One of the guys in my group has brought up the fact that the magic item, "Lenses of Detection," give a flat +5 to perception checks, including hearing based perception checks. Going over the wording of the item, it stats that "These circular prisms let their wearer detect minute details, gaining a +5 competence bonus on Perception checks," which looks to imply that it is for sight based, but it doesn't explicitly state that. So my question is, Do these goggles help the blind hear better? Or are they just good at letting you see things better?
I just got the bundle, and I gotta say I love the class. I just got a couple questions. 1. I think the Tinker Class PDF is out of date in the bundle, or there's a typo in the SMUMFYMAOOF. As it references the "infuse automation" class feature, and I can't seem to find that anywhere else in the base tinker class PDF, so is it just deploy automaton? 2. The ability of the Mechgineer that gives all of his Automatons the Megadroid inovation doesn't remove the restriction of how many inovations a tinker can have out at once, is this intended? |
