"Very well, Ulwai Stormcaller. You have been vouched for by the Heroes of Elsir Vale, and as such you are welcome to come and go from the gates of this city, but I warn you that we will not tolerate any trickery. You may proceed."

"Should you feel strongly about it, I'd remind you that the only reason you still get to be a magistrate of anything is because these good fellows threw off your shackles and then came to defend you in the hour of need - so you owe them trust if nothing else"

"Indeed I am indebted to all of you for saving Brindol and I will never forget it. I will also look fondly upon my time adventuring with you."

Bofus wrote:
"Believe me, I know a con when I see one--having run several--and you have my word: this is no con. Stormcaller is The Real Deal, and I give you my personal guarantee of her good faith and trustworthiness. And like I told your good Guard there...if she is not allowed free entry into the city, then I shall remain outside the walls as well. This is no threat, but a show of solidarity."

Mantooth Longbrow returns the smile as Bofus grins broadly at him.

"Very well, my friends. I have no reason to doubt. You may proceed in and meet with Lord Jarmaath. I know that he will be just as eager to see you as I was."

"Master Dwarf, what exactly do you mean by nothing? Are you saying that there is no evidence that she is worthy of our trust and friendship?! Speak plainly that I may act with haste and prevent her unlawful escape. I fear that she may already have cast a spell upon all of you."

Several moments later the familar face of Mantooth Lonngbrow returns from within the walls of Brindol Keep.

"Well, look who has returned! If it isn't my dear friends! I cannot speak enough of the elation that you bring to my heart to see your safe return!"

Mantoooth steps up to give you each a hearty clasp of his hand.

"So, what is this I hear of Wyrmlord Stormcaller coming forth as an ally, and one betrothed to Sir Tomkin. Are you certain that she has not pulled the wool over all of your eyes? Did she not inhabit the Ghostlord's Lair and plan the most evil of acts with her wyrmlord thugs? What makes you so certain that she is deserving of your mercy?"
