I would have to agree with Darvesch here on dealing with two forums. I would do as he suggests and either A) switch to the new forum and use IC as the dice roller, or B) stick using Paizo's forum for the main quest and use the other forum for any side treks.

Yes!! One more year closer to the grave! (Hey...if I have to get older than EVERYONE should grow old as well!)

I mean...Happy Birthday Man! (He He.)

"Sash, make sure you bake that cake BEFORE Lissi gets in it!"

Lureene sensed the anxiety emanating through her link with her faithful companion Grak, and glanced over at Mister Lori who was watching Sasha's antics with a pained look on his face.

I don't like what Grak is telling me here...I need to see what they found out here.

She wondered how strong her link was between herself and Grak. As she contemplated heir bond, she felt a pleasant warmth radiating from her locket. She then knew she could transfer her consciousness to Grak's body!

Not wasting any more time, she turned to Mister Lori and asked, "Would you excuse us for a moment please?" Once he has left the bedroom she said to Sasha, "I need to talk to Grak for a few minutes. Can you keep an eye on me? I will be completely...helpless. Don't try anything funny here...this is a serious matter!"

Lureene placed a hand on her bodyguard's arm gently pulling her hand away from the piano keys. "There will be plenty of time to make...music later, Sash."

She nodded to their tour guide, "Yes, please continue Mister Lori."

Glad I caught myself there...

Lureene gazed about her at the opulent decorations of the estate. She nodded slowly to herself in satisfaction as she twirled a lock of hair in between her fingers. I believe Arion will be MOST happy with this abode. I think it will suit his nature perfectly...anyway I HOPE SO...

As she took a seat in the sitting room admiring the decor, she gave Sasha a meaningful glance as the redhead strummed the harp before returning Basilio's remarks, "Forgive me, I should have been more clear. To be honest with you, I really had no idea what to expect here as I have not had time to tour the city proper."

Lureene smiled at her friend's eagerness to see the villa. Well, were there not several riots in Port Eldarion just recently? Still if the place has no damage, it sounds like just what WE ordered.

Finishing her drink quickly she rose to her feet and hooked Sasha's hand in her own. "I cannot wait!"

Lureene sipped her drink and let the tasty liquid swirl in her mouth as she considered what Basilio told her.

A Skybridge? How interesting...I wonder how much if this IS coincidence...WOW this drink sure leaves an aftertaste...but not an unpleasant one!

"Yes Mister Lori, a tour would be delightful! As long as the place has not been completely vandalized, it sounds perfect!"

Lureene nodded to Amhranai as she accepted a glass of wine from the rotund landlord Basilio. "I understand Amhri. This will not take long." She turns to face him, "I certainly hope you do have an ideal apartment available for him to use."

Lureene turned a raised eyebrow at Sasha, wondering what had gotten under her skin. I should ask her when we have concluded our business here. Maybe we can pick up dinner at Victor's; I wonder if the food is good...

Shrugging she waved to Giles, "Of course, Giles," before she turned her attention back to the landlord Basilio. "Yes, forgive me. I would LOVE a drink!"

Lureene took in the surroundings of the office with a jaded eye, having seen such places before during her time long before her arrival on Elsemar. However the appearance of the man who introduced himself as Victor caught her slightly off guard. For a moment her mind traveled back to when she worked with one of the crime lords back on Khaledrun on a plane far from Elsemar. He had worked as an enforcer for him, as she recalled. Naturally she had no idea if he was even still alive...She held out her hand and replied softly, "It is a pleasure to meet you Mister Lori."

She then inclined her head at Victor, her eyes returning his gaze with a guarded one of her own. "Victor, is it? I have heard...much of you. Your reputation precedes you." She then smiled, "And a pleasure it is as well to make your acquaintance!"

She allowed herself to be guided to one of the sofas and took a seat, motioning for Sasha to sit next to her. Once settled in she says, "As you have guessed, I am not here for amusement but business. My fellow aide Scribe Hithraen has need of leasing a penthouse suite in the Arcade." She then outlines the specifics of his request. "Would you have one available?"

