My players just made Mythic tier 1 and at least one of them wants to construct their own Legendary Item - has anyone else done this? If so can you post an example or two?

Many Moons Ago I started a thread about the 'Chessiest Horror Movie Ever' - and I got a HUGE response. There were movies mentioned that I had never heard of (and I foolishly considered myself a bad movie fan!).

Now I would like to start a new thread: What do you feel is the BEST horror movie(s) of all time? - Or, what is your favorite horror movie If you prefer.

My top two are:

1) Masque of the Red Death
2) Pit and Pendulum

Did anyone else run into this?

Tonight my PCs tore right through Harrowdroth the Nightmare Beast (Island of Last Resort). I'll admit he did do alot of damage in melee, but for a CR 18 encounter he was weak!

I've been playing DnD for a fair amount of time and I remember the Nightmare Beast from Dark Sun as being an actual terror! If memory serves, it was:

1). The Dragon
2). Nightmare Beasts
3). Drakes

This guy was a pale imitation.

Just a quick question - which I kinda hesitate to ask - is anyone's group planning on playing both 3.5/pathfinder, etc AND 4e? Let me clarify: my group has 2 DM's (myself and another), currently I am DMing AoW. When we are finished the ‘other’ will run a 4e campaign, and this will continue (after that I will most likely run RotRL 3.5). No one in my group understands the 'edition wars' or why they have gotten so nasty - So I was wondering are we the only bunch of 'neutrals' out there?

Sort of an 'Anti-Matter/Mirror Universe' response to the scariest movie thread! Here is my submission:

I just watched a movie called: 'Black Sheep' (AKA: The Violence of the Lambs) about genetically altered sheep in NZ killing and eating people - included in this movie were 'weresheep'-like critters which looked like big 'sheep-minotaurs'. This movie was a comedy-horror flick and was kinda funny if you want to have a bad movie night with friends.

PS: the tag line was: 'There are 40 million sheep in New Zealand and their all Pissed Off!'
