”I do not believe she is his equal but certainly you understand when meeting her that she is powerful. I also detected when she met with Alexander that she may of been using her gifts to influence him to like her more. Whether it was successful or not I could not tell. The 2 of them together, if they have agreed upon terms, have certainly changed the dynamic. Although if Alexander for some reason abandoned his claim she would go to the next powerful as we have seen her change her mind with the Lasombra.”

Michele interjects and starts his tale with his arms spread out, “Well I have a tale to tell. Khay’tall bid, let us say, forced me to accompany him to meet a Setite he was summoned by who was named Keminitri who claims to be a child of Set himself. Alessandro was supposed to accompany us but Khay’tall could wait no longer as he was giddy as a child and we left.“ Michele pauses a moment to collect his thought and then continues ” When we arrived we were surprised as it was a woman that she announced herself as Rimmon, Chile of Nefer Meri Isis, Childe of Ventrue, Childe of Enoch, Childe of Caine. This confused Khay’tall as obviously he had been taken advantage of. I will say I was quiet amused at seeing him stammer a bit but it also made sense why Alessandro was asked to come. She continued to say that she was awaiting an audience this night with Lord Valdemar of Clan Lasombra. She called him the one to be prince and soon her consort. Confused we went to see the Lasombra at Narses former abode along with one of this Methuselah’s aide as she bid Khay’tall to.
When we arrived at the former prince’s Elysium and Leopold Valdemar and his "sister" broodmate, Magdalena was there. This aide announced himself as Amenemope, Priest of Isis, Child of Osiris that represenst Rimmon. Leopold and Magdalena are clearly confused but he asked this Amenemope to get his mistress and he takes his leave. Khay’tall goes on to explain that the Osirians are a bloodline that he thought destroyed and they have a vendetta against Set. He continued by stating why one accompanies this Ventrue he did not know. How this Ventrue came to know of what was supposed to be a meeting with Keminitri he also do not know. He asked the Lasombra that if this Rimmon is an Elder or Methuselah, it should be a potential ally against Alexander no?" They want to meet with her to see how that would play out. Then some time later Alejandro and Savio show up and the 4 Lasombra discuss the sub levels of the Elysium that may hold some others that could be usually or maybe to use as a trap to defeat Alexander. Then Rimmon shows up and after some pleasntires, Tassilo Donadei shadow walks in and claims to be an emissary of Lord Alexander which does not sit well at all Valdemar. When Rimmon hears Alexnaders name and Tassilo confirms it is he of Paris and that Valdemar in not Regent of Venice but Seneschal she decides to leave and seek out Alexander and they almost came to blows except that Khay’tall stepped in and told her he would join then. I asked to join then and with that we left with them and Tassilo to meet with Alexander. Once there Rimmon said that she can’t align with Valdemar as he doesn’t have the strength to defeat his broodmates so how could he defeat Alexander so it was a natural choice to seek Alexander out. Alexander then bade all to leave but Rimmon so they could discuss details. We take our leave and while walking on the beach run into Ranerius and Franz and after parting from them Khay’tall states that it is time to join with Alexander or be trampled. His thoughts were more about either helping or not helping the Lasombra based on if we really thought Alexander would leave Venice. Khay’tall bid me to return to the Lasombra after I spoke with you all. He said it would be best to let them know that I am not aligned with Khay’tall but was there based on our shared clan and what we thought would have been a Methuselah of our clan. So after we are done here I will head back to the Lasombra and then wait for Khay’tall to meet me at my manse tomorrow.” Michele looks at all waiting for the questions or perhaps other information to see where things all fit in this puzzle.

“ Wait wait, I believe in passing that my sire mentioned this name Lazarus as a non Setite Cainite that frequents the Egyptian Courts and is at least an acquaintance if not ally of the Followers of Set. I can’t remember why he had mentioned it.”

Michele returns and hands the glass to his brother. "Drink and then start to make preparations for your journey. I wish you well."

"Brother you are right. I have not had time to think or rest since my return and fathers' death. I shall make inquiries into what occurred.
For now I believe you need to make arrangements to strengthen father's old partnerships as you are the future of the family. You must travel to his main trade partners and let them see ands hear you. When you return i will relinquish control of the family so I can rest. I will certainly be here to help you as needed but not the day-to-day dealings. You must be that future. We need to toast to the future of the Querini family"

If she's here, he's going to find out eventually anyway and probably fairly quickly.

Just didn't know if that was a plot hook/opening to have Alessandro chased and parkour'd thru Venice to final death as he raced to warn the Ventrue. Could be entertaining... in some light. Just not sun... light.

If Khay'tall wanted you dead he would have had Michele stake you and leave you out on the roof during the day, he's not the confrontational type... :-)

”well this is quite interesting of itself and then you have to beg the question why did he invite you to come? To bear witness to her coming? She is one of the top 3 that my clan has essentially called to be captured and dealt with then by the clan for what we misdeeds she has done.” Michele is muttering saying these things and walking back and forth. ”I must feed and deal with my brother tonight.” catching himself Michele pauses

I do know the Elder K'haytall has given his support to Valdemar."

"Fahdi Mohammad? It has been many centuries since your serpent grandsire slithered into by Parisian Elysium and announced himself to me". He chuckles, "I recall his coterie mate Councilor Radek being a belligerent pest, so much so that I had to remove his arms from his torso and promised only to return them when he learned proper manners.

He never did, I believe his arms are still somewhere under Notre Dame, I will have to remember to ask him how he acquired new ones".

i do not remember much but I remember when that scene actually played out all those years ago!
