History
--------------------
Mal’kolenth grew up in the bustling urban caverns of a great drow city. He was glad his mother let him help around the forge. Most boys were thought to week to preform such manual labor, and indeed he found some of the work quite difficult for he was not particularly strong by nature. But the work also gave him an endurance above and beyond most of his kind. But what he found more valuable was the opportunity to meet and talk with so many of the solders and even a few of the nobles that visited the shop. From the friendships he made he was able to learn how to put his uncanny dexterity to work when one clan or another made a more open power play. He also learned an arcane trick or two.

As he grew up he got enough money to buy his own shop. Fights with bravado driven warriors who thought they were above paying and the eternal strife of those in power and those who wanted it kept his skills sharp. He even got his hands on a few spells to mix in with his swordsmanship.

As much as he loved his home and the friends he had there, one can only take the well being poisoned so many times before getting sick of it. So after what he felt should have been a much harder decision he packed up and moved to a small town near the surface. He made a decent living as a blacksmith and the junk that didn’t turn out was easy enough to pawn off to some stupid tribe of goblins that lived further up the caves. He should have probably been further away when he mentioned that last part though.