Lureene nodded in reply to the charming elf even as she recalled what little she knew of him.

He is the Guildmaster of the Cartwrights I believe? I know the have had some difficulties recently and also he and Gallo don't get along too well. He sounds like a good man.

"A pleasure to see you again Master Rochmir." She smiled at him as she held out her hand in greeting, "Actually, I am looking for a penthouse suite for Scribe Hithraen as a favor for him. He would like something close to the West, as near to Central Avenue as possible while overlooking both Victor's and the plazas below; that would be ideal."

Her hair tied back in an elegant braid and her makeup reapplied, Lureene gazed about her in the mid-afternoon sun at the bustling crowds moving all about the Arcade. She kept close to Amhranai until the older elf woman indicated their part of the trip was at an end.

She marveled at the beauty and grandeur of the various shops and cafes sprinkled about the colonnade. She gripped her staff tightly as she allowed the crowds to flow around her and Sasha, knowing her exotic beauty was like a beacon.

Well, if Shivone has an office here she will certainly know of my arrival by now... She thought wryly. She motioned to Sasha, "I suppose we need to find the landlord who is in charge of leasing out the penthouse apartments." She looked about the plaza, "There has to be an office around here SOMEWHERE..."

Lureene relaxed in Arion's embrace and nodded slowly. "This should not be too hard to find Arion. I can take Giles with me I suppose..." the rest of her words drowned in his kiss.

As he closed the door behind him she squealed in excitement, "That sounds like it would be FUN Arion! I know Sash...errr...the Scarlet Corsair will enjoy this little excursion as well!" As Arion explained further of the true motives of his trip, a look of concern creeped across her face. "While I am not afraid of heading into that pirate's den, perhaps I should be disguised for this trip. Being my Mother's daughter may draw too much attention to ourselves. Do you agree?"

Lureene's face took in the news of Alis' plans with a quick look of surprise. Funny, I don't recall 'Lis mentioning she wanted to turn the Shiv into a naval port...

Her face fell as she realized Arion will soon be heading out of the city for a while. To hide her disappointment, she smiled instead. "Well, I have never done any shopping for places to live...uhh...work that is..." she chuckled nervously. "But I am sure we can fine a suitable place to locate your office, Arion. Are there any special requirements you need for your office?"

Lureene glanced around her looking for the source of the voice which made her pulse quicken. His words also brought a flush to her face. After a moment scanning the courtyard she finally noticed him hiding off to one side. As she waved him over in what she hoped was a ladylike gesture, she responded, "Your assistance would be most appreciated, Scribe Arion!" She flashed a dazzling smile at him as she continued, "I take it Princess Alis does not require our presence at this time?"

Lureene gratefully accepted her friend's hand in exiting the carriage. "Well, I don't know if Arion is going to be too flashy with his new office. I mean, he is trying not to draw TOO much attention to himself I believe."

She gently stroked Grak's chin, whispering softly into his ear. "Thanks again for protecting me from Lord Gallo. While I know he did not want to HURT me, he certainly wanted me to be...uncomfortable there for a while." As he flew off to take a much needed break from his exertions, Lureene turned to face Sasha again. "I agree we should make ourselves more...presentable, however I suspect our sight-seeing trip will have to wait..."

...especially if I know 'Lis here, she is going to want ALL the details of our visit. I just hope she is pleased with the results...if not the methods...

Lureene turned an icy glare upon the Zuck who insulted Sasha. She pointed to Grak, who still hovered protectively near his mistress. "For your information...Captain, they are BOTH my companions!"

Next time, I will just let him kiss me. I mean I have been kissed by worse men before...

Ohhhh this is JUST GREAT!

Lureene finished helping the Lord back to his feet, trying not to groan at his extra weight. Even with Sasha's help it was all she could do to stand him up. Once Gallo was seated she leaned to whisper back to Sasha, "Well, I DID have him eating out of my hand..."

As the guard captain queried her, she shook her head in reply. "I am fine Captain. It is just my COMPANION believed I was in danger and was trying to protect me." She addressed the house guards. "Surely you can understand that?" She pointed a slender finger in the Baron's direction to emphasize her point.

