Feats
Child Necromancer
An obsession with death and experimentation with necromancy early in your childhood perverted your body and blossoming magical talent. As a result, your body never aged past childhood, and you are an adult in a child’s body, magically powerful but physically weak.
Prerequisite: Caster level 1, must know at least one necromancy spell of each spell level you can cast.
Benefit: All Necromancy spells you cast are at +4 caster level, and you gain the effects of Weapon Finesse for all Necromancy touch attack spells you use (if you desire). You have –4 Strength, and appear to be a child despite your actual age category (this does not prevent penalties or bonuses from advancing in age categories, or stop the aging process). You are one size category smaller than normal for your race (do not further adjust ability modifiers). If you are a spontaneous caster, you may permanently exchange any spell known for any Necromancy spell you possess in written or scroll form. If you are a preparation caster, you may learn any Necromancy spell you possess in written or scroll form from any list, and you may not select Necromancy as a restricted school. These Necromancy spells may be from any list, can be exchanged at any time, and once gained are cast as spells of your spellcasting class. These spells remain as spells known even if you later lose this feat.
Special: This feat can only be taken at 1st level. If circumstances ever cause a character to no longer meet the prerequisites of this feat, they may choose any metamagic feat they qualify for to permanently replace this feat.

BACKGROUND:
Within the kingdom of Talingard lies an ancient woodland by the name of Cael Bryr. The people living in these ancient woods organize themselves into tribes and worship pagan gods apart from mainstream Talirian society. One such tribe has served Urgathoa the Pallid Princess, goddess of undeath, plagues, and hunger, for centuries. Every generation, a female child is born into their village that are blessed by the goddess with powers over death, but cursed to never grow to adulthood, staying in a childlike body until their death. While all such children are special and undeniably powerful, they generally lack any ambition beyond leading their tribe in day to day life. The most recent blessed child born into the tribes number, named Melisae, rapidly grew into her power and seized control over her tribe, naming herself the Blood Queen and leading her tribe into mainstream Talingard to blend in with the heathen Talirians when she was 24. She insinuated herself into the family of Reinhardt and Giselle Barca, a kind-hearted yet barren couple trying to escape the stigma of their family's past. For 3 years, she corrupted the people of Talingard undetected, poisoning their society from the inside out. She grew the cult of Urgathoa from a mere handful of scattered individuals to an organization of nearly 50 individuals. She grew drunk on her own power, however, and burned a Talirian temple to the ground as a sacrifice to her goddess. Though she covered her tracks well, her hand in the arson was discovered by none other than the High Inquisitor himself. When he confronted her, she plead with false tears and child-like whimpering, claiming that it wasn't her. The inquisitor's magic revealed otherwise, however, and had her shipped off to Branderscar to face execution for her crime. As she was placed in the prison cart, she handed a letter to her followers, telling them to continue their works in the name of the goddess. She also bade farewell to her adoptive 'family', putting on a show of innocence in the hopes of them leveraging some of their wealth to help her escape her sentence. As she arrived at Branderscar Prison, she was branded with the mark of the Forsaken and cast into a cell with others likewise sentenced. As she sat there in the darkness of the cell, she told herself 'If I have one more chance, I will make the Talirians pay for their sins against you, goddess. I beseech your aid, Pallid Princess, in escaping this wretched prison so that I may finish what I started and make the Talirians pay for their blasphemy'.
