Hi,

This order originally included the final book for the Tyrant's Grasp AP, and the first book for the Age of Ashes AP. I requested that my subscription be canceled after the end of the Tyrant's Grasp AP, and reviewing the order it appears that was done (thanks!). But the order (consisting now of simply the final book of the Tyrant's Grasp AP) now is sitting in Pending status, with the notation "Waiting for backordered products". Since the AP book is listed as available on the website, I am concerned that this order is hung up in the system somehow. Can you please look into this, and send the product (which I assume is available)?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi,

As stated in the title, please cancel my Adventure Path subscription after the final chapter of Tyrant's Grasp, before the 2E AP starts.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi all,

I run occasional one-shot adventures for friends of mine who don't have the time for/interest in playing in a campaign. Since they are not regular players, I do a lot of prep work to create characters, and provide all the relevant information for their PCs (e.g., feat and spell descriptions) to make it as easy as possible for them and to minimize lookups from the one set of rulebooks (mine) which we will have available. This means I don't want to spend additional time actually creating an adventure, and so I am looking for some suggestions which meet the following criteria:

a) can be run within a single six-hour session (I am willing to cut down a longer option if needed, but any PFS scenario should be meet this one),
b) has a "Ravenloft" feel (a request from one of the players - I try to vary the types of adventures I run for these one-offs and we haven't done one like that before)
c) is suitable for a group that includes a 15-year old and a 12-year old (this is less critical - I can always change things that are too "adult" and the kids can actually handle a pretty broad range of stuff).

Any thoughts? Pathfinder Society scenarios are always a good source but I am not sure if there is one that fits the type of session I am looking to run.

Had a funny moment in our S&S campaign last week while running the Free Captains' Regatta. The party had decided to take advantage of the "Walk the Plank" imposition and sacrifice someone to get the +2 bonus on skill checks for a day (they had captured Giles Halmis during the assassination of Corlan and still had him as a prisoner on their ship, so he was the obvious choice). I figured that there were several other pirates in the race who would also have accumulated disrepute during their careers and would do the same thing, so the PCs saw about half the other ships at the starting line sacrificing people as well - just a constant stream of splashes as people were made to walk the plank. The sharks ate well that morning. :)

Hi all,

I am running the AE of RotRL, and our next session should see the final battle with Karzoug. The party all have dominant weapons, and the description in the module reads: "As long as the weapon is carried, it can absorb up to three harmful transmutation effects (such as baleful polymorph or petrification) inflicted on the wielder per day."

My question is, does the transmutation spell have to target the PC in order to be absorbed (so that area effect spells would not be)? The reason I ask is that Karzoug has a lot of transmutation spells on his list (disintegrate, flesh to stone, temporal stasis) which will get absorbed, and since he knows the party has dominant weapons, it seems likely that he would avoid spells that will just get absorbed by the weapons. I'm using all kinds of non-Paizo sources for spells for Thassilonian spellcasters (I like the idea of them having spells that the party/players have never ever heard of), and there are some area effect transmutation spells that I would like to swap in on his prepared spell list in place of the ones listed above, but if they aren't going to be any more effective then it's less interesting to do so.

If Karzoug didn't know that they had these weapons, I'd let him find out the hard way, but it was the creation of those weapons that causes him to take possession of the statue in the Runeforge in the first place, so he has to be aware that they have them, and I can't believe he doesn't know what they can do.