Lureene shook off the look of shock on her face and hurried over to help Sasha with Lord Gallo.

I had no idea Grak was soooo...protective...

She laid a hand on Gallo's shoulder and motioned for Sasha to help him back on his feet. "I must offer my deepest apologies, Lucio. All I can say in defense is my companion is quite...protective of me." She laid a comforting hand on his shoulder, "I hope Grak did not startle you TOO much! Anyway, I believe it is time for us to bid farewell to you. You were quite the hospitable host, and I do wish to thank you again for helping us out."

Lureene watched Gallo's lips approach her own with a sense of...was it resignation? Yes, yes it was. All through her admittedly short life, she had had to deal with such men like Gallo, men who were more interested in satisfying their own carnal desires than something more lasting.

Is this the price I must pay to help 'Lis out? If this makes her happy, then so be it. I just hope Arion understands...

As Lureene prepared for the upcoming ordeal, she felt the alarm and panic radiating from her faithful companion Grak. Even as she tried to reassure him mentally through their link, she felt the link between them severed as he VANISHED...

Lureene shook her head. "No of course not, that would not be good for the city either." She absentmindedly twirled a golden lock of hair in her finger as she continued, "I suspect you will need to talk with Arion, who is the new Court Scribe for working out the details of the arrangement, but I am sure we can ALL come to an agreement which will please everybody!"

Just before Lureene started to remove his hand from her shoulder she paused for a moment as Grak mentally communicated with her.

Customers? I suppose it does make sense in a way...sounds like he is being LESS than sincere!

Twisting her body so he is not as close to her as before, she looked into his eyes. "Lord Gallo...Lucio...I know you believe it is important to serve your customers, however I want you to put the concerns of the city ahead of your customers. Do you understand me now?"

Lureene, still completely unaware of the effects her meeting with Gallo was having on Grak (not to mention Arion), smiled back at him. "All I ask from you Lord Gallo is you devote your personal efforts into fulfilling this request of mine. I know you will do just fine however, and I believe Princess Kirmoon will also be well pleased with your undertaking."

Lureene smiled brightly in response to the odious man's words, hiding the revulsion she felt at his touch.

I will need another BATH after this!

"I am SOoo glad to hear that! I know your men will do a fine job of helping make sure this fine city looks as beautiful as the Princess has suggested to me it can!" While her voice is cheery, there is just a bare hint of steel in the reply.

Oh this guy is so FULL of himself...I have known DEMONS more humble than this pompous ass!

Lureene sipped the wine slowly while admiring the flavor of this vintage. Whatever his faults were, he was an excellent judge of the finer luxuries in life. Nibbling on a piece of cheese, she turned her smoky gaze upon the Lord. Mentally gritting her teeth in preparation for the protests sure to follow, she waited until he had finished the main course of the lunch, giving the corpulent man a gentle smile.

"Lord Gallo, I have been quite impressed with the generosity you have shown my friend and I with this fine meal. Perhaps my first impression of you may have been in error. Truly you are a caring soul. Now I fear I must impose upon your generosity again." She put on the most winsome smile in her arsenal. "Now, I heard from Princess Kirmoon she was thinking of asking the Concern's ground fleet to assist with the garbage collection as she is unhappy with the priority assigned by the Viamaré Concern for that task." She took another sip of the wine as she let him digest the news. "As a favor for ME, do you think you could help out the Princess here?"

She then waited patiently for a response, hoping it was a positive one. As she waited she was conscious of a warm glow suffusing her body which she realized was spreading from her locket.

Thank you, Father...

That's easy for YOU to say Giles...you are not the one who has to worry about being groped here!

"Yes, of course Giles, thank you for getting our carriage ready for us." Lureene nodded to the faithful butler. As he took his leave, she turned to Sasha and grimaced, "Well, Sash, you have NOOoo idea how many shades of blush, lipstick and eye-shadow in her War-chest! I can understand why 'Lexis used magic for HER makeup needs!" She patted her friend's hand. "Don't worry, I will make sure Lord Gallo treats us to the finest repast he has to offer!"

