![]() I just finished the miniature for Lyther's Enterocopter. Render of the ship has been done for a while, and this spurred me to upload both sets. So, first off, the rendered art for the ship. And secondly, the miniature should she ever get to use it at a table. ![]()
![]() (James's -701) You really should upgrade. Hoverpods are harder for your targets to dodge. And if you learn to build them yourself, they don't take as many dents in the process. Here's mine, for example. ![]()
![]() Wow, I hadn't even looked at that. I didn't have much need for engineering before, but as I'm currently leveling AND buying my hover pod... I can spare those skill points... Vehicles don't seem to follow the general guidelines for object hit points, and doesn't state how they ARE derived, so I'm not sure what effect adding 2 levels has on its hp. I think it would be 6hp, as the value for a sturdy piece of equipment is (3x lvl)+15. But other items are listed as 5+lvl, so it might only be 2hp. Don't forget your Reckless Gloves! ![]()
![]() Well, I hadn't planned on making my own art for Lyther, but stuff happened at Pacificon, and she came out a bit... off. Followed by another scenario that went poorly... as much as I liked the old pic, it wasn't appropriate anymore. Went through a few iterations. First one changed to a red & black theme because of stuff that happened, but I just didn't like it. So I used the old gold & black color scheme with the new outfit. First attempts really tried to dial in a sorry/grief look, but it kept coming across as bored/uninterested. So, I gave up on that expression, added more glow-y bits, and tried again. Much happier with how that came out. But still shackled to the dimensions of the table tent. (Roughly 8x5) Decided to also make a more general art version of her. With free canvas dimensions, I really like how this came out. ![]()

Once I realized that clever pilot didn't look very good as there are few vehicles in the adventures I've been in so far, and no chases. Yup. I'm more of a wind-in-your-hair terrestrial flight gal. And the solution to a lack of vehicles is to buy your own. Sure, it's a bit pricy, but have you seen the damage if you deliberately ram someone with a Hover Pod? 10d10 damage! (sadly, a reflex 17 negates). And you can carry around 3 buddies. ![]()
![]() I plan to end up as Envoy 9 Operative 2. Mostly because I wanted an Envoy Ace Pilot and there's not really any synergy there. But 2 levels of Operative gives me Uncanny Pilot, Sniper Weapons, and Evasion. If you're going with Culture as your envoy expertise and Detective as your Operative Specialization, there's some synergy, though the interaction of them both being Insight bonuses is a bit awkward. |
