Malkvian offended by the goblin charge, moves 5 feet if needed to to flank the goblin with Sumane and then attemps to slice the foul beast in half with his falchion.
attack with Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 confirm critical attack with Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 = 7

I interpreted it the right way. I never tried to negociate with the enemy goblins. I flat out told them I was going to kill them. If I was gonna negociate, I think I would have rolled intimidation. One question. Do I have to wait until Sumane does her turn to tell Malkvian actions?

Shadow over mystara is so much better than both of those games and you know it. I would show my kids, if i had any, games like Descent Journeys in the dark, the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, Marvel Legendary (or dc deck building game) and others like those.
I think that if you want them to like rpg, any of these would be a good start. Just don´t bring something as complex as this on the table or else they will have nightmares for a while just by looking at the size of the book.

I will say this in our language, I think this way, it will seem more sincere. Felicidades hombre!!!!, no pidas perdón y disfruta de tu recién nacido. Aprovecha todo el tiempo que puedas y sé un padrazo. Sí eso luego enseñale todas las frikadas del mundo y conviértele en uno de los nuestros.

Stay down and don´t move guys. Says to the captive goblins. Finally something to offer to Lamashtu, he thinks. I was starting to think this was only a babyssiting job. Lamashtu asks for blood and respect, and he was going to demand it. His blood was boiling, not because of excitement, but for the need to give her goddess something to offer. I would normally try to call you out of this stupid goblins, but it just happens that Lamashtu ask for your fear and suffering, little bastards. Now with a grimm face Come at me if you dare, you´ll know what means to face a messenger of the mother of monsters. Malkvian draws his falchion and points at the baddest of the bunch. You, come and fight like a man. I´ve killed uglier than you.
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
I don´t see anything guys. Are you really sure? I´ll better watch out for the goblins on the rearguard. Malkvian in a very insecure fashion, aproaches the goblins and says: Globs, Just in case, please take your hands tight with those both in your back and in front of you. Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Don't worry. Duty calls sometimes.
Loving this game so far. The interactions have been good so far. Now I want to see how Malkvian does in combat, he is an experiment That I hope works well.
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Relieved that the situation was solved thanks to him, Malkvian quickly recovers his good mood and forgets the nightmarish images he just saw. Not sure that the goblins will behaviour well, he positions himself beetween the goblins and the horse and says to the goblins: Like I said, it is our mission to get you all and this horse to safety. I will possition myself right here so I can blast anything that menaces either of you. Be good and do not try harm our cuadruped friend, or else I´ll eat all your food.
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Before attempt to fool the goblins, Malkvian uses vision of madness on himself, which makes him see the horse as he is a demon for a brief moment. This touch of madness buffs his skill check by 1. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 You see? Just as I say. There is no need to worry guys
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Malkvian quickly aproaches to Octavio and murmurs him: tell your horse to do what I say and then he shouts: Don't run you cowards, he is just a stupid horse we have to transport. Look, I will barely touch him and he will fall to the ground. He is as weak as a baby. If Octavio agrees, he will barely touch the horse with his gauntlet.

Offended by the laughts of these goblins because of Sumane fair attempt to coerce them, Malkvian walks forward to confront these bastards. He thinks they would make a nice offer to Lamashtu, but quickly comes to his senses and with a warming voice says: Okay guys, we must do our best to bring you to safety. I am Malkvian, a messenger of Lamashtu and as you all can see, I´m also a Pathfinder Society member. It´s really cool to be arround these guys, they are really funny and working with them is really badass. And suddenly, he changes his voice to a very silly one. I have an idea, why don´t we play a game during our journey? Let´s all walk at the same pace, okay?
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Malkvian aproaches the half orc woman and with haste and makes an exagerated reverence. Thank you very much fair lady. You can ask me for help at anytime; you have my trust. May Lamashtu or whatever god you worship reward you. With a smile from ear to ear, the young adventurer accepts Sumane's cold weather clothes.
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Nah, he will thank you and acept your generosity. I Just don't want him to be a prototipycal hero. He is just a normal guy thrown in a Hard situation that needs to grow up. I mean, not a Day 1 instant badass. What I wanted to say is that if someone would have helped him in that situation, thats cool. What I don't want is metagame influence our decisions. I would never force other people choices by hard. If a character would have never given that prick his hard earned money and then the player gives him money only because the adventure will be easier With five. That would be out of character and based on metagame only. I Just want to make my point clear. Sorry if I sounded rude;)

This is my character first mission, He is doing some stupid things because he is inexperienced and lacks preparation. He is supposed to look pathetic at first glance. I´m trying to build a character arc. I write this in this post because it is not part of the game and I don´t want to break the mood on the gameplay thread. I don´t want him to wear any cold weather clothes, don´t help him buy anything unless someone has a good reason. Liking the group already!
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Malkvian sees Greldon buying a cold weather outfit and that enpowers his fear of dying because of The extreme conditions of the weather in Frostfur. With shame marketing his face he aproaches the Group and says: Could somebody please lend me eight gold pieces to buy cold weather clothes? I don't have any money left and I think will need it. That or 2 gp per person.
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Understood, but I would like to suggest an idea. Malkvian starts talking excited I would like you to give me permission to interrogate these prissioners during our journey. I think I will be able to get more information than the other team by showing them my Lamashtu birthmark; they´ll think that I am their ally and goblins, as stupid as they are, will talk to me. Malkvian says with a big smile Don´t you agree with me, Mister Valsin?
Male Human (Varisian) Cleric of Lamashtu 1
Greetings fellow aventurers! I hope We all get along and succeed in our task at hand.

I know a player in there (Greldon) and I think I could ask him if I would have any doubt without bothering the others. I am new to online gaming and I don´t want to be a dead weight. Anyway, do what you think is best. It does meet the prerequisites and I had it done a few minutes ago, but the page had him deleted. Time to rewrite all over again his story... |
