He'll be a 4th Fighter [Seasoned Commander]

Background:
Michael, called Mickey by friends and family, is the epitome of a combat veteran. His father was part of the Texas 9th Calvary during the Civil War. Mickey was a product of the post war reunion of his parents and born in 1873.

At 18 he left the family ranch near Bastrop, and joined the 6th Calvary like his father as an enlisted man. He fought under Black Jack Pershing against the Apache in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Even occasionally chasing them into Mexico.

He went up in ranks to Sergeant, before receiving a commission for his cool head in battle. He followed Black Jack to the 10th Cavalry where as a 2nd lt he lead a cavalry platoon of Buffalo soldiers during the fighting against the Cree.

Receiving advancement to 1LT. When War was declared against Spain, he was quick to join the 1st US Volunteer Under Teddy Roosevelt, and joined The Rough Riders (though their horses never made it to Cuba nor Puerto Rico). During h8s stint there in 1898, he became a Capt.

Black Jack Pershing accepted into the American Expeditionary Forves 1st Separate Brigade in 1899 to go to the Phillipines. Earning his Major there. Mickey was a hard charger at 26.

He stayed on over in the phillipines during the Moro Rebellion from 1902 to 1913. He met, fell in love with Amanda deLuz, a phillipine nurse. If she hadn't Been killed in the late part of the Rebellion, he probably would have mustered out in the phillipines and stayed there. As it was he went home to the states in 1914 as a Lt Col. Mickey was now 40 years old and all he knew was the horrors of war.

When call went out in 1917 for the American Expeditionary Force to France for The Great War, under Black Jack Pershing again, Lt Col, Weber was quick to volunteer. Later he made Col and was assigned an Infantry Brigade in I Corps. He stayed fighting until 1920 and then after he was assigned to a staff position in London, where he met Dyllan Mulrooney of MI6. They became fast friends and he did learn there were dangers beyond just War at that point. He returned home to the states in 1925 and worked in Washington DC in Intelligence. In 1928 after 37 years in the Army, he finally said Goodbye. Retired to his ranch near Waco, Texas. Until he received the letter from Mulrooney, which brought him back to London at 57 years old. ...a grizzeled old Veteran whose seen far too much Death, but will never walk away from a fight

Now that the background is done, I can start building

So this Avatar and this name will be the basis of my character. Grizzeled army veteran whose 'seen far too many unexplained things' to doubt.

I'll be steady working on him

M Human 4th Fighter [Seasoned Commander]

Sid looked humbly sorry at Rory as he commented. Im sorry, but with the outlying farms either coming here in case a horde comes, or going into hiding theres been no milk deliverys this morning.

Sid spun and looked at Imara. He grinned ear to ear. Why of course milady! This humble servant is only to happy to please. He bowed deeply and put a several cinnamon and date croissants on the counter. Still hot. Then some Sweet breads made recently. I can offer some water to go with this if you dont have any in your skins.

Then he looked more serious. Imara, I was worried.

soft but firm knocking was on Imara's door. she awoke to hear Sidney saying through the door. Imara. Hurry. i dont know whats going on. Something awful has happened at Ramblehouse. Guards running around. Kurst told me to come get you. Hurry. people are crying. I dontknow what it is...but it has to be bad.

Imara-Thought you were going to be staying at the Boarding house in the Upper Quarter instead ofthe more expensive Ramble House in Inner Quarter. no matters though

Sid had approached Imara as she sat at the Hopespring Well. He worked as a Senior Baker in the Bakery right near the Hopespring and they always met here after he got off work. He always turned ion early because a Baker starts well before sunrise...He had worked a little later preparing sweetcakes for the festival today. It was after dark when he arrived to see her sitting looking at the rising moon playing off the water with the sound of the short waterfall splashing into the spring making music in the early evening. After a few pleasantries they had sat talking ever so briefly before agreeing to head back to their rooms.

an unspoken relationship was present beteen them, though neither had ever broached the subject. Just they had always had this...bond.

They walked in silence and then entered the Halfling Run Home for many in Trunau