I don't ever recall MOTHER having this much trouble looking lurid...it must be a GIFT!

After Lureene had left the chamber escorted by Alis' butler Giles with Sasha close behind her, she paused for a moment trying to decide if her current outfit was sufficient for Lord Gallo to take her request seriously.

I know how he wants to take me...and my choice of outfit will either make it easier for him to do so...or NOT!!

After a moment, she decided while her dress was sufficient (as it was not TOO flattering), she knew her hair and face needed some work. Motioning to Giles, she said "Excuse me for a moment, I wish to make myself more presentable for Lord Gallo. I shall meet you at the garden in an hour."

As the butler acknowledged her request, she pulled Sasha along as they headed back to their room. "Sorry, Sash, I think I will need you to dress up in your armor for this as I may need to fight Gallo off with my bare hands!"

She returned to her room and proceeded to braid her hair up, tying it back with a pair of blue ribbons. She also touched up her makeup, darkening her eyes with black eyeliner and applying a subtle shade of pink lipstick. After fixing up her makeup, she grabbed her pouches and her staff nodding to Sasha, "How do I look?"

Lureene curtsied to the Princess, "Of course your Highness. Consider this problem with Lord Gallo dispensed with."

As she headed to the entrance where Sasha awaited her, she placed a hand on the redhead's shoulder. "Of course Sash...I know you must be getting hungry. This won't take long." She then nodded to Commodore Gaeros and the Harbormaster as she exited the chamber, "You are both TRUE gentleman! I shall enjoy seeing you later after I have finished with this minor errand."

Blissfully unaware of the innuendo flying after her words, Lureene smiled warmly at Arion and replied, "Arion, I believe since Lord Gallo seems to be...enamored of me, he would prove more receptive to Princess Alis' suggestion should it be voiced by myself, along with a chance for him to express his whims to me...nothing improper mind you. Just an informal get-together would be sufficient I think."

Lord Gallo is in charge of the shipping...That gives me an idea...

Lureene who had been mostly quiet observing the proceedings spoke up. "Excuse me Master Hior for my ignorance on this subject, but do you mean to say Lord Gallo is causing your...uhh...office some difficulties." Her eyes gleamed as she continued, "Perhaps I can persuade him to help with your shipping concerns."

Lureene nodded slowly at Darvesch's proclamation, all the while resisting the urge to utter some foolish banality in response to the arrogant elf's words. Instead she offered a small smile in reply to his words, a smile not reflected in her eyes.

Easy there Lureene. Let him prattle on to try to draw a response from you. Best he focus his attention on YOU...rather than 'Lis who can read him much easier that I...that much I know. Still, every little statement uttered by him only gives him more rope to hang himself with.

Lureene spoke quietly after the dwarf finished his statement. "I believe your words have merit, Sir Hellhammer. Considering the state Port Eldarion finds herself in, bringing in outside help seems a sensible proposition to me."

On the look from Arion, Lureene tore her gaze from the Treasurer and instead deigned to stare at a spot above his left shoulder. The meaning was clear; she no longer considered him anyone of import.

...At least not until he apologizes to ME!

As Darvesch explained his plans for the Lightbringer citadel, she repressed a smile not so much for agreeing with the doughty dwarf (although she certainly had no complaints) but for the gnashing of teeth she could imagine him doing as the cost of this endeavor became clear.

And I hope you CHOKE on that, Hior!

Lureene pocketed the note and while the others took their positions in the palace hall glanced at the contents.

The only reaction noticed by the others to the note's contents was a reddening of her cheeks and an ardent look returned to the Scribe...which grew more intense and less welcoming as her gaze strayed to the Treasurer.

Lureene was caught off guard by the display of affection shown by Alis, but readily returned the hug. "I love you too, 'Lis. I suppose you will talk with me later about the vision right?"

As Giles announced the arrival of the Royal party, Lureene slid next to Arion and silently mouthed "Morning...my Lord! to him.

