Is there a way to protect one self against alignment detection from spells and the like, besides the mislead spell? Is there some permanent solution besides casting mislead all the time?

A sheet of lead and some fast reflexes? http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0281.html

Complete Scoundrel (a WotC splatbook) includes planar motes and greater planar motes for giving detect alignment spells false readings, which were good for about a wee if I remember correctly.

I would LOVE to play an Abjurant Cheesewhore!

Prerequisites: Character lvl 3rd, Specialist Wizard School: Abjurations, trait: Cheesewhore, excessive attraction to cheddar, brie etc.

And technically... the monk is still not proficient with it as I quoted from the PRD. If you look at what weapons and armor the monk is proficient with you'll see that "simple weapons" is not included and neither are unarmed attacks or gauntlets. His class feature that gives him improved unarmed strike is technically the only reason he can punch, knee, elbow strike, or kick at all. :)

PRD on weapons:

Pathfinder Core Rulebook p.141: Equipment -> Weapons -> Simple, Martial and Exotic Weapons wrote:

But I'll happily agree that monks are not proficient with gauntlets.

Thanks! I'll work on integrating these into v.0.5.4, which I should now have out some time today. If anybody wants to take a stab at the schools and bloodlines, that'll be great as well (I'll supply a template/format if needed).

Put up a template and I might be able to hit one or the other.

Heck, put up both and I'll see what I can help with. Always happy to speed up good resources :)
