![]() Marcus Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Marcus shifts his feet to avoid the debris but the sudden cloud wrecks his aim as the wights fall down like rain. Miss change on ready: 1d100 ⇒ 16 Assume an AOO from at least one of them moving through my threatened. If not Tsuras save may change. AOO: 1d20 + 12 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 12 + 2 - 2 = 17 (naturalist, power attack)
AOO miss: 1d100 ⇒ 20 Tsura Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Tsura is also fortunate and the cleric doesn't need her sight to channel. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6 ![]()

![]() Marcus moves forward just before he is under the nearest creature and readies his sword. Hopefully want to be close enough to swing if they fall but not directly under so they fall on me. Ready Falcata: 1d20 + 12 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 2 - 2 = 24 (naturalist, power attack)
Tsura. Can you move up just behind me and get ready to channel energy. If the rest of you keep some distance and start shooting at them they will come down one way or the other. I'm assuming the roof doesn't look like its going to imminently collapse the whole cavern. Unless it looks like Marcus is trying to kill himself Tsura follows reading a channel positive energy. ![]()

![]() Shifting sidewise in line with Tun'ada, Marcus rams his shield into the back of the wight's neck and then impales it with his sword for good measure. Falcata: 1d20 + 11 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 11 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 28 (power attack, naturalist, bulls strength, flank) 1d8 + 8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 4 + 2 = 19 (power attack, bulls strength) Spiked Shield: 1d20 + 9 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 9 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 25
Turning, he scans the dark waters for more undead. ![]()

![]() Cursing that the creatures are in melee with Tun'ada so quickly but assaying that the water is so shallow, Marcus drops his bow on the walkway and leaps down, readying sword and shield as he sloshes across to strike at the most wounded undead from the rear. Free action drop bow, move action assuming difficult terrain but should be no more than 10' away from description. Falcata: 1d20 + 12 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 25 (power attack, naturalist, bulls strength, flank)
I'm deliberately falling 10' into water less than 10' deep so think thats 1d6 damage non-lethal. Not sure if acrobatics makes a difference but here is a conditional check if required: Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Edit: on closer examination thats a DC15 check to avoid the damage which I fail. I do not fall prone though unless I take lethal and can't do that from this height. ![]()

![]() Assuming the book doesn't look like it has anything useful (ie a map or details on the mine). Yep. Lets get started. Can I have a light on my shield? Marcus will lead the way into the tunnels. Willow will you stand at the rear with Chi? Thinking me just in front of Tun'ada, Tsura and Ambroze in the middle, Chi and Willow at the rear unless someone has a better idea. Also suggest casters cast any hours/lvl before we go in. ![]()

![]() Mmmm. Gw..... He is about to say something and then stops. ...I forget that Gwen isn't with us sometimes. Gods she made them jump up and down with that holy energy of hers. He looks at Willow and Tsura. Remind us to tell you about the battle with the "Mother" sometimes. That one still gives me nightmares. We lost a good comrade there, Savarend was his name. You would have liked him Tsura. ![]()

![]() OK check. Wasn't sure if were roaming out ahead or periodically going back and forth. Marcus lays down the marker and scribbles a quick note for Glaur, borrowing parchment and ink from Ambroze. He leaves this under a rock at a pre-determined spot, 15 paces to the side of the marker. Going to see if we can save time by clearing the Fzumi Salt Mine of hazards. If marks stop consider us all killed by undead. Turn around. HA HA. Marcus' sense of humour is a bit of an acquired taste. ![]()

![]() Marcus is heard complaining several times about leaving the comforts of the city behind but for all of that seems in good spirits at the head of the expedition. How many people in total DM? Salt mine hey? Ok thirded. Let us try and make some time up. Its not worth losing anyone though, lets take care. He looks to the spellcasters. Lets let Glaur know what we are doing. You can handle the light, right? Assuming the mine is big enough for the caravans and our animals? Are we enough ahead we can leave the latter behind at the entrance or do we need to take with? ![]()

![]() A trickle of blood flowing down his hide, Marcus easily fights off the snake's poison but his wild counter is evaded. He still seems to be fighting against his new form. Fort: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 1 = 26 (naturalist) Gore: 1d20 + 10 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 2 - 2 = 15 (naturalist, flank, power attack)
Keep them surrounded! We have this! ![]()

![]() Marcus-rhino whirls snorting. With Tun'ada seemingly handling his foe Marcus concentrates on the other snake, lunging forward like a battering ram. Gore: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 (naturalist)
Tempted to power attack but not sure which one Chi targeted with the hex. GM Wageserf has not created a profile. |