Lureene stifled a yawn as the Princess mentioned getting some rest. Still she did realize the vision from earlier presaged the lack of relaxation time for the foreseeable future.

She hook her head as she recalled the frenzy of trying to find an appropriate outfit for her to wear, as most of her clothes were still unpacked. Still she was able to find a pretty dress to wear. While the dress was devoid of any fancy ornamentation, the light blue cotton fabric hugged her body pleasantly. She decided to eschew any jewelry and wear her hair down as it wass till damp.

At least I was able to work the tangles out...

She nodded her head in reply, "Yes, despite what happened earlier I was able to sleep quite well thank you, 'Lis." As she heard who was attending the meeting, the expression on her face grew pitiless. "THIS will prove quite interesting...I certainly hope he apologizes for his actions to me."

Lureene nodded in remembrance as the details of her VISION returned to her mind. "Well, Sash, I did not see Arion, Darvesch, or Amhranai openly...but it was as if I could FEEL their presence watching me...watching US."

She set the goblet down on one of the tables in their suite and looks around for a moment. "I don't see where the baths are, or how to summon one of the servants for directions. Maybe we can find our way there ourselves?"

Lureene stretched her lithe body out and extended her wings outward enjoying the sensation of the satin sheets against her nude body. Her hand reached to grasp the wooden goblet from her friend and gingerly sniffed the inside of it. Discovering the fragrance, while quite pleasant to behold, did not conjure memories of the previous evening. Instead she is reminded of the dream...no the VISION of the Tower...her SOUL it seemed.

She ran her hand through her hair and noted how sticky it was. Certainly it was an interesting sensation, one she had found herself in before...but again that was in a past life, one she was no longer part of.

"Sash, do you remember anything from last night, after we had retired here?" She hopped out of the bed and reached for a robe. "I believe a bath is in order...don't you?" She asked with a smile. As she slipped into the robe, folding her wings out of the way she added excitedly, "The VISION I had....EVERYONE was there!"

Lureene watched the struggle between the goddess, the winged devil, and her Mother silently yet gazing at the struggle she tried to comprehend the deeper meaning behind it.

As Wingilme posed her question, she felt as if she was on the verge of truely understanding. [smaller]"Sash, there is more than one way to fight such a battle. In addition to fighting it with sword and spell, there is the battle of the HEART...a battle more crucial in the long-term." Raising her voice slightly she adds, "I know your family serves the winged DEVIL...as even my MOTHER wishes my servitude." She turned to give Alis a smile as she adds "'Lis, you serve Sumalya as a true CHAMPION should! I believe our battle is to be waged in the hearts and minds of those who serve our enemies."

She turns a questioning look to the nymph who transported the trio here, "Am I correct, Wingilme?"

The rest of the evening passed for Lureene in a series of pleasant images and sensations. A gentle caress...a tingling of her skin...a stroke of her wing...Yet the angel-haired beauty did not stir. As the others contemplated this development it soon became clear the winged lady was quite simply exhausted.

She stirred briefly at the sound of thunder which echoed off in the distance, arm moving up reflexively to shield herself before lapsing back into slumber. As Arion placed her into the bed, satin sheets covering up her body, he could have sworn he saw a smile on her lovely face after he had removed his lips from hers.

Arion Hithraen wrote:
"Sweet dreams. Sweet dreams. I must bid Thee farewell. Tranquility shall be with Thee warded under this spell."

"Farewell, my love..." Her voice emerged softly before drifting back into restful slumber.

Lureene chuckled lightly at Alis' comment. Well Grak is bright enough for me...as is Sash. "'Lis, I know Sash is susceptible to such enchantments as I was also there. Unfortunately, such enchantments prey on a person's will and psyche, which cannot be easily changed. However I don't believe she is as much a liability as you make her out to be 'Lis. I believe she helps compensate for MY own weaknesses as she is much better in a fight than I could ever hope to be!"

If she was indeed a serious liability, then you may as well throw her in the dungeon and lock away the key!

