Damn, that is some bad news. I enjoyed this campaign and setting and I'll be sorry to see it shutter up. Not to mention your characters in the other games where we are both players. If you find yourself able and willing to return to Ethos, feel free to contact me. In any case, take care and hopefully return sooner rather than later.

Time to roll the dice. "Terminus hired a pair of Hunri worshipers to fight us in the street."
Lysimachos nods, and looks to Mowki for his response.

Lysimachos turns to the others. "Suggestions?"

"We wish to find Terminus. And we would know how much company he has.", says Lysimachos.
"By coin or toilt, we must track him down. Let us try coin first." At this stage, Lysimachos' wounds are clearly and visibly nearly healed.
Lysimachos replies to Miles: "The information broker, Mokwi, claimed to know the location of Terminus, but he was asking for 100 gp in order to share that information." He then turns to the priests. "Unless his foes would care to enlighten us?"
Lysimachos grins, the rawer edges of his wounds starting to visibly improve slowly but steadily. "My thanks. This will be most helpful." He awaits the others.
"A meeting in private then, after this is concluded.", replies Lysimachos to Wolfgang.
Lysimachos cracks open the seal, reads the letter, then looks at the newcomers. "Wolfgang. Miles. So we will work together then." He turns to the youth and nods. "I would still gladly accept healing. I have wounds, and soon will have battle."
I've been ill, not sure I posted to all my games. I should be posting again pretty normally once I've caught up.
Lysimachos visibly tenses at the sight, then asserts control over himself. In a respectful tone, he replies in noble Intori, with inflections of the Benthali. "Greetings. I am Lysimachos and this is Lazverinus. I would know who you both are, and what you want of us."
Lysimachos had begun to reply. "I would seek a boon. But I'd prefer healing, as I still bear wounds." He turns to face the newcomers. Lysimachos is a very tall, superbly muscled man, and yet graceful on his feet. Some would call him an exemplar of Intori martial nobility - if they did not look too closely. His dark brown eyes are surrounded with tension lines and his brown hair is thick and wild. His body covered in scars, newer ones more numerous and ragged, and the newest large but well-tended. His hide shirt is well-crafted, and clearly of the style of the Benthali wildrunners. A silver dagger on his belt, a longbow and great hammer of ancient make on his back.
"I do agree that retrieving Parcan should be the priority. But I doubt we will be able to separate the two tasks even if we wish it." He turns to the temple. "What assistance do you offer?"
"Lazverinus, do you believe that Terminus will simply forget us? If he lives, he could decide to hunt us. And I would take vengeance upon him for trying to have us killed."
Lysimachos considers the words of the youth. Then a feral grin emerges on his face. "That is a fine offer and I would accept. Lazverinus, your thoughts?"
Lysimachos faces the young man, impressed by his demeanour. My own change is far more brutish. "We seek Parcan to rescue him. It appears that Terminus has lured him - or captured him. Terminus has already hired thugs in an attempt against our lives." Panning his gaze around the gathered figures, he continues. "So we would hear what you know of both."
"Greetings, Priest of Gakoraki. Do you know of an Intorian boy called Parcan - or a rogue styling himself Terminus?"
I realised that I forgot to update my hp. Two full days of rest for 24, bringing him back up to 31. Feel free to let me know if I missed something!
Lysimachos walks in through the doorway, casting his eyes about for someone to ask questions of. And danger.
"That is understandable.", Lysimachos says with a smile, briefly nostalgic for his own youthful follies. "I bid you a good day, young lady.", and he makes to depart. **** When out of earshot, "To the ousted priest then? We can see if he knows 'Parcan'."
Damn. "I see. Did he name any associates or mentors? Or why he wanted to join?"
"We do not know. We would see him safe. Do you know where he might be, or whom he might be with?"
Lysimachos begins to describe the young lad, using his memory of the picture of Quint and of the Senator's disguise.
"Good luck, Cornel. Return when you are able." ********** Lysimachos interjects. "Have you met a young Intorian, about 14, name of 'Quint'?"
"should not not take lead" even, bah.
Fair enough, Cornel. Take care. Vrog, Lazverinus, what next? Lysimachos probably should take lead in talking here.
Lysimachos nods to Lazverinus. And to Cornel.
Lysimachos feels the weight of his hammer on his back, as he stands in the street in front of the flower shop. He turns to the others and says: "Time to go in."
I'm inclined to bring the hammer.
So final decision on gear. Are we bringing anything less than full load out?
I did earlier say Lysimachos is happy to sell his share.
Lysimachos has 9.05g left from character creation and he won 0.2g betting on Hurian
I say flower shop, then healing shop, then ousted priest. Sound good?
Yeah, that could be an issue. I'd say two days of full rest to get Lysimachos to a reasonable amount of HP and we take it from there. Cornel, Lazverinus, what do you think?

"Lazverinus, my thanks for your hospitality and knowledge. Cornel, for your skill and attention. I believe that we should question the young flowershop attendant and those in the healer's shop, before seeking Terminus."

Lysimachos is pretty broke. But he'd happily contribute what gold he has and his share of the assailants' loot.
Lysimachos says to Lazverinus: "I would know more of the city while we wait, if you are willing to speak."
"There is the equipment that we retrieved from our assailants, should coin become an issue."
"I think that is a wise idea. I will accompany you whenever you wish, but I am still quite injured for now."
"He appeared to think that I was competition for him. Which I am, if not in the manner he believes."
Bandaged and aching, Lysimachos says: "So were there any pieces of information on the numbers and capabilities of Terminus' sub-cult?"
