like Paizo to answer this.
I've just seen this and I agree that it's wrong. Allowing stuff like this can lead to a black market which eventually can have a dire effect on the living campaign.
As others have said, it might not be illegal but its wrong and can have bad consequences for all said with respect to all.
I have found that there is a lot of min/maxing amongst some player types, like Will Johnson I love to see a player taking options and skills that enhance his or her character in a roleplaying sense. It adds so much to the game for everyone concerned rather that working out the best way to achieve high results coupled with a die roll -we have computer games for that.
I had a great time, I managed to do both 3 slotters; First Steps and Shades of Ice. I had a great time and found them to be enjoyable adventures. The First steps series is a great way to introduce pathfinder to players both new and old. My Character Noire found her calling after being a 'guest' with her Grace, the Paracountess. The Shades of Ice series was really good although from what we experienced the final encounter might need tweaking -would advise a closer look at the tactics and placement of the NPCs in the final battle. Both Paul and Dan provided the groups in which I was involved, a great deal of entertainment. I didn't get to play in Blood under Absalom but my character was 3rd level (there were fewer tier 3-4 places available but I realise, being a Conception and living campaign veteran, that players cannot always get a game) and I couldn't play down for this special. I gracefully gave up my place on a tier 1-2 table so that someone else could have a game. I hope Blood under Absalom will be run at other conventions so that players that missed out can get a chance to play. (In this I'd put forward a suggestion that players , not characters, who haven't played should be given priority to play if it is.) But I did have a really great time playing and I really am looking forward to attending more events in the coming year.

Many thanks for this and yes, I did have just two GMs as named, both made the adventures very enjoyable. Mikey
To Pathfinder Society, I played my first ever Pathfinder adventures with my rogue, Noire, during Conception 2012 (event code 10365). Unfortunately, I've discover that I put the wrong number down on the GM player record sheet and the chronicle sheets for the adventures. I wrongly put 20874 instead of 20876 which is the correct number. As I don't know how to contact the society, I am placing this post so that it might be sorted out, I believe that the player who received 20874 may have done the same adventures as I have. The Adventures were; GM Paul 3017
GM: Dan Jewell 2927
I really loved the adventures and I'm looking forward to becoming more involved with The Pathfinder Society and playing loads more both in home games and Organised play. |