Lureene yawned mightily and gave Alis a small smile. "Still, it is something for me to look into. Perhaps there is a magical item which would help..."

Lureene stirred herself from pleasant dreams and focused her gaze on her Princess. Alis' words brought her mind to focus (at least for the moment). She waited for Arion to finish his report, along with his praise of Alis, before adding in a voice laced with fatigue. "What Arion says is the truth. However what he fails to mention is the underlying reason for his overreaction to Ugorji's words. He implied a threat to BIND me as he attempted to bind my Mother." Her eyes grew haunted with the memory. "As you well know, Princess, due to my otherworldly nature I would have been helpless to resist him! Only the fact he was not aware I existed saved me from that fate...Slavery pales in comparison to being bound in such a way!"

She paused for a moment gathering her thoughts before she added, "As for Darvesch's reaction to my disobeying YOUR orders to avoid using lethal force against him....all I can say is he was about to kill Sasha and having Grak strike to kill was the ONLY way, in my opinion, to save her life. I must confess..." her voice lowered to a whisper, "I...I...would not have minded one bit if he had been killed, 'Lis. A mage of that power to bind those of my nature to...to bind ME to his own will...'Lis, he SCARED me."

Lureene shook her head at her friend's appetite. I am amazed...she could go all night I think! Realizing the more wine she drank the less chance she would make it to her own room (wherever that was) under her own power, she held out the bottle to her bodyguard. "Help yourself, Sash. I just would request you NOT overindulge too much this evening..."

Lureene waved off the offer from her best redheaded friend. "That's OK, Sash. I don't think I could eat another bite!" ...of FOOD, that is.

Lureene allowed herself to be held by him, taking comfort in both his body warmth and in his words spoken from the heart.

"OOooh Arion...I believe we can and DO make a beautiful team TOGETHER! I will support you in EVERY way I am able to do so." Her lips brushed against his in a tender kiss, lingering for a moment before pulling away. "As you know , I have duties as well. Duty to serve and help my FRIEND 'Lis, who has done for me MORE than even she realizes. I know she will need OUR help..." she adds as her hand moves to clasp his own hand in her own, fingers entwined with his, "in order to bring peace to Port Eldarion." Her lips travel up his face to breath again in his ear. "BUT if you mention that island paradise again...I may just take you up on that promise!"

She then pulled him into another embrace, kissing him warmly on his lips before reluctantly pulling away. "We should see what the others are doing now...I can barely keep my eyes open, Arion. Maybe you know of where my room is?"

Lureene spent most of the dinner satisfying her body's hunger and thirst, coupled with the ongoing battle to stay awake. Being on land again did not make that any easier.

Time and again she found her gaze straying to the handsome Sky elf whom she had grown very...fond of. Or was it something MORE? She focused on the look of anger fueled by rage in his pale eyes as he confronted Ugorji back at the Avenger.

Was Arion reacting that way because of ME?? She sipped the wine slowly, trying to gather her thoughts together to figure out the enigma that was her lover. I have seen his eyes glow with passion and desire for me...and yet he shares that look with Sash...understandably so, I would say. He is a man of great passions, I can see that. He buries his feelings deep and tries to control them...as do I. We are much alike in that respect. Perhaps he truly LOVES me...as I do love Alis, and Sasha. Gods know the feeling of terror I felt when I saw Sasha helpless through Grak's eyes...if she had been killed, would I have responded with even less restraint than Arion showed there?

As Alis headed out to talk with Darvesch and Amhranai, Lureene took advantage of the situation to talk with Arion. Picking up her wineglass and, after a moment of thought, added a fresh bottle in her other hand she headed out to where Arion was standing alone with his thoughts. She set the glass and bottle down on one of the tables and moved behind him, embracing him gently.

"Arion...is there something you wish to...talk about?" Her voice breathes softly in his ear with a note of concern.

As Lureene struggled slightly with the weight of the lock box which held the confiscated magical gear, she smiled gratefully at Arion's assistance. She murmured softly to him also in the Auran tongue, "Arion...always the gentleman I see...I shall remember this GALLANT gesture and thank you later for it!"

