I don't care, I like Drizzt better.

Weapon Focus: Bite will add +1 to attacks using it's bite, including a trips attempts caused with it's bite.
Low level wolves have a higher dex than strength, so weapon finesse: bite will add dex instead of strength, however, I don't recomend that as at level 7 it's strength goes up by 8 and it's dex goes down by 2. plus, it gains a size bonus for becoming large. (at that point, it's trip becomes very effective)
Improved trip and greater trip would be nice, but they require an Int score of 13, which wolves do not have.

really, you just need to be patient and let it grow up a bit (a.k.a. level up)
Actually I'm pretty sure that wolves get improved trip as a racial feat. Last time I checked, they did in 3.5 MM, and in the PF Bestiary, there is nothing under their stats in print saying improved trip, but it does show a bonus to trips and for resisting them, like a +4 to CMD vs. trip attacks

I made changes similar to what was done to Barbarian's Rage ability, etc.
Let me know what you think.
Dawnflower Dervish of Sarenrae

Converted to PFRG by Dean “Arkadwyn” Kimes
Art by Crystal “Immora” Frasier
The Dawnflower Dervish sect of the Church of Sarenrae is a group of combat-oriented clerics working towards the destruction of evil. They wander the world to bring Sarenrae’s light to its darkest corners.
The first of the Dawnflower Dervishes were desert nomads who spread the faith of Sarenrae through their beautiful sword dances. Eventually other priests saw not only the beauty, but also the martial prowess that these dances conferred in combat. They shared this with the head church, which gave the Dawnflower Dervishes official sanction and status.
A Dawnflower Dervish of Sarenrae uses dance as a beautiful but deadly martial art. As the Dawnflower Dervish dances, she channels a fragment of her patron goddess. In this way, a devout dervish becomes a burning whirlwind of divine justice.

Hey I actually really like this, I might ask our DM about it to incorporate it.

You could even give it Invisibility Sphere, which is only a third level spell

redcelt32 wrote: Okay, the party I am currently running is fairly large, and happens to have two bards in it now. My question is, do their songs stack? For example, these in particular:
1. Inspire courage, competence, greatness - do these stack?
2. Dirge of Doom - two chances to affect the enemy?
I am leaning towards possibly adding +1 to the first two options, and adding to the overall DC of the Dirge of doom if they play together.
Any thoughts on the matter?
For the record, I still cannot believe I have one bard in the party, much less two, but they both devoutly want to play bards.
Yeah, I would probably just add +1 to the first option, and I would just make the DC higher for the dirge of doom. Just because if you think of it as a band, one member might sound good, and adding another person just as talented, would make it sound better. These bardic performances would act like the two bards are working together to do their job, I guess. I was considering even just making it like an aid another check, where one bard would perform, and the other would spend however many rounds of his performance to aid another, giving the other bard a +2 on his performance effect or on the DC. I guess you just have to think of it as if they are working together. I mean, if they aren't, then just treat them seperately. Inspire greatness only affects one ally at 9th level, and an extra target every 3 levels over 9th, so if they are lower than that, just choose 2 different targets.

Let's say you have designed an intelligent magic item with senses. Now you would like it to stand guard over you and your gear while you sleep.
Does that mean the magic item needs ranks in perception to be a better guard? What if it has Blindsense? Doesn't it automatically sense anything it has line of effect to? Would that make a perception rank irrelevant?
Thanks for your input.
Yeah, just give it blindsense.
You can give the item telepathy for +1000 gp to the base price, which will then allow the item to automatically sense and locate anything within its range, and then telepathically communicate with the owner.
You could even make it a dancing weapon, and add the ability to cast greater invisibility 1/day for +11,200, so then the item wakes you up telepathically, it goes invisible, you loose it so it starts to fight on its own as soon as the stealthy guy comes adjacent to you, without him even knowing you are awake,or that there is an invisible weapon about to hit his flat foot. Since it says that the dancing weapon is treated as if the owner is wielding it and uses his BAB, doesn't that mean your extremely expensive intelligent longsword of wounding would get its 20th level rogue owner's +10d6 sneak attack against this stealthy, unknowing attacker?
Remember Droskar's Crucible in the Hollow's Last Hope module? Well I got the idea of making a scale model of the Crucible, like 14" by 20", on my free time. Currently I'm trying to figure out what materials I should make it out of, like styroboard, or balsa wood, but I'm new to this, so I'm not sure. Also, I'm a high school student, so I don't have much money, and I haven't figured out my budget yet. Any ideas? I want to make it look good, possibly even to use in our campaign.
