I took out the 500 character limitation on the RSS format feeds. Let's see what that breaks!

Atom feed seems to work fine - the RSS one doesn't seem to bring in the full post yet. I'm using Google Reader BTW. Anyway, work-around in place - thanks!

All paizo.com RSS feeds should contain the entire contents for each item. Do you have an example URL for a feed that doesn't?

I've been using:

http://paizo.com/paizo/blog&xml=rss

I have to click the title of each post to get the detail...
Should I be using something else?

Thanks,

Migar

Is it just me, or is the RSS Blog feed pretty useless without the full content of each post... Was there a policy change that I missed?

Will this product be required to play through the second adventure path?

My issue 149 arrived this morning in Dublin, completing my set! Thanks to all for getting this figured out.

Hey Christian:

We are still waiting for the postal strike in the UK to end so we can mail out replacement copies.

According to the BBC, wildcat strike action in Liverpool ended yesterday (and there is no general strike).

Issue 149 was shipped in August by TPFG and if you haven't received yet, you should email customer service. We are gathering names of folks who haven't received 149 and 358 so that Cerberus can send replacement copies.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the clarification.

I have emailed customer service about issue 149, do you have an estimate of when these replacements will be shipped?

Thanks again and sorry for being a pain,

MF

I got an email from Cerberus today and they said that all the magazines are out the door. It took them longer than they thought it would to get them all out, but as of the end of last week, all the magazines for all the addresses they have went out.

Hi Lisa,

Sorry, just to clarify - all the issue 150s have gone out from Liverpool (the last ones on the 28th Sept). We should wait until 19th October to see if issue 150 arrives to be sure that it's not in the post?

But for those of us who are missing issue 149, these have not yet been shipped - is that correct? Do we have an expected date for that shipment?

Thanks,

MF

I will let everyone know when they say that they are all out the door. Once 150 and 359 are out the door, we will start to take requests for replacement issues that are not 150 and 359.

I don't understand why they are not shipping out 149 first. Why is that?

I got my physical copies yesterday here in Dublin, they shipped on 23rd August. Strange thing was, the envelope had a franking mark on the front saying that it had been incorrectly sent to Iceland. I guess the Icelandic postal system is a bit sharper than the USPS...

:)

Awaiting the last two issues 149 and 150 in Dublin too. I'll let people know if they show up...

I use PCGen for character generation (might be a good idea to create a Pathfinder dataset) and CC2Pro (when I have time) for overland maps. During play I consult d20srd.org and we keep our campaign notes in a php CMS, but I'm going to switch that to a MediaWiki installation.

I use PCGen too. Not only for the character gen stuff, but also for setting up all the NPC and monster encounters beforehand and then I run the in the GMGen tool that is included (which also calculates all the XP). Since Pathfinder is OGL content, there should definitely be a group effort to develop a dataset to support any new monsters, items, feats and what have you...

I thought I'd mention that I've created the pregenerated characters in PCGen and I'm working on the NPCs, monster race, and items as a loadable dataset.

Are you going to get this bundled in the datasets that PC Gen release? Since Pathfinder and GameMastery are all OGL, then I suppose Paizo wouldn't mind. Would you? It would be fantastic to have these all coded up for PC Gen.

Nothing yet; busy busy at Paizo doin' stuff. We'll get them going ASAP, but I'm not sure when that'll be. Hopefully soon.

Now that the dust has settled and we are all looking forward to Pathfinder, can I ask about the supplements again? Will they be maintained on the site indefinitely? Will we get supplements up to and including issue 150?

Thanks,

Migar

This is what I'd hope for:

Issue
Adventure Name
Level
Category (Low, Mid, High)
Setting (FR, Eberron, Generic etc.)
Type (Urban, Dungeon, Wilderness, Side-Trek etc.)
Edition (3.5, 1st, Alternity etc.)
Notes (<Adv Path Name> 3 of 12, Sequel to XXX in issue 32 etc.)

But really, this stuff would be great in excel format, in the magazine itself you'd probably have to lose some of it :(

Well the "U" series might fit into Ptolus, but having the Church of Lothian already built in would be even better.

Must admit, I was rather disappointed when the index wasn't in the latest issue.

At the very least, I'd like to see the index appear in a special online supplement. Even if this was updated every six months it would be great! Please find the space for the 16 pages in some pdf as soon as you can.

Dagobert is right though, a searchable resource available on the site would be ideal.