Stifling a yawn as the pair approached the royal retinue, she could not help but think of Arion's display of behavior towards Ugorji. To be honest, it troubled her more than she cared to admit. Unlike her previous lover (whose ring still encircled her finger), she believed Arion had more difficulty controlling his emotions.

Perhaps an informal chat with Tiniel would be in order...

As they arrived in front of Alis and her retinue, Lureene bowed down in front of her ruler. "Your Highness, as you have probably already determined, our mission was a success. We were able to capture the assassin and return him here without any loss of life." She gave Alis a look filled with urgency as she continued, "The things we learned from the prisoner need to be discussed... preferably in a more private setting...AAaand with a full pot of tea!" She finished as she again stifled another yawn.

Lureene rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she was woken up by Darvesch's yell. Yawning, she rose to her feet and moved to the locker where she had stored the magical gear, her gaze drawn to the naked dwarf. Well accustomed to Darvesch's nudity by now, and not wanting to dredge up past history between lovers, Lureene purposefully turned her attention to other matters. Unwilling to leave the lock unprotected, even for a moment, she waved Captain Fingel over. "Is there an escort for our prisoner waiting for us?"

We are at the Palace? I hope we have an escort because the last thing I feel like doing now is wandering all over this place!

"Sure thing Sash."

Lureene stroked Sasha's hair for a moment as she watched Arion slip into his trance. She then slid into her own hammock, wings shifted to cover her body, but she realized the motion of the Avenger made her restless, preventing her eyes from closing for long.

Insomnia...lovely...

She slipped out of the hammock, careful so as not to disturb her lovers and paced the cabin for a few moments.

I HATE sea travel!

Figuring she may as well do something productive with her time, she went to the locker and opened it. Taking Ugorji's gear out she looked it over and soon the sound of soft chanting filled the cabin as she bent to examine the items for their magical properties.

Lureene motioned to Grak to help Amelia keep an eye on their prisoner and responded quietly to the Zuck witch. "Thank you, we will. Be careful around him, I do NOT trust him."

After she and her lovers returned to the cabin they were assigned, she turned to Arion with a questioning look in her eyes. "Arion? I know you really dislike Ugorji, and I can understand why. He did lead to Wingilme's murder, yet I think he is more valuable to us alive." She took a breath, unsure how he would take her next words. "I don't want to see you go down the same path of corruption first trod by Daede-- ", she interrupted herself before finishing, "The Destroyer!"

Lureene looked hard at the prisoner, like examining an intersting species of insect. He has certainly DAMNED himself here...it is only a matter of time before justice is served. Wingilme's death CANNOT be forgiven here!

She shook her head slowly, "No Amelia. I have nothing more to ask of him. His fate is sealed." She then takes Arion's hand in hers, "let's go...the sight of HIM is making me ill." She will then head to the cabin to begin examining the magical gear.

Fairly simple question, can I cast ward shield on the invisible shield generated by the shield spell? As a force effect it is a solid.

And is there a FAQ on force effects that anyone can point me toward?

I moved to Waterville Maine, or as I like to think of it the ass end of the universe, about six months ago. So adding two months of pre-transition crap I haven't gamed in about eight months. I've about hit the breaking point. How long after you haven't gamed are you no longer a gamer?

There's one little hole-in-the-wall shop that sells card games. The nearest decent comic/game shop is an hour away. Not to mention the movie theatres here are about 10+ years out of date, sorry different subject.

I've been gaming for since I was 12 years old, I'm now 32. I don't have any odious habits, no lisp, I shower regularly, I'm married, no kids and not living in anyone's mother basement. I'm a firm believer in contributing to the pop and munchies.

I've played with one group for a little over twelve years. Been with other groups off and on. I don't deal well with immature players or mooches. I like good indepth roleplaying. I'm not big on hack and slash or pointless dungeon crawling. I believe in cooperative storytelling.

I'm beginning to believe that I just might be past the point where I'll be able to find a new group. I very much doubt I'll be able to find one that fits any of my expectations. So do I just give in and quit?
