Manny used to be a Licktoad goblin and may of very well stayed one if it wasn't for his curiosity. Manny foraged, sang goblin songs, kept watch for dogs andmade the crowd cheer with his tumbling and jokes. Rumor was that the chief might make him the royal jester! Happy days!
Unfortunatly, Manny came across a chest that had fallen from a wagon that had picture books in it. Manny knew that books stole words from your head, but there were so many neat pictures in the books, surely it would be ok to take just a few?
The tribe disagreed and burned his books right in front of him before kicking him out. Manny will get his revenge!
Manny eventually wandered into Sandpoint and lived in the alleys and ate from the trash bins. The yummyist being behind Ameiko's inn. It was there that Ameiko caught him in the garbage. Manny groveled and begged Ameiko to let him stay, saying that the Licktoads had burned his books and threw him out. Ameiko, (Much to Shalelu's disgust) Took pity on Manny and let him sleep in the kitchen as long as he swept, peeled and took out the trash.
Ameiko is now 100% loyal to Ameiko! While he doens't like others much, he always obeys Ameiko and helps at the inn. He even dances on tables now and then showing everyone what a great jester he is. Happy days!
